Бытие 32
1 И Иаков иде в путь свой. И воззрев виде полк Божий воополчившийся: и сретоша его Ангели Божии.
And Jacob he went to way his and they met him [the] angels of God.
2 Рече же Иаков, егда виде их: полк Божий сей. И прозва имя месту тому Полки.
And he said Jacob just when he saw them [is] [the] camp of God this and he called [the] name of the place that Mahanaim.
3 Посла же Иаков послы пред собою ко Исаву брату своему в землю Сиир, в страну Едом,
And he sent Jacob messengers before him to Esau brother his [the] land of towards Seir [the] region of Edom.
4 и заповеда им глаголя: тако рцыте господину моему Исаву: тако глаголет раб твой Иаков: у Лавана обитах и умедлих даже до ныне:
And he commanded them saying thus you will say! to lord my to Esau thus he says servant your Jacob with Laban I have sojourned and I have delayed until now.
5 и быша ми волове и ослы и овцы, и раби и рабыни: и послах поведати господину моему Исаву, дабы обрел раб твой благодать пред тобою.
And it be[longs] to me ox[en] and donkey[s] flock[s] and [male] servant[s] and female servant[s] and I have sent! to tell to lord my to find favor in view your.
6 И возвратишася послы ко Иакову, глаголюще: ходихом ко брату твоему Исаву, и се, сам идет во сретение тебе, и четыриста мужей с ним.
And they returned the messengers to Jacob saying we went to brother your to Esau and also [he is] coming to meet you and four hundred man [are] with him.
7 Убояся же Иаков зело и в недоумении бе: и раздели люди сущыя с собою, и волы и велблюды и овцы на два полка,
And he was afraid Jacob exceedingly and it was distress to him and he divided the people which [was] with him and the flock and the herd and the camels into two camps.
8 и рече Иаков: аще приидет Исав на един полк и изсечет и, будет вторый полк во спасении.
And he said if he will come Esau to the camp one and he will attack it and it will become the camp which remains an escaped remnant.
9 Рече же Иаков: Бог отца моего Авраама и Бог отца моего Исаака, Господи Боже, Ты рекий ми: иди в землю рождения твоего, и благо тебе сотворю:
And he said Jacob O God of father my Abraham and [the] God of father my Isaac O Yahweh who said to me return to land your and to kindred your so let me do good with you.
10 довлеет ми от всея правды и от всея истины, юже сотворил еси рабу Твоему: с жезлом бо сим преидох Иордан сей, ныне же бех в два полка:
I am [too] insignificant for all the covenant loyalti and for all the faithfulness which you have done with servant your for with staff my I passed over the Jordan this and now I have become two camps.
11 изми мя от руки брата моего, от руки Исава: яко боюся аз его, да не когда пришед убиет мя и матерь с чады:
Deliver me please from [the] hand of brother my from [the] hand of Esau for [am] fearing I him lest he should come and he will attack me mother with children.
12 ты же рекл еси: благо тебе сотворю и положу семя твое яко песок морский, иже не изочтется от множества.
And you you have said certainly I will do good with you and I will make offspring your like [the] sand of the sea which not it will be counted from multitude.
13 И спа тамо нощи тоя, и взя, яже имяше дары, и посла Исаву брату своему:
And he stayed [the] night there in the night that and he took some of which came in hand his a gift for Esau brother his.
14 коз двести, козлов двадесять, овец двести, овнов двадесять,
Female goats two hundred and male goats twenty ewes two hundred and rams twenty.
15 велблюдов дойных, и жребят их тридесять, волов четыредесять, юнцов десять, ослов двадесять и жребят десять:
Camels suckling and young their thirty cows forty and bulls ten female donkeys twenty and male donkeys ten.
16 и даде их рабом своим, (коеждо) стадо особо, и рече рабом своим: идите предо мною, и разстояние творите между стадом и стадом.
And he gave [them] in [the] hand of servants his herd herd to only it and he said to servants his pass over before me and a space you will put between a herd and between a herd.
17 И заповеда первому глаголя: аще тя срящет Исав брат мой и вопросит тя глаголя: чий еси, и камо идеши, и чия сия, яже пред тобою идут?
And he commanded the first saying that he will meet you Esau brother my and he will ask you saying [belong] to whom? you and where? are you going and [belong] to whom? these [animals] before you.
18 Речеши: раба твоего Иакова: дары посла господину моему Исаву: и се, сам за нами (идет).
And you will say to servant your to Jacob [is] a gift it [which has] been sent to lord my to Esau and there! also he [is] behind us.
19 И заповеда первому, и второму, и третиему, и всем предидущым вслед стад сих глаголя: по словеси сему глаголите Исаву, егда обрящете его вы,
And he commanded both the second as well as the third as well as all who were going behind the herds saying according to the manner this you will speak! to Esau when find you him.
20 и рцыте: се, раб твой Иаков идет за нами: рече бо: укрощу лице его дарами предидущими его, и посем узрю лице его: негли бо приимет лице мое?
And you will say also there! servant your Jacob [is] behind us for he said I will cover face his by the gift that is going before me and after thus I will see face his perhaps he will lift up face my.
21 И предидяху дары пред лицем его, сам же преспа тоя нощи в полце.
And it passed on the gift on face his and he [was] staying [the] night in the night that in the camp.
22 Востав же тоя нощи, поя обе жены (своя) и обе рабыни и единонадесять сынов своих, и прейде брод Иавок:
And he rose - in the night that and he took [the] two wives his and [the] two maidservants his and one [plus] ten sons his and he passed over [the] ford of Jabbok.
23 и взя их, и прейде поток, и преведе вся своя.
And he took them and he sent over them the wadi and he sent over [that] which [belonged] to him.
24 Остася же Иаков един. И боряшеся с ним Человек даже до утра.
And he remained Jacob to only him and he wrestled a man with him until came up the dawn.
25 Виде же, яко не может противу ему: и прикоснуся широте стегна его: и отерпе широта стегна Иаковля, егда боряшеся с Ним.
And he saw that not he prevailed to him and he touched [the] socket of thigh his and it was dislocated [the] socket of [the] thigh of Jacob when wrestled he with him.
26 И рече ему: пусти Мя: взыде бо заря. Он же рече: не пущу Тебе, аще не благословиши мене.
And he said let go me for it has come up the dawn and he said not I will let go you that except you have blessed me.
27 Рече же ему: что ти имя есть? Он же рече: Иаков.
And he said to him what? [is] name your and he said Jacob.
28 И рече ему: не прозовется ктому имя твое Иаков, но Исраиль будет имя твое: понеже укрепился еси с Богом и с человеки силен будеши.
And he said not Jacob it will be called again name your that except Israel for you have struggled with God and with people and you have prevailed.
29 Вопроси же Иаков и рече: повеждь ми имя Твое. И рече: вскую сие вопрошаеши ты имене Моего? Еже чудно есть. И благослови его тамо.
And he asked Jacob and he said tell! please name your and he said why? this do you ask to name my and he blessed him there.
30 И прозва Иаков имя месту тому Вид Божий: видех бо Бога лицем к лицу, и спасеся душа моя.
And he called Jacob [the] name of the place Peniel for I have seen God face to face and it has been delivered life my.
31 Возсия же ему солнце, егда прейде Вид Божий: он же хромаше стегном своим.
And it rose to him the sun just when he passed over Penuel and he [was] limping on thigh his.
32 Сего ради не ядят сынове Израилевы жилы, яже отерпе, яже есть в широте стегна, даже до дне сего: понеже прикоснуся широте стегна Иаковли жилы, яже отерпе.
There-fore not they eat [the] people of Israel [the] sinew of the tendon which [is] on [the] socket of the thigh until the day this for he touched [the] socket of [the] thigh of Jacob [the] sinew of the tendon.
