Книга пророка Исаии 6
1 И бысть в лето, в неже умре Озиа царь, видех Господа седяща на престоле высоце и превознесенне, и исполнь дом славы Его.
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw My Lord, sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and, his skirts, did fill the temple,
2 И Серафими стояху окрест Его, шесть крил единому и шесть крил другому: и двема убо покрываху лица своя, двема же покрываху ноги своя и двема летаху.
Seraphim, were standing above him; six wings severally, had each one, —With twain, he covered his face And with twain, he covered his feet And with twain, he did fly.
3 И взываху друг ко другу и глаголаху: Свят, Свят, Свят Господь Саваоф: исполнь вся земля славы Его.
And they continued crying out one to another, and said, Holy—holy—holy, is Yahweh of hosts, —the fulness of the whole earth, is his glory.
4 И взяся наддверие от гласа, имже вопияху, и дом наполнися дыма.
And the foundations of the porch, were moved at the voice of him that cried, —and the house, was filled with smoke.
5 И рекох: о, окаянный аз, яко умилихся, яко человек сый и нечисты устне имый, посреде людий нечистыя устне имущих аз живу: и Царя Господа Саваофа видех очима моима.
Then said I—Woe to me!—for I am undone, Because a man of unclean lips, am, I, And in the midst of a people of unclean lips, do I dwell, —For the King. Yahweh of hosts, have mine eyes seen!
6 И послан бысть ко мне един от Серафимов, и в руце своей имяше угль горящь, егоже клещами взят от олтаря,
Then flew unto me one of the seraphim, And in his hand, a live coal, —With tongs, had he taken it from off the altar.
7 и прикоснуся устнам моим и рече: се, прикоснуся сие устнам твоим, и отимет беззакония твоя и грехи твоя очистит.
Then touched he my mouth, and said—Lo! this hath touched thy lips, —Thus shall be taken away, thine iniquity, And, thy sin, by propitiation be covered.
8 И слышах глас Господа глаголюща: кого послю, и кто пойдет к людем сим? И рекох: се, аз есмь, посли мя.
Then heard I the voice of My Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said—Here am I—send me.
9 И рече: иди и рцы людем сим: слухом услышите, и не уразумеете: и видяще узрите, и не увидите:
Then said he—Go and say unto this people, —Hear on but do not discern, See on but do not perceive:
10 одебеле бо сердце людий сих, и ушима своима тяжко слышаша, и очи свои смежиша, да не когда узрят очима и ушима услышат, и сердцем уразумеют и обратятся, и изцелю я.
Stupefy thou the heart of this people, And their ears, make thou heavy, And their eyes, overspread, —Lest they see with their eyes And with their ears, should hear, And their heart should discern and come back. And they be healed.
11 И рекох: доколе, Господи? И рече: дондеже опустеют гради, от еже ненаселеным быти, и домы, от еже ненаселеным быти, и домы от еже не быти человеком, и земля останется пуста.
Then said I—How long, My Lord? And he said—Until the time that Cities be wasted through having no inhabitant And houses—through having no men, And, the ground, be laid waste unto desolation;
12 И посем продолжит Бог человеки, и умножатся оставльшиися на земли.
And Yahweh have far removed men, —And great! be the abandonment in the midst of the land.
13 И еще на ней есть десятина, и паки будет в расхищение якоже теревинф и яко желудь, егда испадет из плюски своея: семя свято стояние его.
Yet still shall there be in it a tenth, Though it again be consumed, —Like an oak and like a terebinth Which when felled, have a stock in them, A holy seed, shall be the stock thereof.
