1 Еда не может рука Господня спасти? Или отягчил есть слух Свой, еже не услышати?

2 Но греси ваши разлучают между вами и между Богом, и грех ради ваших отврати лице Свое от вас еже не помиловати.

3 Руце бо ваши осквернене кровию, и персты ваши во гресех, устне же ваши возглаголаша беззаконие, и язык ваш неправде поучается.

4 Никтоже глаголет правды, ниже есть суд истинен: уповают на суетная и глаголют тщетная, яко зачинают труд и раждают беззаконие.

5 Яица аспидска разбиша и постав паучинный ткут, и хотяй от яиц их ясти, разбив запорток (его), обрете и в нем василиска.

6 Постав их не будет на ризу, и не одеждутся от дел своих: дела бо их дела беззакония.

9 Того ради отступи от них суд, и не постигнет их правда: ждущым им света, бысть им тма, ждуще зари во мраце ходиша.

10 Осяжут яко слепии стену, яко суще без очес осязати будут, и падутся в полудни яко в полунощи, яко умирающе возстенут

11 яко медведь, и яко голубь вкупе пойдут. Ждахом суда, и несть, спасение далече отступи от нас.

12 Много бо беззаконие наше пред Тобою, и греси наши противу сташа нам: беззакония бо наша в нас, и неправды нашя уразумехом:

13 нечествовахом и солгахом и отступихом от последования Бога нашего: глаголахом неправду и не покорихомся, во утробе зачахом и поучихомся от сердца нашего словесем неправедным:

14 и оставихом созади суд, и правда далече отступи от нас: яко изнеможе во путех их истина, и правым (путем) не возмогоша прейти:

15 и истина взяся, и преставиша ум свой еже смыслити. И виде Господь и негодова, яко не бяше суда:

16 и виде, и не бяше мужа, и помысли, и не бяше избавляющаго: и мсти им мышцею Своею, и помилованием утверди.

17 И одеяся правдою яко щитом, и возложи шлем спасения на главу, и облечеся в ризу отмщения, и одеждею Своею:

18 яко воздаваяй воздаяние укоризну супостатом.

19 И убоятся, иже от запад, имене Господня, и иже от восток солнца, имене Его славнаго: приидет бо яко река насильная гнев от Господа, приидет со яростию.
