От Матфея святое благовествование 5
1 Узрев же народы, взыде на гору: и седшу Ему, приступиша к Нему ученицы Его.
Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
2 И отверз уста Своя, учаше их, глаголя:
He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3 блажени нищии духом: яко тех есть Царствие Небесное.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
4 Блажени плачущии: яко тии утешатся.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 Блажени кротцыи: яко тии наследят землю.
Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Блажени алчущии и жаждущии правды: яко тии насытятся.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
7 Блажени милостивии: яко тии помиловани будут.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Блажени честии сердцем: яко тии Бога узрят.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 Блажени миротворцы: яко тии сынове Божии нарекутся.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
10 Блажени изгнани правды ради: яко тех есть Царствие Небесное.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
11 Блажени есте, егда поносят вам, и ижденут, и рекут всяк зол глагол на вы лжуще, Мене ради:
“Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 радуйтеся и веселитеся, яко мзда ваша многа на небесех: тако бо изгнаша пророки, иже (беша) прежде вас.
Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
13 Вы есте соль земли: аще же соль обуяет, чим осолится? Ни во чтоже будет ктому, точию да изсыпана будет вон и попираема человеки.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavour, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
14 Вы есте свет мира: не может град укрытися верху горы стоя:
You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
15 ниже вжигают светилника и поставляют его под спудом, но на свещнице, и светит всем, иже в храмине (суть).
Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16 Тако да просветится свет ваш пред человеки, яко да видят ваша добрая дела и прославят Отца вашего, Иже на небесех.
Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
17 (Да) не мните, яко приидох разорити закон, или пророки: не приидох разорити, но исполнити.
“Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 Аминь бо глаголю вам: дондеже прейдет небо и земля, иота едина, или едина черта не прейдет от закона, дондеже вся будут.
For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
19 Иже аще разорит едину заповедий сих малых и научит тако человеки, мний наречется в Царствии Небеснем: а иже сотворит и научит, сей велий наречется в Царствии Небеснем.
Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
20 Глаголю бо вам, яко аще не избудет правда ваша паче книжник и фарисей, не внидете в Царствие Небесное.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
21 Слышасте, яко речено бысть древним: не убиеши: иже (бо) аще убиет, повинен есть суду.
“You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgement.’
22 Аз же глаголю вам, яко всяк гневаяйся на брата своего всуе повинен есть суду: иже бо аще речет брату своему: рака, повинен есть сонмищу: а иже речет: уроде, повинен есть геенне огненней. (Geenna g1067)
But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgement. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
23 Аще убо принесеши дар твой ко олтарю и ту помянеши, яко брат твой имать нечто на тя:
“If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
24 остави ту дар твой пред олтарем и шед прежде смирися с братом твоим, и тогда пришед принеси дар твой.
leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 Буди увещаваяся с соперником твоим скоро, дондеже еси на пути с ним, да не предаст тебе соперник судии, и судия тя предаст слузе, и в темницу ввержен будеши:
Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
26 аминь глаголю тебе: не изыдеши оттуду, дондеже воздаси последний кодрант.
Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.
27 Слышасте, яко речено бысть древним: не прелюбы сотвориши.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’
28 Аз же глаголю вам, яко всяк, иже воззрит на жену ко еже вожделети ея, уже любодействова с нею в сердцы своем:
but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 аще же око твое десное соблажняет тя, изми е и верзи от себе: уне бо ти есть, да погибнет един от уд твоих, а не все тело твое ввержено будет в геенну (огненную): (Geenna g1067)
If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
30 и аще десная твоя рука соблажняет тя, усецы ю и верзи от себе: уне бо ти есть, да погибнет един от уд твоих, а не все тело твое ввержено будет в геенну. (Geenna g1067)

31 Речено же бысть, яко иже аще пустит жену свою, да даст ей книгу распустную.
“It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,’
32 Аз же глаголю вам, яко всяк отпущаяй жену свою, разве словесе любодейнаго, творит ю прелюбодействовати: и иже пущеницу поймет, прелюбодействует.
but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.
33 Паки слышасте, яко речено бысть древним: не во лжу кленешися, воздаси же Господеви клятвы твоя.
“Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’
34 Аз же глаголю вам не клятися всяко: ни небом, яко престол есть Божий:
but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
35 ни землею, яко подножие есть ногама Его: ни Иерусалимом, яко град есть великаго Царя:
nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
36 ниже главою твоею кленися, яко не можеши власа единаго бела или черна сотворити:
Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
37 буди же слово ваше: ей, ей: ни, ни: лишше же сею от неприязни есть.
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
38 Слышасте, яко речено бысть: око за око, и зуб за зуб.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’
39 Аз же глаголю вам не противитися злу: но аще тя кто ударит в десную твою ланиту, обрати ему и другую:
But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 и хотящему судитися с тобою и ризу твою взяти, отпусти ему и срачицу:
If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.
41 и аще кто тя поймет по силе поприще едино, иди с ним два.
Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
42 Просящему у тебе дай, и хотящаго от тебе заяти не отврати.
Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
43 Слышасте, яко речено есть: возлюбиши искренняго твоего и возненавидиши врага твоего.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’
44 Аз же глаголю вам: любите враги вашя, благословите кленущыя вы, добро творите ненавидящым вас, и молитеся за творящих вам напасть и изгонящыя вы,
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
45 яко да будете сынове Отца вашего, Иже есть на небесех: яко солнце Свое сияет на злыя и благия и дождит на праведныя и на неправедныя.
that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
46 Аще бо любите любящих вас, кую мзду имате? Не и мытари ли тожде творят?
For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
47 И аще целуете други вашя токмо, что лишше творите? Не и язычницы ли такожде творят?
If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
48 Будите убо вы совершени, якоже Отец ваш Небесный совершен есть.
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
