1 Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Paakaita seanopenga pamberi paAbhimereki; uyo akamudzinga, iye akaenda hake. Ndinorumbidza Jehovha nguva dzose; kurumbidzwa kwake kucharamba kuri pamiromo yangu.

6 Murombo uyu akadana, uye Jehovha akamunzwa; akamuponesa pakutambudzika kwake kwose.
Here is one who was crushed, but cried and was heard by the Lord, and brought safe out of every trouble.
7 Mutumwa waJehovha anokomberedza avo vanomutya, uye anovasunungura.
The Lord’s angel encamps about those who fear him, and rescues them.
8 Ravirai henyu muone kuti Jehovha akanaka; akaropafadzwa munhu anovanda maari.
O taste and see that the Lord is good, happy those who take refuge in him.
9 Ityai Jehovha, imi vatsvene vake, nokuti vanomutya havana chavanoshayiwa.
Fear the Lord, all his people, for they who fear him lack nothing.
10 Shumba dzinopera simba uye dzinofa nenzara, asi avo vanotsvaka Jehovha havashayiwi chinhu chakanaka.
Even young lions may be poor and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
11 Uyai, vana vangu, nditeererei; ndichakudzidzisai kutya Jehovha.
Come, children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Ani naani wenyu anoda upenyu, uye uchida kuona mazuva akawanda,
Which of you is desirous of life, loves many and happy days?
13 dzora rurimi rwako pane zvakaipa nemiromo yako pakureva nhema.
Then guard your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Ibva pane zvakaipa ugoita zvakanaka; tsvaka rugare uye urutevere.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 Meso aJehovha ari pamusoro pavakarurama uye nzeve dzake dzinonzwa kuchema kwavo;
The eyes of the Lord are towards the righteous, his ears are towards their cry for help.
16 chiso chaJehovha chinovenga avo vanoita zvakaipa, kuti abvise chiyeuchidzo chavo panyika.
The Lord sets his face against those who do evil, to root their memory out of the earth.
17 Vakarurama vanodanidzira, uye Jehovha anovanzwa; anovarwira pakutambudzika kwavo kwose.
When righteous cry, they are heard by the Lord, and he saves them from all their distresses.
18 Jehovha ari pedyo navane mwoyo yakaputsika uye anoponesa avo vakapwanyika pamweya.
The Lord is near to the broken-hearted, he helps those whose spirit is crushed.
19 Akarurama angava namatambudziko mazhinji, asi Jehovha anomurwira paari ose;
Many misfortunes befall the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all.
20 anochengetedza mapfupa ake ose, hakuna nerimwe rawo richavhunika.
He guards all their bones, none are broken.
21 Zvakaipa zvichauraya vakaipa; vavengi vavakarurama vachapiwa mhosva.
Misfortune will slay the ungodly; those who hate the righteous are doomed.
22 Jehovha anodzikinura varanda vake; hapana kana mumwe anovanda maari achapiwa mhosva.
The Lord ransoms the life of his servants, and none will be doomed who takes refuge in him.
