Второе послание Петра 1
1 Симон Петр, раб и посланник Иисус Христов, равночистную с нами получившими веру в правде Бога нашего и Спаса Иисуса Христа:
Simon Peter, slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained with us the same kind of faith in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
2 благодать вам и мир да умножится в познании Бога, и Христа Иисуса Господа нашего.
may grace and peace be multiplied to you through a real knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus,
3 Яко вся нам Божественныя силы Его, яже к животу и благочестию, подана разумом Призвавшаго нас славою и добродетелию.
in that His divine power has granted to us all things pertaining to life and godliness, through the real knowledge of the One who called us by glory and excellence,
4 Имиже честная нам и великая обетования даровашася, да сих ради будете Божественнаго причастницы естества, отбегше, яже в мире, похотныя тли:
through which He has granted to us such precious and extraordinary promises, so that through these you may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped the depravity that is in the world because of lust.
5 и в самое же сие, тщание все привнесше, подадите в вере вашей добродетель, в добродетели же разум,
So for this very reason, making every effort, to your faith add excellence, and to the excellence knowledge,
6 в разуме же воздержание, в воздержании же терпение, в терпении же благочестие,
and to the knowledge self-control, and to the self-control perseverance, and to the perseverance godliness,
7 во благочестии же братолюбие, в братолюбии же любовь.
and to the godliness brotherly affection, and to the brotherly affection love.
8 Сия бо сущая в вас и множащаяся, не праздных ниже безплодных сотворят вы в Господа нашего Иисуса Христа познание:
Because with these things existing and increasing in you, it makes you to be neither useless nor unfruitful in the real knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 емуже бо несть сих, слеп есть, мжай, забвение приемь очищения древних своих грехов.
For he who lacks these things is blind, being so myopic, having forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.
10 Темже паче, братие, потщитеся известно ваше звание и избрание творити: сия бо творяще, не имате согрешити никогдаже,
Therefore, brothers, you should be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.
11 сице бо обилно приподастся вам вход в вечное Царство Господа нашего и Спаса Иисуса Христа. (aiōnios g166)
Because in this way you will be granted the abundant entrance into the unending kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 Сего ради не обленюся воспоминати присно вам о сих, аще и ведите, и утверждени есте в настоящей истине.
So then, I will not neglect to keep reminding you about these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.
13 Праведно бо мню, донележе есмь в сем телеси, возставляти вас воспоминанием,
Yes, I think it right to stir you up by a reminder, as long as I am in this ‘tent’,
14 ведый, яко скоро есть отложение телесе моего, якоже и Господь наш Иисус Христос сказа мне.
knowing that the shedding of my ‘tent’ is imminent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
15 Потщуся же и всегда имети вас по моем исходе память о сих творити.
Moreover I will take pains to provide a reminder of these things for you to have, as needed, after my exit.
16 Не ухищренным бо баснем последовавше сказахом вам силу и пришествие Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, но самовидцы бывше величествия Онаго.
Now then, we did not follow craftily devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; rather we were attentive eyewitnesses of His majesty
17 Прием бо от Бога Отца честь и славу, гласу пришедшу к Нему от велелепныя славы. Сей есть Сын Мой возлюбленный, о Немже Аз благоизволих.
—because He received from God the Father honor and glory when that Voice was directed to Him by the Magnificent Glory, “This is my Son, the beloved, in whom I am always well pleased”—
18 И сей глас мы слышахом с небесе сшедшь, с Ним суще на горе святей.
yes, we heard this Voice being uttered from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19 И имамы известнейшее пророческое слово: емуже внимающе якоже светилу сияющу в темнем месте, добре творите, дондеже день озарит, и денница возсияет в сердцах ваших,
And so we have the most reliable prophetic Word, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;
20 сие прежде ведуще, яко всяко пророчество книжное по своему сказанию не бывает.
knowing this first, that no Prophecy of Scripture comes to be from private release;
21 Ни бо волею бысть когда человеком пророчество, но от Святаго Духа просвещаеми глаголаша святии Божии человецы.
for no Prophecy ever came by the will of man, rather holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
