1 В конец, псалом Давиду. На Господа уповах, како речете души моей: превитай по горам, яко птица?
[For the Chief Musician. By David.] In Jehovah, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain."
2 Яко се, грешницы налякоша лук, уготоваша стрелы в туле, состреляти во мраце правыя сердцем.
For, look, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3 Зане яже ты совершил еси, они разрушиша: праведник же что сотвори?
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 Господь во храме святем Своем. Господь, на небеси престол Его: очи Его на нищаго призираете, вежди Его испытаете сыны человеческия.
Jehovah is in his holy temple. Jehovah is on his throne in heaven. His eyes look upon the poor. His eyes examine the descendants of Adam.
5 Господь испытает праведнаго и нечестиваго: любяй же неправду ненавидит свою душу.
Jehovah examines the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence his soul hates.
6 Одождит на грешники сети: огнь и жупел, и дух бурен часть чаши их.
On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7 Яко праведен Господь и правды возлюби: правоты виде лице Его.
For Jehovah is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.
