1 “Kumutumwa wekereke iri muEfeso nyora kuti: Aya ndiwo mashoko aiye akabata nyeredzi nomwe muruoko rwake rworudyi anofamba pakati pezvigadziko zvinomwe zvemwenje.
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: 'The words of the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands,
2 Ndinoziva mabasa ako, kubata kwako nesimba uye nokutsungirira kwako. Ndinoziva kuti haudi kuonana navanhu vakaipa, uye kuti wakaedza avo vanozviti vapostori asi vasiri ivo, uye ukavawana vari venhema.
“I know what you have done and your hard labor and your patient endurance. I know that you cannot tolerate the evil people. I know that you have tested those who say they are apostles, but are not, and that you have found them to be false.
3 Wakatsungirira ukava nomwoyo murefu pakutambudzika nokuda kwezita rangu, uye ukasaneta.
I know you have patient endurance, and you have suffered much because of my name, and that you have not grown weary.
4 Asi ndine mhosva iyi newe: Wakasiya rudo rwako rwokutanga.
But I have against you the fact that you have left behind your first love.
5 Rangarira pawakawa! Tendeuka uite zvinhu zvawakanga uchiita pakutanga. Kana usingatendeuki, ndichauya kwauri ndigobvisa chigadziko chako chomwenje panzvimbo yacho.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen. Repent and do the things you did at first. Unless you repent, I will come to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place.
6 Asi chinhu ichi unacho: Unovenga mabasa avaNikoraiti, andinovenga neniwo.
But you have this: You hate what the Nicolaitans have done, which I also hate.
7 Ane nzeve dzokunzwa ngaanzwe zvinoreva Mweya kukereke. Kuno uyo anokunda, ndichamutendera kuti adye zvinobva pamuti woupenyu, uri muparadhiso yaMwari.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”'”
8 “Kumutumwa wekereke iri muSimina nyora kuti: Aya ndiwo mashoko aiye Wokutanga neWokupedzisira, akafa uye akararamazve.
“To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: 'The words of the one who is the first and the last, the one who was dead and who became alive again:
9 Ndinoziva kutambudzika kwako nourombo hwako, asi uri mupfumi! Ndinoziva kutuka kwaavo vanozviti vaJudha uye vasiri ivo, asi vari vesinagoge raSatani.
“I know your sufferings and your poverty, but you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews, but they are not. They are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Usatya izvo zvava kuda kuzokutambudza. Ndinoti kwauri, dhiabhori achaisa vamwe venyu mutorongo kuti akuedzei, uye muchatambudzwa kwamazuva gumi. Ivai vakatendeka, kunyange kusvika pakufa, uye ini ndichakupai korona youpenyu.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look! The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you will be tested, and you will suffer for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 Ane nzeve dzokunzwa, ngaanzwe zvinoreva Mweya kukereke. Anokunda haazokuvadzwi norufu rwechipiri.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.”'”
12 “Kumutumwa wekereke iri muPegamo nyora kuti: Aya ndiwo mashoko aiye ano munondo unopinza, unocheka kumativi ose.
“To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: 'The words of the one who has the sword with two sharp edges:
13 Ndinoziva paunogara, pachigaro choushe chaSatani. Asi wakaramba wakatendeka kuzita rangu. Hauna kuramba kutenda kwako kwandiri, kunyange mumazuva aAndipasi, chapupu changu chakatendeka, uyo akaurayiwa muguta renyu, munogara Satani.
“I know where you live, there where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold on tightly to my name. I know that you did not deny your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, there where Satan lives.
14 Kunyange zvakadaro, ndine zvinhu zvishoma zvandinovenga pauri: Una vanhu ipapo vanobatisisa dzidziso yaBharamu, uyo akadzidzisa Bharaki kuti anyengere vaIsraeri kuti vatadze vachidya zvokudya zvakabayirwa kuzvifananidzo uye nokuita upombwe.
But I have a few things against you: You have there some who hold tightly to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and be sexually immoral.
15 Saizvozvowo, una vamwe vanobatirira kudzidziso yavaNikoraiti.
In the same way, you even have some who hold tightly to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16 Naizvozvo, tendeuka! Zvikasadaro, ndichakurumidza kuuya kuzovarwisa nomunondo womuromo wangu.
Repent, therefore! If you do not, I will quickly come to you, and I will wage war against them with the sword in my mouth.
17 Ane nzeve dzokunzwa, ngaanzwe zvinoreva Mweya kukereke. Kuno uyo anokunda, ndichamupa imwe mana yakavanzika. Ndichamupawo ibwe jena rine zita idzva rakanyorwa pariri, rinongozivikanwa naiye anorigamuchira.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone with a new name written on the stone, a name which no one knows but the one who receives it.”'”
18 “Kumutumwa wekereke iri muTiatira nyora kuti: Aya ndiwo mashoko oMwanakomana waMwari, ane meso anenge murazvo womoto uye ane tsoka dzinopenya sendarira.
“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: 'These are the words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like polished bronze:
19 Ndinoziva mabasa ako, rudo rwako nokutenda kwako, kushumira kwako uye nokutsungirira kwako, uye kuti iye zvino uri kuita zvinopfuura zvawakaita pakutanga.
“I know what you have done: your love and faith and service and your patient endurance. I know that what you have done recently is more than you did at first.
20 Kunyange zvakadaro, ndine mhosva iyi newe: Uri kutendera mukadzi uya Jezebheri, anozviti muprofitakadzi. Nokudzidzisa kwake anotsausa varanda vangu kuti vaite upombwe uye kuti vadye zvakabayirwa kuzvifananidzo.
But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
21 Ndakamupa nguva yokutendeuka paupombwe hwake, asi haana kutendeuka.
I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her immorality.
22 Saka ndichamuisa panhoo yokutambudzika, uye ndichaita kuti vaya vaiita upombwe naye vatambudzike zvikuru, kana vakasatendeuka munzira dzavo.
Look! I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great suffering, unless they repent of her deeds.
23 Ndicharova vana vake norufu. Ipapo kereke dzose dzichaziva kuti ndini iye anonzvera mwoyo nendangariro, uye ndichatsiva mumwe nomumwe wenyu zvinoenderana namabasa ake.
I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches thoughts and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 Zvino ndinoti kwamuri mose imi muri paTiatira, kunemi vasingabatiriri padzidziso yake uye vasina kudzidza zvinonzi zvakavanzika zvaSatani (handichazoisi mimwe mitoro pamusoro penyu):
But to the rest of you in Thyatira, to everyone who does not hold this teaching, and does not know what some call the deep things of Satan—to you I say, 'I do not put any other burden on you.'
25 Batisisai chete icho chamunacho kusvikira ndauya.
In any case, you must hold on tightly until I come.
26 Kuno uya anokunda uye achiita kuda kwangu kusvikira pakuguma, ndichamupa simba pamusoro pendudzi:
The one who conquers and who does what I have done until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 ‘Achavatonga netsvimbo yesimbi; achavaputsa-putsa sezvaenga zvehari’, sokugamuchira kwandakaita simba kubva kuna Baba vangu.
'He will rule them with an iron rod, like clay jars he will break them into pieces.'
28 Ndichamupawo nyeredzi yamangwanani.
Just as I have received from my Father, I will also give him the morning star.
29 Ane nzeve dzokunzwa ngaanzwe, zvinoreva Mweya kukereke.
