Второе послание Петра 3

1 Сие уже, возлюбленнии, второе вам пишу послание, в нихже возбуждаю воспоминанием ваш чистый смысл,

Now this, my beloved, the second epistle I write to you; in both of which I awaken to remembrance your fair mind.

2 помянути прежде реченныя глаголы от святых пророк, и Апостол ваших заповедь Господа и Спаса:

That you may remember the words which were before spoken by the holy prophets, and the commandments of our Lord and our Saviour (delivered) by the apostles.

3 сие прежде ведяще, яко приидут в последния дни ругателе, по своих похотех ходяще

This first know you, that there will come in the last of the days deriders who will deride, as after their own lusts they walk,

4 и глаголюще: где есть обетование пришествия Его, отнележе бо отцы успоша, вся тако пребывают от начала создания.

and saying, Where is the promise of his advent? for, since our fathers have slept, every thing (abideth) as from the beginning of the creation.

5 Таится бо им сие хотящым, яко небеса беша исперва, и земля от воды и водою составлена, Божиим словом:

Unknown to them is this while they are willing, that the heaven was from of old, and the earth from the waters and through the waters subsisted, by the word of Aloha:

6 темже тогдашнии мир, водою потоплен быв, погибе.

those (waters) by which the world that then was, again (was covered) with waters, and perished.

7 А нынешняя небеса и земля темже Словом сокровена суть, огню блюдома на день суда и погибели нечестивых человек.

But the heaven which is now, and the earth, by his own word are set, being reserved unto fire, unto the day of judgment and the perdition of wicked men.

8 Едино же сие да не утаится вас, возлюбленнии, яко един день пред Господем яко тысяща лет, и тысяща лет яко день един.

But this one (truth) be not ignorant of, my beloved, That one day with the Lord (is) as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 Не коснит Господь обетования, якоже нецыи коснение мнят: но долготерпит на нас, не хотя да кто погибнет, но да вси в покаяние приидут.

Not dilatory is the Lord in his promises, as some consider delay; but is patient on your account, not willing that any man should perish, but (that) every man to repentance should come.

10 Приидет же день Господень яко тать в нощи, в оньже небеса убо с шумом мимо идут, стихии же сжигаемы разорятся, земля же и яже на ней дела сгорят.

But the day of the Lord cometh as a thief: that (day) in which the heavens suddenly shall pass away, but the elements burning be dissolved, and the earth and the works that are in it be found not.

11 Сим убо всем разоряемым, кацем подобает быти вам во святых пребываниих и благочестиих,

As, therefore, all these are to be dissolved, how behoveth it you to be holy in your conversation, and in the fear of Aloha;

12 чающым и скорее быти желающым пришествия Божияго дне, егоже ради небеса жегома разорятся, и стихии опаляемы растаются?

expecting and desiring the coming of the day of Aloha; that (day) in which the heavens, tried with fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements burning shall melt?

13 Нова же небесе и новы земли по обетованию Его чаем, в нихже правда живет.

But new heavens and earth, according to his promise, we expect; those wherein righteousness dwelleth.

14 Темже, возлюбленнии, сих чающе, потщитеся нескверни и непорочни Тому обрестися в мире,

Wherefore, my beloved, while these you expect, be diligent, that, without blemish and without spot, of Him you may be found in peace.

15 и Господа нашего долготерпение спасение непщуите, якоже и возлюбленный наш брат Павел по данней ему премудрости написа вам,

And the long-suffering of the Lord consider (to be for) salvation; as also our beloved brother Paulos according to the wisdom which hath been given to him hath written to you.

16 якоже и во всех своих посланиих, глаголя в них о сих: в нихже суть неудобь разумна некая, яже ненаучени и неутверждени развращают, якоже и прочая Писания, к своей погибели им.

As in all his epistles he speaks concerning these; in which there is somewhat difficult for intelligence. Those who are not knowing nor settled pervert them, as also the remaining scriptures, to their perdition.

17 Вы же убо, возлюбленнии, предведяще хранитеся, да не лестию беззаконных сведени бывше, отпадете своего утверждения.

You therefore, my beloved, knowing this before, keep yourselves, lest, going after the error of those who are lawless, you fall from your support.

18 Но да растете во благодати и разуме Господа нашего и Спаса Иисуса Христа. Тому слава и ныне и в день века. Аминь. (aiōn g165)

But increase in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and our Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, and (of) Aloha the Father, Whose be glory both now, and in all time, and to the days eternal. Amen. (aiōn g165)
