Первое послание Петра 5
1 Старцы иже в вас молю, яко старец сый и свидетель Христовым страстем, иже и хотящей славе явитися общник:
THE presbyters among you I exhort, who am a co-presbyter and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed:
2 пасите еже в вас стадо Божие, посещающе не нуждею, но волею и по Бозе, ниже неправедными прибытки, но усердно,
feed the flock of God which is among you, exercising your pastoral office not of necessity, but of choice, not for base gain, but with alacrity of mind;
3 ни яко обладающе причту, но образи бывайте стаду:
not as domineering over your allotted congregations, but as being examples of the flock.
4 и явльшуся Пастыреначальнику, приимете неувядаемый славы венец.
And when the arch Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that will never fade away.
5 Такоже юнии, повинитеся старцем: вси же друг другу повинующеся, смиреномудрие стяжите, зане Бог гордым противится, смиренным же дает благодать.
In like manner, ye who are younger persons, be in subjection to your elders: but all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed from head to foot with humility: for God sets himself in opposition to the proud, but he giveth grace to the lowly.
6 Смиритеся убо под крепкую руку Божию, да вы вознесет во время:
Humble yourselves therefore beneath the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due season:
7 всю печаль вашу возвергше Нань, яко Той печется о вас.
casting all your anxiety upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Трезвитеся, бодрствуйте, зане супостат ваш диавол, яко лев рыкая, ходит, иский кого поглотити:
Be sober, be vigilant; for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, prowleth around, seeking whom he may devour:
9 емуже противитеся тверди верою, ведуще, яко теже страсти случаются вашему братству, еже в мире.
against whom stand fast, firm in the faith, knowing that the very same sufferings are fully endured by the brotherhood which is in the world.
10 Бог же всякия благодати, призвавый вас в вечную Свою славу о Христе Иисусе, мало пострадавшыя, Той да совершит вы, да утвердит, да укрепит, да оснует. (aiōnios g166)
But the God of all grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, when ye have suffered a little while, himself perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (aiōnios g166)
To him be glory and might for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Силуаном вам верным братом, яко непщую, вмале написах, моля и засвидетельствуя сей быти истинней благодати Божией, в нейже стоите.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother as I think, I have written to you a few words, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye are standing fast.
13 Целует вы яже в Вавилоне соизбранная, и Марко сын мой.
She who is co-elect at Babylon, saluteth you, and my son Mark.
14 Целуйте друг друга лобзанием любве. Мир вам всем о Христе Иисусе. Аминь.
Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
