1 И бысть по сих, и вопроси Давид Господа, глаголя: вниду ли в един от градов Иудиных? И рече Господь к нему: и вниди. И рече Давид: камо вниду? И рече: в Хеврон.
And it was after thus and he enquired David by Yahweh - saying ¿ will I go up in one of [the] cities of Judah and he said Yahweh to him go up and he said David where? will I go up and he said Hebron towards.
2 И иде тамо Давид в Хеврон, и обе жены его, Ахинаам Иезраилитыня и Авигеа (бывшая) жена Навала Кармилскаго,
And he went up there David and also [the] two wives his Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman] and Abigail [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
3 и мужие иже с ним кийждо, и домове их, и начаша жити во градех Хевронских.
And men his who [were] with him he brought up David each man and household his and they dwelt in [the] cities of Hebron.
4 И приидоша мужие от Иудеи и помазаша тамо Давида, да царствует над домом Иудиным. И возвестиша Давиду, глаголюще: яко мужие Иависа Галаадититскаго погребоша Саула.
And they came [the] people of Judah and they anointed there David to king over [the] house of Judah and people told to David saying [the] men of Jabesh Gilead who they buried Saul.
5 И посла Давид послы к старейшинам Иависа Галаадититскаго и рече к ним Давид: благословени вы Господу, яко сотвористе милость сию над господином вашим Саулом, христом Господним, и погребосте его и Ионафана сына его:
And he sent David messengers to [the] people of Jabesh Gilead and he said to them [be] blessed you by Yahweh that you have done the loyalty this with lord your with Saul and you have buried him.
6 и ныне да сотворит Господь с вами милость и истину: и аз сотворю с вами сие благое, понеже сотвористе глагол сей:
And now may he do Yahweh with you covenant loyalty and faithfulness and also I I will do with you the good this that you have done the thing this.
7 и ныне да укрепятся руки вашя, и да будете сынове сильнии, яко умре господин ваш Саул, мене же помаза дом Иудин, да царствую над ними.
And now - let them be strong hands your and become sons of strength for he has died lord your Saul and also me they have anointed [the] house of Judah to king over them.
8 И Авенир сын Ниров, началный воевода Саулов, взя Иевосфеа сына Сауля, и изведе его из полка в Манаем,
And Abner [the] son of Ner [the] commander of [the] army which [belonged] to Saul he had taken Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul and he had brought over him Mahanaim.
9 и воцари его над Галаадитиею и над Фасириею и над Иезраилем и над Ефремом и над Вениамином и над всем Израилем.
And he made king him to Gilead and to the Ashurite[s] and to Jezreel and over Ephraim and over Benjamin and over Israel all of it.
10 Четыредесять лет Иевосфею бе сыну Саулову, егда нача царствовати над Израилем, и два лета царствова, кроме дому Иудина, иже бысть за Давидом.
[was] a son of Forty year[s] Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul when became king he over Israel and two years he reigned only [the] house of Judah they were after David.
11 И быша дние, в няже Давид царствова в Хевроне над домом Иудиным, седмь лет и шесть месяц.
And it was [the] number of the days which he was David king in Hebron over [the] house of Judah seven years and six months.
12 И изыде Авенир сын Ниров и отроцы Иевосфеа сына Сауля из Манаема в Гаваон.
And he went out Abner [the] son of Ner and [the] servants of Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul from Mahanaim Gibeon towards.
13 И Иоав сын Саруиев и отроцы Давидовы изыдоша от Хеврона и сретошася с ними у потока Гаваоня купно, и седоша сии над потоком отсюду, и тии оттуду.
And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and [the] servants of David they went out and they met them at [the] pool of Gibeon together and they sat down these [men] at the pool from this and these [men] at the pool from this.
14 И рече Авенир ко Иоаву: да востанут ныне отроцы и да поиграют пред нами. И рече Иоав: да востанут.
And he said Abner to Joab let them arise please the young men and let them play before us and he said Joab let them arise.
15 И восташа и преидоша от отрок Вениаминовых, числом дванадесять Иевосфеа сына Сауля, и от отрок Давидовых дванадесять:
And they arose and they passed by by number two [plus] ten for Benjamin and for Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul and two [plus] ten from [the] servants of David.
16 и взя кийждо рукою за главу искренняго своего, и мечь его в ребра искренняго его, и падоша вкупе: и наречеся имя месту тому Часть Наветников, яже есть в Гаваоне.
And they took hold each - on [the] head of neighbor his and sword his [was] in [the] side of neighbor his and they fell together and someone called the place that Helkath Hazzurim which [is] in Gibeon.
17 И бысть брань жестока зело в той день: и паде Авенир и мужие Израилстии пред отроки Давидовы.
And it was the battle severe up to muchness on the day that and he was defeated Abner and [the] men of Israel before [the] servants of David.
18 И быша тамо три сынове Саруиевы, Иоав и Авесса и Асаил: Асаил же бе легок ногама своима, яко едина серна от сущих на селе.
And they were there three [the] sons of Zeruiah Joab and Abishai and Asahel and Asahel [was] swift on feet his like one of the gazelles which [are] in the open country.
19 И погна Асаил вслед Авенира, и не уклонися ни на десно ни на лево, но вслед Авенира:
And he pursued Asahel after Abner and not he turned aside to go to the right and to the left from after Abner.
20 и озреся Авенир назад себе и рече: ты ли еси сам, Асаиле? И рече: аз есмь.
And he turned Abner behind him and he said ¿ you [is] this O Asahel and he said I.
21 И рече ему Авенир: уклонися ты на десно или на шуее, и возми себе единаго от отрок, и возми себе все оружие его. И не восхоте Асаил уклонитися от него.
And he said to him Abner turn aside for yourself to right your or to left your and seize for yourself one from the young men and take for yourself spoils his and not he was willing Asahel to turn aside from after him.
22 И приложи еще Авенир глаголати ко Асаилу: отступи от мене, да не поражу тя о землю: и како явлю лице мое ко Иоаву?
And he repeated again Abner to say to Asahel turn aside for yourself from after me why? will I strike you [the] ground towards and how? will I lift up face my to Joab brother your.
23 И где суть сия? Возвратися ко Иоаву брату твоему. И не хотяше отступити. И удари его Авенир копием созади в лядвия: и пройде копие сквозе его, и паде тамо и умре пред ним: и бысть всяк приходяй до места, идеже паде Асаил и умре, и остановляшеся.
And he refused to turn aside and he struck him Abner with [the] back end of the spear into the belly and it went out the spear from behind him and he fell there and he died (in place his *Q(K)*) and it was every [one] who came to the place where he fell there Asahel and he died and they stood still.
24 И погнаша Иоав и Авесса вслед Авенира, и солнце заходяше: и тии приидоша даже до холма Амма, иже есть пред лицем Гаи, путь пустыни Гаваони.
And they pursued Joab and Abishai after Abner and the sun it set and they they came to [the] hill of Ammah which [is] on [the] face of Giah [the] way of [the] wilderness of Gibeon.
25 И собрашася сынове Вениаминовы за Авениром и быша в снитии единем, и сташа на версе холма единаго.
And they gathered together [the] descendants of Benjamin behind Abner and they became a band one and they stood on [the] top of a hill one.
26 И воззва Авенир ко Иоаву и рече: еда в победу пояст мечь? Или не веси, яко горька будут последняя? И доколе не речеши людем возвратитися созади братий наших?
And he called out Abner to Joab and he said ¿ to perpetuity will it devour [the] sword ¿ not do you know? that bitter it will be at the last and until when? not will you say to the people to turn back from after brothers their.
27 И рече Иоав: жив Господь, яко, аще бы не рекл еси, тогда от утра бы людие мои престали гоняще кийждо вслед брата своего.
And he said Joab [by] [the] life of God if if not you had spoken for then from the morning it had abandoned pursuit the people each from after brother his.
28 И воструби Иоав трубою, и сташа вси людие, и не погнаша вслед Израилтян, и не приложиша ктому ратовати.
And he gave a blast Joab on the trumpet and they stood all the people and not they pursued again after Israel and not they repeated again to wage war.
29 Авенир же и мужие его идоша на запад всю нощь ону, и преидоша Иордан, и проидоша всю страну ту, и приидоша в Полк.
And Abner and men his they went in the Arabah all the night that and they passed over the Jordan and they went all Bitron and they came Mahanaim.
30 И Иоав возвратися вспять от Авенира, и собра вся люди, и исчислиша отрок Давидовых (падших) девятьнадесять мужей, и Асаила.
And Joab he returned from after Abner and he gathered all the people and they were missed of [the] servants of David nine-teen man and Asah-el.
31 Отроцы же Давидовы убиша сынов Вениаминих мужей Авенировых триста и шестьдесят мужей.
And [the] servants of David they had struck down of Benjamin and among [the] men of Abner three hundred and sixty man they had died.
32 И взяша Асаила, и погребоша его во гробе отца его в Вифлееме. И иде Иоав и мужие его с ним всю нощь, и осветоша в Хевроне.
And people lifted up Asahel and they buried him in [the] tomb of father his which [was] Beth-lehem and they went all the night Joab and men his and it became light for them at Hebron.
