< Mapisarema 94 >
1 Haiwa Jehovha, imi Mwari anotsiva, haiwa Mwari iyemi munotsiva, penyai.
God of vengeance—YHWH! God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Simukai, imi Mutongi wenyika; tsivai vanozvikudza zvakavafanira.
Be lifted up, judging the earth, Send back a repayment on the proud.
3 Haiwa Jehovha, vakaipa vachasvika riniko, vachasvika riniko vakaipa vachingofara?
Until when do the wicked, O YHWH—Until when do the wicked exult?
4 Vanodurura mashoko okuzvikudza; vose vanoita zvakaipa vazere nokuzvirumbidza.
They utter—they speak arrogance, All working iniquity boast [about] themselves.
5 Vanopwanya vanhu venyu, imi Jehovha, vanodzvinyirira nhaka yenyu.
Your people, O YHWH, they bruise, And they afflict Your inheritance.
6 Vanouraya chirikadzi nomweni; vanoponda nherera.
They slay widow and sojourner, And they murder fatherless ones.
7 Vanoti, “Jehovha haaoni; Mwari waJakobho haana hanya.”
And they say, “YAH does not see, And the God of Jacob does not consider.”
8 Nzwisisai, imi vasina njere pakati pavanhu; imi mapenzi, muchava vakachenjera riniko?
Consider, you brutish among the people, And you foolish, when do you act wisely?
9 Ko, iye akasima nzeve, haanganzwi here? Iye akaumba ziso haangaoni here?
He who plants the ear, does He not hear? He who forms the eye, does He not see?
10 Ko, iye anoranga ndudzi haangarangi here? Anodzidzisa vanhu angashayiwa zivo here?
He who is instructing nations, does He not reprove? He who is teaching man knowledge [is] YHWH.
11 Jehovha anoziva mirangariro yavanhu; anoziva kuti haina maturo.
He knows the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity.
12 Akaropafadzwa munhu anorangwa nemi, iyemi Jehovha, munhu wamunodzidzisa pamurayiro wenyu;
O the blessedness of the man Whom You instruct, O YAH, And teach him out of Your law,
13 munomuzorodza pamazuva enhamo, kusvikira akaipa achererwa gomba.
To give rest to him from days of evil, While a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 Nokuti Jehovha haangarambi vanhu vake; haangambosiyi nhaka yake.
For YHWH does not leave His people, And does not forsake His inheritance.
15 Kururamisira kuchawanikwa nokuda kwevakarurama, uye vose vakarurama pamwoyo vachakutevera.
For judgment turns back to righteousness, And after it all the upright of heart.
16 Ndianiko achandirwira pane vakaipa? Ndianiko achandibatsira pavaiti vezvakaipa?
Who rises up for me with evildoers? Who stations himself for me with workers of iniquity?
17 Dai Jehovha asina kundibatsira, ndingadai ndakakurumidza kugara parunyararo rworufu.
Unless YHWH [were] a help to me, My soul had almost inhabited silence.
18 Pandakati, “Rutsoka rwangu rwotedzemuka,” rudo rwenyu, imi Jehovha, rwakanditsigira.
If I have said, “My foot has slipped,” Your kindness, O YHWH, supports me.
19 Pandakava nokufunganya kukuru mandiri, kunyaradza kwenyu kwakandivigira mufaro kumweya wangu.
In the abundance of my thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
20 Ko, chigaro choushe chino uori chingashamwaridzana nemi here, icho chinouyisa kutambudzika muzvirevo zvacho?
Is a throne of mischief joined [with] You? A framer of perverseness by statute?
21 Vanobatana pamwe chete kuti varwise vakarurama, vachipomera mhosva yorufu kuna vasina mhosva.
They decree against the soul of the righteous, And declare innocent blood wicked.
22 Asi Jehovha ndiye ava nhare yangu, uye Mwari wangu ndiye dombo randinotizira.
And YHWH is for a high place to me, And my God [is] for a rock—my refuge,
23 Achavatsiva nokuda kwezvivi zvavo, uye achavaparadza nokuda kwezvakaipa zvavo; Jehovha Mwari wedu achavaparadza.
And He turns back their iniquity on them, And in their wickedness cuts them off; Our God YHWH cuts them off!
