1 Mwari iye ataura kare nenzira dzakawanda kumadzibaba nevaporofita muzvikamu nezvikamu,
In many parts and many ways, God, having spoken long ago to the fathers by the prophets,
2 pamazuva awa ekupedzisira akataura kwatiri muMwanakomana, waakagadza mudyi wenhaka wezvinhu zvese, waakaitawo naye nyika, (aiōn )
in these last days speaks to us in [His] Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the ages; (aiōn )
3 iye ari kupenya kwekubwinya, nemufananidzo chaiwo wekuvapo kwake, uye achitakura zvinhu zvese neshoko resimba rake, wakati aita kubudikidza naiye pachake kunatswa kwezvivi zvedu, akagara pasi kuruoko rwerudyi rweuMambo huri kunzvimbo dzekumusoro,
who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also all things by the saying of His might—having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness in the highest,
4 apfuudzwa vatumwa zvikuru pakunaka, sezvo akange awana nhaka yezita gurusa kupfuura ivo.
having become so much better than the messengers, as He inherited a more excellent name than them.
5 Nokuti ndekune upi wevatumwa kwaakamboti: Ndiwe Mwanakomana wangu, nhasi ini ndakubereka? Uyezve: Ini ndichava kwaari Baba, uye iye achava Mwanakomana kwandiri?
For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son—today I have begotten You?” And again, “I will be to Him for a Father, and He will be to Me for a Son?”
6 Uye kana achiuisazve dangwe panyika anoti: Nevatumwa vese vaMwari ngavamunamate.
And when again He may bring the firstborn into the world, He says, “And let them worship Him—all messengers of God”;
7 Nekuvatumwa zvirokwazvo anoti: Iye anoita vatumwa vake mweya, nevaranda vake murazvo wemoto;
and to the messengers, indeed, He says, “The [One] who is making His messengers spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire”;
8 asi kuMwanakomana anoti: Chigaro chenyu cheushe, Mwari, chiripo nekusingaperi-peri, tsvimbo yekururama itsvimbo yeushe hwenyu. (aiōn )
but to the Son: “Your throne, O God, [is] throughout the age of the age; The scepter of righteousness [is the] scepter of Your kingdom; (aiōn )
9 Makada kururama, ndokuvenga kuipa; naizvozvo Mwari, iye Mwari wenyu, wakakuzodzai nemafuta emufaro kupfuura vamwe venyu.
You loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness; Because of this He anointed You—God, Your God—With oil of gladness above Your partners”;
10 Uye kuti: Imwi Ishe, pakutanga makateya nheyo dzenyika, nematenga mabasa emaoko enyu;
and, “You, LORD, founded the earth at the beginning, And the heavens are a work of Your hands.
11 izvo zvichaparara, asi imwi mucharamba muripo; uye zvese zvichasakara senguvo;
These will perish, but You remain, And all will become old as a garment,
12 uye sechifukidzo muchazvipeta, uye zvichashandurwa; asi imwi makangodaro, nemakore enyu haangagumi.
And You will roll them together as a mantle, and they will be changed, But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.”
13 Asi ndekune upi wevatumwa kwaakambotaura achiti: Gara kuruoko rwangu rwerudyi, kusvikira ndaita vavengi vako chitsiko chetsoka dzako?
And to which of the messengers did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand, Until I may make Your enemies Your footstool?”
14 Ko havasi vese mweya inoshumira yakatumwa kuzoshumira nekuda kwevachazodya nhaka yeruponeso here?
Are they not all spirits of service—being sent forth for ministry because of those about to inherit salvation?
