Книга пророка Аггея 1
1 Во второе лето, при Дарии цари, в шестый месяц, в первый (день) месяца, бысть слово Господне рукою Аггеа пророка глаголя: рцы к Зоровавелю Салафиилеву от колена Иудова и ко Иисусу сыну Иоседекову, иерею великому, глаголя:
In the second yeere of King Darius, in the sixt moneth, the first day of the moneth, came ye worde of the Lord (by the ministery of the Prophet Haggai) vnto Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel, a prince of Iudah, and to Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, saying,
2 сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель глаголя: людие сии глаголют: не прииде время создати храм Господень.
Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, saying, This people say, The time is not yet come, that the Lords House should be builded.
3 И бысть слово Господне рукою Аггеа пророка глаголя:
Then came the worde of the Lord by the ministerie of the Prophet Haggai, saying,
4 аще время убо вам есть жити в домех ваших истесаных, храм же мой сей запусте?
Is it time for your selues to dwell in your sieled houses, and this House lie waste?
5 И ныне сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: устройте сердца ваша в пути вашя.
Now therefore thus saith ye Lord of hostes, Consider your owne wayes in your hearts.
6 Сеясте много, и взясте мало: ядосте, и не в сытость: писте, и не в пиянство: облекостеся, и не согрестеся в них: и собираяй мзды собра во влагалище дираво.
Ye haue sowen much, and bring in litle: ye eate, but ye haue not ynough: ye drinke, but ye are not filled: ye clothe you, but ye be not warme: and he that earneth wages, putteth the wages into a broken bagge.
7 Сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: положите сердца ваша в пути вашя,
Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Consider your owne wayes in your hearts.
8 взыдите на гору и усецыте древа, и принесите и созиждите храм, и благоволю в нем и прославлюся, рече Господь.
Goe vp to the mountaine, and bring wood, and build this House, and I wil be fauourable in it, and I will be glorified, sayth the Lord.
9 Призресте на многа, и быша мала, и внесосте я в храм, и отдунух я: сего ради сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: зане храм Мой есть пуст, вы же течете кийждо в дом свой,
Ye looked for much, and lo, it came to litle: and when ye brought it home, I did blowe vpon it. And why, sayth the Lord of hostes? Because of mine House that is waste, and ye runne euery man vnto his owne house.
10 сего ради удержится небо от росы, и земля оскудит изношения своя,
Therefore the heauen ouer you stayed it selfe from dewe, and the earth stayed her fruite.
11 и наведу мечь на землю и на горы, и на пшеницу и на вино и на елей, и на вся, елика износит земля, и на человеки и на скоты и на вся труды рук их.
And I called for a drought vpon the land, and vpon the mountaines, and vpon the corne, and vpon the wine, and vpon the oyle, vpon all that the ground bringeth foorth: both vpon men and vpon cattell, and vpon all the labour of the hands.
12 И слыша Зоровавель Салафиилев от колена Иудова, и Иисус Иоседеков, иерей великий, и вси прочии людие глас Господа Бога своего и словеса Аггеа пророка, якоже посла его Господь Бог их к ним, и убояшася людие от лица Господня.
When Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel, and Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest with all the remnant of the people, heard the voyce of the Lord their God, and the wordes of the Prophet Haggai (as the Lord their God had sent him) then the people did feare before the Lord.
13 И рече Аггей вестник Господень в вестницех Господних людем, глаголя: Аз есмь с вами, глаголет Господь.
Then spake Haggai the Lords messenger in the Lords message vnto the people, saying, I am with you, sayth the Lord.
14 И воздвиже Господь дух Зоровавеля Салафиилева от колена Иудова и дух Иисуса Иоседекова, иереа великаго, и дух прочиих всех людий: и внидоша и творяху дела во храме Господа Вседержителя Бога своего.
And the Lord stirred vp the spirite of Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel a prince of Iudah, and the spirit of Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people, and they came, and did the worke in the House of the Lord of hostes their God.
15 В двадесять четвертый день месяца шестаго, во второе лето, при Дарии цари,
In the foure and twentieth day of the sixt moneth, in the second yeere of King Darius,
