1 Vakaropafadzwa avo vane nzira isina chaingapomerwa, vanofamba mumurayiro waJehovha.
Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.
2 Vakaropafadzwa avo vanochengeta zvaakatema, vanomutsvaka nomwoyo wavo wose.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.
3 Havaiti chinhu chakaipa; vanofamba munzira yake.
Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.
4 Imi makaisa zvirevo zvinofanira kuteererwa.
Thou hast commanded [us] thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently.
5 Haiwa, dai nzira dzangu dzakasimba pakuteerera zvirevo zvenyu!
Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!
6 Ipapo handaizonyadziswa pandinorangarira mirayiro yenyu.
Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 Ndichakurumbidzai nomwoyo wakarurama, sezvo ndichidzidza mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart, When I learn thy righteous judgments.
8 Ndichateerera mitemo yenyu; regai kundirasa zvachose.
I will observe thy statutes: Oh forsake me not utterly.
9 Ko, jaya ringanatsa nzira yaro nei? Nokurarama sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed [thereto] according to thy word.
10 Ndinokutsvakai nomwoyo wangu wose; musandirega ndichitsauka pamirayiro yenyu.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: Oh let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Shoko renyu ndakariviga mumwoyo mangu, kuti ndirege kukutadzirai.
Thy word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.
12 Imi munofanira kukudzwa, Jehovha; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
Blessed art thou, O Jehovah: Teach me thy statutes.
13 Nemiromo yangu ndichataurazve mirayiro yose inobva pamuromo wenyu.
With my lips have I declared All the ordinances of thy mouth.
14 Ndinofarira kutevera zvirevo zvenyu, somunhu anofarira pfuma huru.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.
15 Ndinofungisisa zvirevo zvenyu, uye ndinorangarira nzira dzenyu.
I will meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.
16 Ndinofarira mitemo yenyu; handingakanganwi shoko renyu.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Itirai muranda wenyu zvakanaka, ndigorarama; ndichateerera shoko renyu.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live; So will I observe thy word.
18 Ndisvinudzei meso angu kuti ndione. Zvinhu zvinoshamisa zviri pamurayiro wenyu.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold Wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Ndiri mutorwa panyika; regai kundivanzira mirayiro yenyu.
I am a sojourner in the earth: Hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Mweya wangu wapedzwa nokushuva mitemo yenyu nguva dzose.
My soul breaketh for the longing That it hath unto thine ordinances at all times.
21 Munotsiura vanozvikudza, avo vakatukwa, uye vanotsauka kubva pamirayiro yenyu.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, That do wander from thy commandments.
22 Bvisai kwandiri kushorwa nokuzvidzwa, nokuti ndinochengeta zvirevo zvenyu.
Take away from me reproach and contempt; For I have kept thy testimonies.
23 Kunyange vatongi vachigara pamwe chete vachindireva, muranda wenyu achafungisisa mitemo yenyu.
Princes also sat and talked against me; [But] thy servant did meditate on thy statutes.
24 Ndinofadzwa nezvirevo zvenyu; ndizvo zvinondipanga mazano.
Thy testimonies also are my delight [And] my counsellors.
25 Ndakaradzikwa pasi muguruva; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
My soul cleaveth unto the dust: Quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Ndakarevazve nzira dzangu imi mukandipindura; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
I declared my ways, and thou answeredst me: Teach me thy statutes.
27 Itai kuti ndinzwisise zvirevo zvenyu; ipapo ndichafungisisa pamusoro pezvishamiso zvenyu.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: So shall I meditate on thy wondrous works.
28 Mweya wangu waziya nokusuwa; ndisimbisei sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
My soul melteth for heaviness: Strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
29 Ndibvisei panzira dzokunyengera; ndinzwirei nyasha kubudikidza nomurayiro wenyu.
Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.
30 Ndakasarudza nzira yechokwadi; ndakaisa mwoyo wangu pamurayiro wenyu.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness: Thine ordinances have I set [before me].
31 Haiwa Jehovha, ini ndichabatirira pazvirevo zvenyu; musandirega ndichinyadziswa.
I cleave unto thy testimonies: O Jehovah, put me not to shame.
32 Ndinomhanya munzira yomurayiro wenyu, nokuti makasunungura mwoyo wangu.
I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 Ndidzidzisei, imi Jehovha, kutevera mitemo yenyu; ipapo ndichaichengeta kusvikira kumagumo.
Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.
34 Ndipei kunzwisisa, ndigochengeta murayiro wenyu uye ndigouteerera nomwoyo wangu wose.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Nditungamirirei munzira yemirayiro yenyu, nokuti imomo ndinowana mufaro.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; For therein do I delight.
36 Dzorerai mwoyo wangu pane zvamakatema kwete pakuchiva kwenyama.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, And not to covetousness.
37 Dzorai meso angu pazvinhu zvisina maturo; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, And quicken me in thy ways.
38 Zadzisai zvamakapikira muranda wenyu, kuti mugotyiwa.
Confirm unto thy servant thy word, Which [is in order] unto the fear of thee.
39 Bvisai kunyadziswa kwandaitya, nokuti mitemo yenyu yakanaka.
Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; For thine ordinances are good.
40 Ndinoshuva zvirevo zvenyu sei! Chengetedzai upenyu hwangu mukururama kwenyu.
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Rudo rwenyu rusingaperi ngaruuye kwandiri, Jehovha, noruponeso rwenyu sezvamakavimbisa;
Let thy lovingkindnesses also come unto me, O Jehovah, Even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 ipapo ndichapindura vanondishora, nokuti ndinovimba neshoko renyu.
So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy word.
43 Regai kubvisa shoko rechokwadi pamuromo pangu, nokuti ndakaisa tariro yangu mumurayiro wenyu.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.
44 Ndichagara ndichiteerera murayiro wenyu, nokusingaperi-peri.
So shall I observe thy law continually For ever and ever.
45 Ndichafamba-famba ndakasununguka, nokuti ndakatsvaka zvirevo zvenyu.
And I shall walk at liberty; For I have sought thy precepts.
46 Ndichataura zvamakatema pamberi pamadzimambo, uye handinganyadziswi,
I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be put to shame.
47 nokuti ndinofarira mirayiro yenyu nokuti ndinoida.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.
48 Ndinosimudzira maoko angu kumirayiro yenyu yandinoda, uye ndinofungisisa zvirevo zvenyu.
I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Rangarirai shoko renyu kumuranda wenyu, nokuti makandipa tariro.
Remember the word unto thy servant, Because thou hast made me to hope.
50 Zvinondinyaradza pakutambura kwangu ndezvizvi: Vimbiso yenyu inochengetedza upenyu hwangu.
This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.
51 Vanozvikudza vanondiseka vasingaregi, asi ini handitsauki pamurayiro wenyu.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: [Yet] have I not swerved from thy law.
52 Ndinorangarira mirayiro yenyu yekare, imi Jehovha, uye ndinonyaradzwa mairi.
I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, And have comforted myself.
53 Shungu dzinondibata nokuda kwavakaipa, vakasiya murayiro wenyu.
Hot indignation hath taken hold upon me, Because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Mitemo yenyu ndiro dingindira rorwiyo rwangu pose pandinogara.
Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Haiwa, Jehovha, ndinorangarira zita renyu usiku, uye ndichachengeta murayiro wenyu.
I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, And have observed thy law.
56 Aya ndiwo anga ari maitiro angu: Ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu.
This I have had, Because I have kept thy precepts.
57 Haiwa, Jehovha, ndimi mugove wangu; ndakavimbisa kuteerera mashoko enyu.
Jehovah is my portion: I have said that I would observe thy words.
58 Ndakatsvaka chiso chenyu nomwoyo wangu wose; ndinzwirei nyasha sezvamakavimbisa.
I entreated thy favor with my whole heart: Be merciful unto me according to thy word.
59 Ndakacherechedza nzira dzangu ndikadzorera tsoka dzangu kune zvamakatema.
I thought on my ways, And turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 Ndichakurumidza uye handinganonoki kuteerera mirayiro yenyu.
I made haste, and delayed not, To observe thy commandments.
61 Kunyange vakaipa vakandisunga namabote, handizokanganwi murayiro wenyu.
The cords of the wicked have wrapped me round; [But] I have not forgotten thy law.
62 Ndinomuka pakati pousiku ndichikuvongai nokuda kwemirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee Because of thy righteous ordinances.
63 Ndiri shamwari yavose vanokutyai, nokuna vose vanotevera zvirevo zvenyu.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, And of them that observe thy precepts.
64 Haiwa Jehovha, nyika izere norudo rwenyu, ndidzidzisei zvirevo zvenyu.
The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy lovingkindness: Teach me thy statutes.
65 Makaitira muranda wenyu zvakanaka, imi Jehovha, sezvakafanira shoko renyu.
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.
66 Ndidzidzisei zivo nokutonga kwakanaka, nokuti ndakatenda mirayiro yenyu.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge; For I have believed in thy commandments.
67 Pandakanga ndisati ndatambudzika, ndakatsauka, asi zvino ndinoteerera shoko renyu.
Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.
68 Imi makanaka, uye munoita zvakanaka; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.
69 Kunyange vanozvikudza vakandipomera nhema, ndinochengeta zvamakatema nomwoyo wangu wose.
The proud have forged a lie against me: With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.
70 Mwoyo yavo yakasindimara uye hainzwisisi, asi ndinofarira murayiro wenyu.
Their heart is as fat as grease; But I delight in thy law.
71 Zvakanga zvakanaka kuti nditambudzike, kuitira kuti ndigodzidza mitemo yenyu.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I may learn thy statutes.
72 Murayiro unobva pamuromo wenyu unokosha kwandiri, kupfuura zviuru zvezvimedu zvesirivha negoridhe.
The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Maoko enyu akandisika uye akandiumba; ndipei kunzwisisa kuti ndigodzidza mirayiro yenyu.
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Avo vanokutyai ngavafare pavanondiona, nokuti ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
They that fear thee shall see me and be glad, Because I have hoped in thy word.
75 Haiwa Jehovha, ndinoziva kuti mirayiro yenyu yakarurama, uye kuti makanditambudza mukutendeka kwenyu.
I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
76 Rudo rwenyu rusingaperi ngarutinyaradze, maererano nechivimbiso chenyu kumuranda wenyu.
Let, I pray thee, thy lovingkindness be for my comfort, According to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Tsitsi dzenyu ngadziuye kwandiri kuti ndirarame, nokuti murayiro wenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; For thy law is my delight.
78 Vanozvikudza ngavanyadziswe pakundikanganisira ndisina mhaka, asi ini ndichafungisisa zvirevo zvenyu.
Let the proud be put to shame; for they have overthrown me wrongfully: [But] I will meditate on thy precepts.
79 Vanokutyai ngavadzokere kwandiri, ivo vanonzwisisa zvamakatema.
Let those that fear thee turn unto me; And they shall know thy testimonies.
80 Mwoyo wangu ngaushaye chaungapomerwa pamitemo yenyu, kuti ndirege kunyadziswa.
Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I be not put to shame.
81 Mweya wangu unoziya nokuda kwekushuva ruponeso rwenyu, asi ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation; [But] I hope in thy word.
82 Meso angu aneta nokutsvaga chivimbiso chenyu; ndinoti, “Muchandinyaradza riniko?”
Mine eyes fail for thy word, While I say, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Kunyange ndakaita sehomwe yewaini ndiri muutsi, handikanganwi mitemo yenyu.
For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; Yet do I not forget thy statutes.
84 Muranda wenyu acharindira kusvikira riniko? Mucharanga vatambudzi vangu riniko?
How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 Vanozvikudza vakandicherera makomba, zvinopesana nomurayiro wenyu.
The proud have digged pits for me, Who are not according to thy law.
86 Mirayiro yenyu yose yakavimbika, ndibatsirei, nokuti vanhu vanonditambudza ndisina mhaka.
All thy commandments are faithful: They persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
87 Vakanga voda kundibvisa panyika, asi handina kusiya zvamakatema.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; But I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Chengetedzai upenyu hwangu zvakafanira rudo rwenyu, uye ini ndichateerera zvirevo zvomuromo wenyu.
Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; So shall I observe the testimony of thy mouth.
89 Haiwa Jehovha, shoko renyu rinogara nokusingaperi; rinomira rakasimba kudenga denga.
For ever, O Jehovah, Thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Kutendeka kwenyu kunoramba kuripo kusvikira kuzvizvarwa zvose; makasimbisa nyika uye inogara nokusingaperi.
Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 Mirayiro yenyu iripo kusvikira iye nhasi, nokuti zvinhu zvose zvinokushumirai.
They abide this day according to thine ordinances; For all things are thy servants.
92 Dai murayiro wenyu wanga usiri mufaro wangu, ndingadai ndakafira mumatambudziko angu.
Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
93 Handichazokanganwi zvamakatema, nokuti nazvo makachengetedza upenyu hwangu.
I will never forget thy precepts; For with them thou hast quickened me.
94 Ndiponesei, nokuti ndiri wenyu; ndakatsvaka zvamakatema.
I am thine, save me; For I have sought thy precepts.
95 Vakaipa vakarindira kundiparadza, asi ini ndichafunga zvirevo zvenyu.
The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me; [But] I will consider thy testimonies.
96 Ndinoona kuguma kwezvose zvakakwana, asi mirayiro yenyu haina magumo.
I have seen an end of all perfection; [But] thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 Haiwa, ndinoda murayiro wenyu sei! Ndinoufungisisa zuva rose.
Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
98 Mirayiro yenyu inoita kuti ndive akachenjera kupfuura vavengi vangu, nokuti inogara neni nguva dzose.
Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me.
99 Ndinonzwisisa zvakawanda kupfuura vadzidzisi vangu, nokuti ndinofungisisa pamusoro pezvamakatema.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Ndinonzwisisa zvikuru kupfuura vakuru, nokuti ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu.
I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.
101 Ndakadzora tsoka dzangu panzira dzose dzakaipa kuti nditeerere shoko renyu.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, That I might observe thy word.
102 Handina kubva pamirayiro yenyu, nokuti imi pachenyu makandidzidzisa.
I have not turned aside from thine ordinances; For thou hast taught me.
103 Mashoko enyu anotapira seiko pakuaravira, anotapira kukunda uchi mumukanwa mangu!
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [Yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
104 Ndinowana kunzwisisa kubva pazvirevo zvenyu; naizvozvo ndinovenga nzira dzose dzakaipa.
Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way.
105 Shoko renyu ndiwo mwenje wetsoka dzangu, nechiedza chenzira yangu.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
106 Ndakaita mhiko ndikaisimbisa, kuti ndichatevera mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, That I will observe thy righteous ordinances.
107 Ndakatambudzika kwazvo; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu, imi Jehovha, zvakafanira shoko renyu.
I am afflicted very much: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.
108 Haiwa Jehovha, gamuchirai henyu kurumbidza kwomuromo wangu, mugondidzidzisa mirayiro yenyu.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, And teach me thine ordinances.
109 Kunyange ndichiramba ndakabata upenyu hwangu mumaoko angu, handizokanganwi murayiro wenyu.
My soul is continually in my hand; Yet do I not forget thy law.
110 Vakaipa vakanditeya nomusungo, asi handina kutsauka pazvirevo zvenyu.
The wicked have laid a snare for me; Yet have I not gone astray from thy precepts.
111 Zvirevo zvenyu inhaka yangu nokusingaperi; ndizvo mufaro womwoyo wangu.
Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 Mwoyo wangu wakagarira kuchengeta zvirevo zvenyu, kusvikira kumagumo.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes For ever, even unto the end.
113 Ndinovenga vanhu vane mwoyo miviri, asi ndinoda murayiro wenyu.
I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.
114 Imi muri utiziro hwangu nenhoo yangu; ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
115 Ibvai kwandiri, imi vaiti vezvakaipa, kuti ndichengete mirayiro yaMwari wangu!
Depart from me, ye evil-doers, That I may keep the commandments of my God.
116 Nditsigirei sezvamakavimbisa, ipapo ndichararama; musarega tariro yangu ichidzimwa.
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Nditsigirei, ipapo ndicharwirwa; ndicharamba ndine hanya nemitemo yenyu.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, And shall have respect unto thy statutes continually.
118 Munoramba vose vanotsauka pamitemo yenyu, nokuti kunyengera kwavo hakuna maturo.
Thou hast set at nought all them that err from thy statutes; For their deceit is falsehood.
119 Vakaipa vose venyika munovaita sengura; naizvozvo ndinoda zvamakatema.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: Therefore I love thy testimonies.
120 Nyama yangu inodedera nokuda kwokukutyai; ndinomira ndichitya mirayiro yenyu.
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Ndakaita zvakarurama nokururamisira; musandisiya mumaoko avadzvinyiriri vangu.
I have done justice and righteousness: Leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 Itai kuti muranda wenyu agare zvakanaka; musarega vanozvikudza vachimudzvinyirira.
Be surety for thy servant for good: Let not the proud oppress me.
123 Meso angu aneta nokutsvaka ruponeso rwenyu, ndichitsvaga vimbiso yenyu yakarurama.
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, And for thy righteous word.
124 Itirai muranda wenyu zvinoringana norudo rwenyu, uye ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
Deal with thy servant according unto thy lovingkindness, And teach me thy statutes.
125 Ndiri muranda wenyu; ndipeiwo kunzvera kuti ndigonzwisisa zvamakatema.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thy testimonies.
126 Haiwa Jehovha, inguva yenyu yokubata; murayiro wenyu uri kuputswa.
It is time for Jehovah to work; [For] they have made void thy law.
127 Nokuti ndinoda mirayiro yenyu kupfuura goridhe, kupfuura goridhe rakanatswa,
Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold, yea, above fine gold.
128 uye nokuti ndinoti zvirevo zvenyu zvose zvakarurama, ndinovenga nzira dzose dzakaipa.
Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts concerning all [things] to be right; [And] I hate every false way.
129 Zvirevo zvenyu zvinoshamisa; naizvozvo ndinozviteerera.
Thy testimonies are wonderful; Therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 Kuzarurwa kweshoko renyu kunopa chiedza; kunopa kunzwisisa kuna vasina mano.
The opening of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 Ndinoshamisa muromo wangu ndigodokwaira, ndichishuva mirayiro yenyu.
I opened wide my mouth, and panted; For I longed for thy commandments.
132 Dzokerai kwandiri mugondinzwira ngoni, sezvamunogara muchiita kuna avo vanoda zita renyu.
Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me, As thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
133 Rayirai nhambwe dzetsoka dzangu zviri maererano neshoko renyu; chivi ngachirege kunditonga.
Establish my footsteps in thy word; And let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Ndidzikinurei pakudzvinyirira kwavanhu, kuti ndigoteerera zvirevo zvenyu.
Redeem me from the oppression of man: So will I observe thy precepts.
135 Chiso chenyu ngachipenye pamusoro pomuranda wenyu, uye ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; And teach me thy statutes.
136 Hova dzemisodzi dzinoerera dzichibva mumeso angu, nokuti murayiro wenyu hausi kuteererwa.
Streams of water run down mine eyes, Because they observe not thy law.
137 Haiwa Jehovha, imi makarurama, uye mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, And upright are thy judgments.
138 Zvirevo zvenyu zvamakadzika zvakarurama; zvakavimbika kwazvo.
Thou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness And very faithfulness.
139 Kushingaira kwangu kunondipedza, nokuti vavengi vangu havana hanya namashoko enyu.
My zeal hath consumed me, Because mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.
140 Vimbiso dzenyu dzakaedzwa chose, uye muranda wenyu anodzida.
Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 Kunyange ndakaderedzwa uye ndichizvidzwa hangu, handikanganwi zvirevo zvenyu.
I am small and despised; [Yet] do I not forget thy precepts.
142 Kururama kwenyu kunogara nokusingaperi, uye murayiro wenyu ndowezvokwadi.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.
143 Nhamo namatambudziko zviri pamusoro pangu, asi mirayiro yenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me; [Yet] thy commandments are my delight.
144 Zvirevo zvenyu zvinogara zvakarurama; ndipeiwo kunzwisisa kuti ndirarame.
Thy testimonies are righteous for ever: Give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 Ndinodana nomwoyo wangu wose; haiwa Jehovha ndipindureiwo, uye ndichateerera mitemo yenyu.
I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will keep thy statutes.
146 Ndinodanidzira kwamuri, ndiponesei uye ndichachengeta zvamakatema.
I have called unto thee; save me, And I shall observe thy testimonies.
147 Ndinomuka mambakwedza asati asvika ndigochemera kubatsirwa; ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.
148 Meso angu anogara akasvinura panguva dzose dzousiku, kuti ndifungisise pamusoro pevimbiso dzenyu.
Mine eyes anticipated the night-watches, That I might meditate on thy word.
149 Inzwai inzwi rangu sezvakafanira rudo rwenyu; haiwa Jehovha, chengetedzai upenyu hwangu zviri maererano nemirayiro yenyu.
Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thine ordinances.
150 Vanoita mano akaipa vari pedyo, asi vari kure nomurayiro wenyu.
They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; They are far from thy law.
151 Asi imi muri pedyo, Jehovha, uye mirayiro yenyu yose ndeyezvokwadi.
Thou art nigh, O Jehovah; And all thy commandments are truth.
152 Ndakadzidza pane zvamakatema kare, kuti makazvisimbisa kuti zvigare nokusingaperi.
Of old have I known from thy testimonies, That thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Tarirai kutambudzika kwangu mugondirwira, nokuti handina kukanganwa murayiro wenyu.
Consider mine affliction, and deliver me; For I do not forget thy law.
154 Miririrai mhosva yangu uye mundidzikinure; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu maererano nevimbiso yenyu.
Plead thou my cause, and redeem me: Quicken me according to thy word.
155 Ruponeso rwuri kure navakaipa, nokuti havatsvaki mitemo yenyu.
Salvation is far from the wicked; For they seek not thy statutes.
156 Haiwa Jehovha, tsitsi dzenyu ihuru; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu maererano nemirayiro yenyu.
Great are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah: Quicken me according to thine ordinances.
157 Vavengi vangu navanonditambudza vazhinji, asi handina kutsauka pane zvamakatema.
Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; [Yet] have I not swerved from thy testimonies.
158 Ndinotarira kuna vasingatendi ndichisema, nokuti havateereri shoko renyu.
I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved, Because they observe not thy word.
159 Tarirai madiro andinoita zvirevo zvenyu; haiwa Jehovha, chengetedzai upenyu hwangu, maererano norudo rwenyu.
Consider how I love thy precepts: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thy lovingkindness.
160 Mashoko enyu ose ndeechokwadi; mirayiro yenyu yose yakarurama ndeyokusingaperi.
The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances [endureth] for ever.
161 Vatongi vanonditambudza ndisina mhaka, asi mwoyo wangu unodedera pashoko renyu.
Princes have persecuted me without a cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy words.
162 Ndinofarira vimbiso yenyu kufanana nouyo anowana zvakapambwa zvizhinji.
I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.
163 Ndinovenga uye ndinosema nhema, asi ndinoda murayiro wenyu.
I hate and abhor falsehood; [But] thy law do I love.
164 Ndinokurumbidzai kanomwe pazuva, nokuda kwemirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
Seven times a day do I praise thee, Because of thy righteous ordinances.
165 Vanoda murayiro wenyu vano rugare rukuru, uye hakuna chingavagumbusa.
Great peace have they that love thy law; And they have no occasion of stumbling.
166 Haiwa Jehovha, ndakamirira ruponeso rwenyu, uye ndinotevera mirayiro yenyu.
I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, And have done thy commandments.
167 Ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu, nokuti ndinozvida zvikuru.
My soul hath observed thy testimonies; And I love them exceedingly.
168 Ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu nezvamakatema, nokuti nzira dzangu dzose dzinozivikanwa nemi.
I have observed thy precepts and thy testimonies; For all my ways are before thee.
169 Dai kuchema kwangu kwasvika pamberi penyu, imi Jehovha; ndipeiwo kunzwisisa maererano neshoko renyu.
Let my cry come near before thee, O Jehovah: Give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Kukumbira kwangu dai kwasvika pamberi penyu; ndirwirei maererano nevimbiso yenyu.
Let my supplication come before thee: Deliver me according to thy word.
171 Miromo yangu dai yafashukira nerumbidzo, nokuti munondidzidzisa mitemo yenyu.
Let my lips utter praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.
172 Rurimi rwangu dai rwaimba nezveshoko renyu, nokuti mirayiro yenyu yose yakarurama.
Let my tongue sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are righteousness.
173 Ruoko rwenyu dai rwagadzirira kundibatsira, nokuti ndakasarudza zvirevo zvenyu.
Let thy hand be ready to help me; For I have chosen thy precepts.
174 Haiwa Jehovha, ndinoshuva ruponeso rwenyu, uye murayiro wenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah; And thy law is my delight.
175 Regai ndirarame kuti ndigokurumbidzai, uye dai mirayiro yenyu yandibatsira.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; And let thine ordinances help me.
176 Ndakatsauka segwai rakarasika. Tsvakai muranda wenyu, nokuti handina kukanganwa mirayiro yenyu.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; For I do not forget thy commandments.
