Книга пророка Малахии 4
1 Яко се, день грядет горящь яко пещь и попалит я, и будут вси иноплеменницы и вси творящии беззаконная яко стеблие: и возжжет я день Господень грядый, глаголет Господь Вседержитель, и не останется от них корень ниже ветвь.
For behold, the day commeth that shall burne as an ouen, and all the proude, yea, and all that doe wickedly, shall be stubble, and the day that commeth, shall burne them vp, sayeth the Lord of hostes, and shall leaue them neither roote nor branche.
2 И возсияет вам боящымся имене Моего Солнце правды и изцеление в крилех Его: и изыдете и взыграете, якоже телцы от уз разрешени:
But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, and growe vp as fat calues.
3 и поперете беззаконники, и будут пепел под ногами вашими в день, в оньже Аз сотворю, глаголет Господь Вседержитель.
And ye shall treade downe the wicked: for they shall be dust vnder the soles of your feete in the day that I shall doe this, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
4 Помяните закон Моисеа раба Моего, якоже повелех ему в Хориве ко всему Израилю повеления и оправдания.
Remember the lawe of Moses my seruant, which I commanded vnto him in Horeb for all Israel with the statutes and iudgements.
5 И се, Аз послю вам Илию Фесвитянина, прежде пришествия дне Господня великаго и просвещеннаго,
Beholde, I will sende you Eliiah the Prophet before the comming of the great and fearefull day of the Lord.
6 иже устроит сердце отца к сыну и сердце человека ко искреннему его, да не пришед поражу землю в конец.
And he shall turne the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with cursing.
