1 Rumbidzai Jehovha. Rumbidzai Mwari munzvimbo yake tsvene; murumbidzei mumatenga esimba rake.

Praise ye the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his glorious firmament!

2 Murumbidzei nokuda kwamabasa ake esimba; murumbidzei nokuda kwoukuru hwake hunokunda zvose.

Praise him for his mighty deeds! Praise him according to his excellent greatness!

3 Murumbidzei nenzwi rehwamanda, murumbidzei nembira nomutengeranwa.

Praise him with the sound of trumpets! Praise him with the psaltery and harp!

4 Murumbidzei nematambureni muchitamba, murumbidzei norudimbwa nenyere.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance! Praise him with stringed instruments and pipes!

5 Murumbidzei namakandira anorira, murumbidzei namakandira anorira kwazvo.

Praise him with the clear-sounding cymbals! Praise him with the high-sounding cymbals!

6 Zvinhu zvose zvinofema, ngazvirumbidze Jehovha. Rumbidzai Jehovha.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD! Praise ye the LORD!
