Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done, —in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:
7 Anoita kuti makore akwire kubva kumagumo enyika; anotumira mheni nemvura, uye anobudisa mhepo kubva mumatura ake.
Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, —Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.
8 Ndiye akaparadza matangwe eIjipiti, matangwe avanhu neemhuka.

11 Sihoni mambo weAmori, Ogi mambo weBhashani namadzimambo ose eKenani,
Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12 akapa nyika yavo kuti ive nhaka, nhaka yavanhu vake Israeri.
And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.

The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:
16 Zvine miromo, asi hazvigoni kutaura, zvina meso, asi hazvigoni kuona;
A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
17 nenzeve, asi hazvigoni kunzwa, uye hamuna kufema mumuromo mazvo.
Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose, —there is no breath in their mouth.
18 Vaya vanozviita vachafanana nazvo, saizvozvowo, naivo vanovimba nazvo.
