Первое послание Иоанна 1
1 Еже бе исперва, еже слышахом, еже видехом очима нашима, еже узрехом, и руки нашя осязаша, о Словеси животнем:
We declare to you that which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we watched, and our hands have touched, concerning the Word of life.
2 и живот явися, и видехом, и свидетелствуем, и возвещаем вам живот вечный, иже бе у Отца и явися нам: (aiōnios g166)
The life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you this eternal life which was with the Father and was revealed to us. (aiōnios g166)
3 еже видехом и слышахом, поведаем вам, да и вы общение имате с нами: общение же наше со Отцем и с Сыном Его Иисусом Христом.
That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you may also have fellowship with us. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4 И сия пишем вам, да радость ваша будет исполнена.
We write these things to you so that your joy may be full.
5 И сие есть обетование, еже слышахом от Него и поведаем вам, яко Бог свет есть, и тмы в Нем несть ни единыя.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 Аще речем, яко общение имамы с Ним, и во тме ходим, лжем и не творим истины:
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, but walk in darkness, we lie and don’t do what is true.
7 аще же во свете ходим, якоже Сам Той есть во свете, общение имамы друг ко другу, и Кровь Иисуса Христа Сына Его очищает нас от всякаго греха.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.
8 Аще речем, яко греха не имамы, себе прельщаем, и истины несть в нас.
If we say that we don’t sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth isn’t in us.
9 Аще исповедаем грехи нашя, верен есть и праведен да оставит нам грехи нашя и очестит нас от всякия неправды.
If we admit to our sins, He is faithful and with righteous justice forgives us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
10 Аще речем, яко не согрешихом, лжа творим Его, и слово Его несть в нас.
If we claim that we haven’t sinned, we call Him a liar, and His word isn’t in us.
