1 Pisarema rokurumbidza, raDhavhidhi. Ndichakukudzai, Mwari wangu Mambo; ndicharumbidza zita renyu nokusingaperi-peri.
A Psalm of Praise. David’s. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and will bless thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond:
2 Ndichakurumbidzai mazuva ose, uye ndichakudza zita renyu nokusingaperi-peri.
Every day, will I bless thee, and praise thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond.
3 Jehovha mukuru uye akafanira kurumbidzwa; ukuru hwake hahunganzverwi nomunhu.
Great is Yahweh—and worthy to be heartily praised, And, his greatness, is unsearchable.
4 Rumwe rudzi rucharumbidza mabasa enyu kuno rumwe; vachareva zvamabasa enyu esimba.
Generation unto generation, shall celebrate thy works, and, thy mighty deeds, shall they tell:
5 Vachataura nezvokunaka kwokubwinya kwoumambo hwenyu, uye ndichafungisisa pamusoro pemabasa enyu anoshamisa.
The splendour of the glory of thy majesty, shall they speak, and, thy wonders, will I utter.
6 Vanhu vachataura nezvesimba ramabasa enyu anotyisa, uye ndichaparidza mabasa enyu makuru.
And, the might of thy terrible acts, shall men speak, and, as for thy greatness, I will recount it.
7 Vachapemberera kuwanda kwokunaka kwenyu, uye vachaimba nomufaro pamusoro pokururama kwenyu.
The memory of thy great goodness, shall men pour forth, and, thy righteousness, shall they shout aloud.
8 Jehovha ane nyasha uye ane tsitsi, anononoka kutsamwa uye azere norudo.
Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh, —slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.
9 Jehovha akanaka kuna vose; uye ane nyasha pamusoro pezvose zvaakaita.
Good is Yahweh to all, and, his tender compassions, are over all his works.
10 Zvose zvamakaita zvichakurumbidzai, imi Jehovha; vatsvene venyu vachakukudzai.
All thy works, O Yahweh, will give thanks unto thee, —and, thy men of lovingkindness, will bless thee:
11 Vachataura nezvokubwinya kwoumambo hwenyu, uye vachataura nezvesimba renyu,
The glory of thy kingdom, will they tell, —and, thy power, will they speak.
12 kuitira kuti vanhu vose vazive nezvamabasa enyu makuru, nokunaka kwokubwinya kwoumambo hwenyu.
To make known to the sons of men, his mighty deeds, and the splendid glory of his kingdom.
13 Umambo hwenyu umambo hwokusingaperi, uye ushe hwenyu hunogara kusvikira kuzvizvarwa zvose. Jehovha akatendeka pavimbiso dzake dzose, uye ane rudo kuzvinhu zvose zvaakaita.
Thy kingdom, is a kingdom of all ages, —and, thy dominion, is over generation after generation.
14 Jehovha anotsigira vose vanowa, uye anosimudza vose vakakotamiswa pasi.
Yahweh is ready to uphold all who are falling, and to raise all who are laid prostrate.
15 Meso avose anotarira kwamuri, uye munovapa zvokudya zvavo nenguva yakafanira.
The eyes of all, for thee, do wait, and, thou, givest them their food in its season.
16 Munozarura ruoko rwenyu, uye munogutsa zvisikwa zvipenyu zvose nezvazvinoda.
Thou, openest thy hand, and fillest every living thing with gladness.
17 Jehovha akarurama panzira dzake dzose, uye ane rudo kuzvinhu zvose zvaakaita.
Righteous is Yahweh in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
18 Jehovha ari pedyo navose vanodana kwaari, kuna vose vanodana kwaari muchokwadi.
Near is Yahweh to all who call upon him, —to all them who call upon him in faithfulness.
19 Anozadzisa zvido zvaavo vanomutya; anonzwa kuchema kwavo uye anovaponesa.
The desire of them who revere him, will he fulfil, and, their cry, will he hear, and will save them.
20 Jehovha anochengeta vose vanomuda, asi achaparadza vakaipa vose.
Yahweh preserveth all who love him, but, all the lawless, will he destroy.
21 Muromo wangu uchataura kurumbidzwa kwaJehovha. Zvisikwa zvose ngazvirumbidze zita rake dzvene nokusingaperi-peri.
The praise of Yahweh, my mouth shall speak, That all flesh may bless his holy Name, Unto times age-abiding and beyond.
