1 Vongai Jehovha, nokuti akanaka; rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.
O give thanks unto YHWH; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Israeri ngaati, “Rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.”
Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Imba yaAroni ngaiti, “Rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.”
Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Avo vanotya Jehovha ngavati, “Rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.”
Let them now that fear YHWH say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 Mukurwadziwa kwangu ndakadana kuna Jehovha, uye akandipindura nokundisunungura.
I called upon YAH in distress: YAH answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 Jehovha aneni; handingatyi. Munhu angandiiteiko?
YHWH is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 Jehovha aneni; ndiye mubatsiri wangu. Ndichatarira vavengi vangu nokukunda.
YHWH taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 Zviri nani kutizira kuna Jehovha pano kuvimba nomunhu.
It is better to trust in YHWH than to put confidence in man.
9 Zviri nani kutizira kuna Jehovha pano kuvimba namachinda.
It is better to trust in YHWH than to put confidence in princes.
10 Ndudzi dzose dzakandikomba, asi ndakavaparadza muzita raJehovha.
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of YHWH will I destroy them.
11 Vakandikomba pamativi ose, asi ndakavaparadza muzita raJehovha.
They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of YHWH I will destroy them.
12 Vakandimomotera senyuchi, asi vakakurumidza kufa seminzwa inotsva, ndakavaparadza muzita raJehovha.
They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of YHWH I will destroy them.
13 Ndakasundidzirwa shure uye ndikada kuwa, asi Jehovha akandibatsira.
Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but YHWH helped me.
14 Jehovha ndiye simba rangu norwiyo rwangu; ndiye ava ruponeso rwangu.
YAH is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 Kupembera kwomufaro nokukunda kunonzwika mumatende avakarurama kuchiti: “Ruoko rworudyi rwaJehovha rwakaita zvinhu zvikuru!
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of YHWH doeth valiantly.
16 Ruoko rworudyi rwaJehovha rwakasimudzirwa kumusoro; ruoko rworudyi rwaJehovha rwakaita zvinhu zvikuru!”
The right hand of YHWH is exalted: the right hand of YHWH doeth valiantly.
17 Handingafi asi ndichararama, uye ndichaparidza zvakaitwa naJehovha.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of YAH.
18 Jehovha akandiranga kwazvo, asi haana kundiisa kurufu.
YAH hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Ndizarurireiwo masuo okururama; ndichapinda ndigovonga Jehovha.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise YHWH:
20 Iri ndiro suo raJehovha panopinda navakarurama.
This gate of YHWH, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 Ndichakuvongai, nokuti makandipindura; makava ruponeso rwangu.
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 Dombo rakarambwa navavaki ndiro rakazova musoro wekona;
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 Jehovha akaita izvi, uye zvinoshamisa pamberi pedu.
This is YHWH 's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 Iri ndiro zuva rakaitwa naJehovha; ngatifarei kwazvo tifarisise mariri.
This is the day which YHWH hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Haiwa Jehovha, tiponesei; haiwa Jehovha, tipeiwo kubudirira.
Save now, I beseech thee, O YHWH: O YHWH, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Akaropafadzwa uyo anouya muzita raJehovha. Tiri mumba maJehovha tinokuropafadzai.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of YHWH: we have blessed you out of the house of YHWH.
27 Jehovha ndiye Mwari, uye akaita kuti chiedza chake chivhenekere pamusoro pedu. Namatavi muruoko, pinda mumudungwe ubatane navamwe vari kuenda kunyanga dzearitari.
El is YHWH, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Imi muri Mwari wangu, uye ndichakuvongai; ndimi Mwari wangu, uye ndichakukudzai.
Thou art my El, and I will praise thee: thou art my Elohim, I will exalt thee.
29 Vongai Jehovha, nokuti akanaka; rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.
