< Mateo 13 >

1 Musi mumwe chetewo, Jesu akabuda mumba akandogara nechokugungwa.
That same day Jesus had left the house and was sitting on the shore of the Lake,
2 Vanhu vazhinji vakamuunganira zvokuti akapinda mugwa akagaramo, vanhu vose vakamira kumahombekombe.
when a vast multitude of people crowded round Him. He therefore went on board a boat and sat there, while all the people stood on the shore.
3 Ipapo akavaudza zvinhu zvizhinji nemifananidzo, achiti, “Murimi akabuda kundokusha mbeu dzake.
He then spoke many things to them in figurative language. "The sower goes out," He said, "to sow.
4 Paakanga achikusha mbeu, dzimwe dzakawira munzira, shiri dzikauya dzikadzidya.
As he sows, some of the seed falls by the way-side, and the birds come and peck it up.
5 Dzimwe dzakawira parukangarahwe, padzakashaya ivhu rakakwana. Dzakamera nokukurumidza nokuti ivhu rakanga risina kudzika.
Some falls on rocky ground, where it has but scanty soil. It quickly shows itself above ground, because it has no depth of earth;
6 Asi zuva rakati rabuda, mbeu dzakatsva dzikaoma nokuti dzakanga dzisina midzi.
but when the sun is risen, it is scorched by the heat, and through having no root it withers up.
7 Dzimwe mbeu dzakawira muminzwa, minzwa ikakura ikadzivhunga.
Some falls among the thorns; but the thorns spring up and stifle it.
8 Dzimwewo mbeu dzakawira pavhu rakanaka, dzikabereka zvakapetwa kazana, kana zvakapetwa makumi matanhatu kana makumi matatu pane dzainge dzakushwa.
But a portion falls upon good ground, and gives a return, some a hundred for one, some sixty, some thirty.
9 Uyo ane nzeve dzokunzwa ngaanzwe.”
Listen, every one who has ears!"
10 Vadzidzi vakauya kwaari vakasvikomubvunza vachiti, “Ko, munotaurirei kuvanhu nemifananidzo?”
(And His disciples came and asked Him, "Why do you speak to them in figurative language?"
11 Akapindura achiti, “Ruzivo rwezvakavanzika zvoumambo hwokudenga rwakapiwa kwamuri imi, asi kwete kwavari.
"Because," He replied, "while to you it is granted to know the secrets of the Kingdom of the Heavens, to them it is not.
12 Kune anazvo achapiwazve zvimwe, uye achava nezvakawanda. Asi ani naani asina kunyange nezvishoma zvaanazvo achazvitorerwa.
For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he shall have abundance; but whoever has not, from him even what he has shall be taken away.
13 Ndokusaka ndichitaura kwavari nemifananidzo: “Kunyange vachiona asi havaoni, kunyange vachinzwa asi havanzwi kana kunzwisisa.
I speak to them in figurative language for this reason, that while looking they do not see, and while hearing they neither hear nor understand.
14 Mavari munozadzisa chiprofita chaIsaya chinoti: “‘Muchangoramba muchinzwa asi musinganzwisisi; muchangoramba muchiona asi musingaonesesi.
And in regard to them the prophecy of Isaiah is receiving signal fulfilment: "'You will hear and hear and by no means understand, and you will look and look and by no means see.
15 Nokuti mwoyo yavanhu ava mikukutu, havatombonzwi nenzeve dzavo, uye vakatsinzina meso avo. Zvichida vangaona nameso avo, vakanzwa nenzeve dzavo, vakanzwisisa nemwoyo yavo, vakapinduka, uye ndikavaporesa.’
For this people's mind is stupefied, their hearing has become dull, and their eyes they have closed; to prevent their ever seeing with their eyes, or hearing with their ears, or understanding with their minds, and turning back, so that I might heal them.'
16 Asi akaropafadzwa meso enyu nokuti anoona nenzeve dzenyu nokuti dzinonzwa.
"But as for you, blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
17 Nokuti, ndinokuudzai chokwadi kuti vaprofita vazhinji navanhu vakarurama vaida kuona zvinhu zvamuri kuona asi havana kuzviona, nokunzwa zvamuri kunzwa asi havana kuzvinzwa.
For I solemnly tell you that many Prophets and holy men have longed to see the sights you see, and have not seen them, and to hear the words you hear, and have not heard them.
18 “Teererai zvino munzwe zvinorehwa nomufananidzo womukushi:
"To you then I will explain the parable of the Sower.
19 Kana munhu akanzwa shoko roumambo, akasarinzwisisa, akaipa anouya osvikobvuta zviya zvanga zvadyarwa mumwoyo make. Iyi ndiyo mbeu yakakushwa munzira.
When a man hears the Message concerning the Kingdom and does not understand it, the Evil one comes and catches away what has been sown in his heart. This is he who has received the seed by the road-side.
20 Uyo akagamuchira mbeu yakawira parukangarahwe, ndiye munhu anonzwa shoko, pakarepo origamuchira norufaro.
He who has received the seed on the rocky ground is the man who hears the Message and immediately receives it with joy.
21 Asi nokuti haana mudzi, anongorarama naro kwechinguva chipfupi. Kana nhamo kana kutambudzwa zvauya nokuda kweshoko, anokurumidza kugumburwa.
It has struck no root, however, within him. He continues for a time, but when suffering comes, or persecution, because of the Message, he at once stumbles and falls.
22 Uyo akagamuchira mbeu yakawira muminzwa, munhu anonzwa shoko asi kufunganya kwenyika nokunyengera kwepfuma zvinorivhunga robva rashaya zvibereko. (aiōn g165)
He who has received the seed among the thorns is the man who hears the Message, but the cares of the present age and the delusions of riches quite stifle the Message, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Asi uyo anogamuchira shoko rakawira muvhu rakanaka ndiye munhu anonzwa shoko orinzwisisa. Ndiye anobereka mbeu inoburitsa zana, kana makumi matanhatu kana makumi matatu ezvakakushwa.”
But he who has received the seed on good ground is he who hears and understands. Such hearers give a return, and yield one a hundred for one, another sixty, another thirty.")
24 Jesu akavaudza mumwe mufananidzo achiti, “Umambo hwokudenga hunofananidzwa nomunhu akakusha mbeu yakanaka mumunda make.
Another parable He put before them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "may be compared to a man who has sown good seed in his field,
25 Asi munhu wose avete, muvengi wake akauya akakusha sawi pakati pegorosi, ndokubva aenda.
but during the night his enemy comes, and over the first seed he sows darnel among the wheat, and goes away.
26 Asi kuzoti gorosi ramera rikatumbuka, ipapo sawi rakaonekwawo.
But when the blade shoots up and the grain is formed, then appears the darnel also.
27 “Varanda vomuridzi womunda vakauya kwaari vakasvikoti, ‘Ishe, hamuna kukusha mbeu yakanaka mumunda menyu here? Ko, zvino sawi rakazobvepi?’
"So the farmer's men come and ask him, "'Sir, was it not good seed that you sowed on your land? Where then does the darnel come from?'
28 “Akavapindura achiti, ‘Muvengi ndiye akaita izvi.’ “Varanda vakamubvunza vakati, ‘Munoda kuti tiende kunoridzura here?’
"'Some enemy has done this,' he said. "'Shall we go, and collect it?' the men inquire.
29 “Akapindura akati, ‘Kwete, nokuti paya pamunodzura sawi, mungazodzura pamwe chete nezviyo.
"'No,' he replied, 'for fear that while collecting the darnel you should at the same time root up the wheat with it.
30 Regai zvikurirane pamwe chete, tozozviona pakukohwa. Panguva iyoyo ndinozoudza vakohwi kuti: Tangai kuunganidza sawi murisunge muzvisote zvichazopiswa. Mushure mozounganidza gorosi mugoriisa mudura rangu.’”
Leave both to grow together until the harvest, and at harvest-time I will direct the reapers, Collect the darnel first, and make it up into bundles to burn it, but bring all the wheat into my barn.'"
31 Akavaudzazve mumwe mufananidzo achiti, “Umambo hwokudenga hwakafanana nembeu yemasitadhi iyo yakatorwa nomunhu akaidyara mumunda make.
Another parable He put before them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "is like a mustard-seed, which a man takes and sows in his ground.
32 Kunyange zvazvo iri iyo mbeu dukusa pambeu dzenyu, asi painokura ndiyo huru kwazvo pambeu dzose dzomubindu uye inova muti wokuti shiri dzedenga dzinouya dzichimhara pamapazi awo.”
It is the smallest of all seeds, and yet when full-grown it is larger than any herb and forms a tree, so that the birds come and build in its branches."
33 Akavaudzazve mumwe mufananidzo achiti, “Umambo hwokudenga hwakafanana nembiriso, iyo inotorwa nomunhukadzi oisanganisa nefurawa yakawanda, kusvikira yapinda muchikanyiwa chose.”
Another parable He spoke to them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "is like yeast which a woman takes and buries in a bushel of flour, for it to work there till the whole mass has risen."
34 Jesu akataura zvinhu izvi zvose kuvanhu nemifananidzo. Haana chaakataura kwavari asingashandisi mifananidzo.
All this Jesus spoke to the people in figurative language, and except in figurative language He spoke nothing to them,
35 Saizvozvo zvakazadziswa zvakanga zvataurwa kubudikidza nomuprofita zvichinzi: “Ndichataura nemifananidzo, ndichataura zvinhu zvakavanzika kubva pakusikwa kwenyika.”
in fulfilment of the saying of the Prophet, "I will open my mouth in figurative language, I will utter things kept hidden since the creation of all things."
36 Ipapo akasiya vanhu vazhinji akapinda mumba. Vadzidzi vake vakauya kwaari vakasvikoti, “Titsanangurirei zvinorehwa nomufananidzo wamasawi mumunda.”
When He had dismissed the people and had returned to the house, His disciples came to Him with the request, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel sown in the field."
37 Akapindura akati, “Uyo akadyara mbeu yakanaka ndiye Mwanakomana woMunhu.
"The sower of the good seed," He replied, "is the Son of Man;
38 Munda ndiyo nyika, uye mbeu yakanaka inomirira vanakomana voumambo. Masawi ndiwo vanakomana vowakaipa,
the field is the world; the good seed--these are the sons of the Kingdom; the darnel, the sons of the Evil one.
39 muvengi anoadyara ndiye dhiabhori. Kukohwa ndiko kuguma kwenyika, uye vakohwi ndivo vatumwa. (aiōn g165)
The enemy who sows the darnel is the Devil; the harvest is the Close of the Age; the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
40 “Sokudzurwa kunoitwa masawi achipiswa mumoto, ndizvo zvazvichaita pakuguma kwenyika. (aiōn g165)
As then the darnel is collected together and burnt up with fire, so will it be at the Close of the Age. (aiōn g165)
41 Mwanakomana woMunhu achatuma vatumwa vake uye vachadzura kubva muumambo hwake zvose zvinokonzera chivi navose vanoita zvakaipa.
The Son of Man will commission His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all causes of sin and all who violate His laws;
42 Vachavakanda muvira romoto umo muchava nokuchema nokurumanya kwameno.
and these they will throw into the fiery furnace. There will be the weeping aloud and the gnashing of teeth.
43 Ipapo vakarurama vachapenya sezuva vari muumambo hwaBaba vavo. Uyo ane nzeve dzokunzwa ngaanzwe.
Then will the righteous shine out like the sun in their Father's Kingdom. Listen, every one who has ears!
44 “Umambo hwokudenga hwakafanana nepfuma yakavigwa mumunda. Mumwe murume akati aiwana, akaivigazve, uye ipapo mukufara kwake, akaenda akandotengesa zvose zvaaiva nazvo ndokutenga munda iwoyo.
"The Kingdom of the Heavens is like treasure buried in the open country, which a man finds, but buries again, and, in his joy about it, goes and sells all he has and buys that piece of ground.
45 “Umambo hwokudenga hwakafananazve nomutengesi wezvinhu anotsvaka maparera akaisvonaka.
"Again the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a jewel merchant who is in quest of choice pearls.
46 Akati awana rimwe rawo rinokosha akaenda akandotengesa zvose zvaakanga anazvo uye akaritenga.
He finds one most costly pearl; he goes away; and though it costs all he has, he buys it.
47 “Zvakare umambo hwokudenga hwakafanana nousvasvi hwakakandwa mugungwa uye hukabata marudzi ose ehove.
"Again the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a draw-net let down into the sea, which encloses fish of all sorts.
48 Pahwakanga hwazara vabati vehove vakahukwevera kunze kumahombekombe. Ipapo vakagara pasi vakasarudza hove dzakanaka vakadziisa mumidziyo, asi dzakaipa vakadzirasa.
When full, they haul it up on the beach, and sit down and collect the good fish in baskets, while the worthless they throw away.
49 Izvi ndizvo zvazvichaita pakuguma kwenyika. Vatumwa vachauya vagotsaura vakaipa kubva kune vakarurama, (aiōn g165)
So will it be at the Close of the Age. The angels will go forth and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 uye vagovakanda muvira romoto, kuchava nokuchema nokurumanya kwameno.”
and will throw them into the fiery furnace. There will be the weeping aloud and the gnashing of teeth."
51 Jesu akabvunza akati, “Manzwisisa zvinhu izvi zvose here?” Vakapindura vakati, “Hongu.”
"Have you understood all this?" He asked. "Yes," they said.
52 Akati kwavari, “Naizvozvo mudzidzisi mumwe nomumwe womurayiro akadzidziswa nezvoumambo hwokudenga akafanana nomuridzi weimba anoburitsa pfuma itsva netsaru muimba yake yokuchengetera zvinhu.”
"Therefore," He said, "remember that every Scribe well trained for the Kingdom of the Heavens is like a householder who brings out of his storehouse new things and old."
53 Jesu akati apedza mifananidzo iyi, akabvapo.
Jesus concluded this series of parables and then departed.
54 Akapinda muguta rokwake akatanga kudzidzisa vanhu musinagoge ravo, uye vakashamiswa nazvo. Vakabvunza vachiti, “Murume uyu akawanepi uchenjeri uhu namasimba ezvishamiso aya?
And He came into His own country and proceeded to teach in their synagogue, so that they were filled with astonishment and exclaimed, "Where did he obtain such wisdom, and these wondrous powers?
55 Ko, haasi mwanakomana womuvezi here? Mai vake havasi Maria here, navanunʼuna vake havasi Jakobho, Josefa, Simoni naJudhasi?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers, James, Joseph, Simon and Judah?
56 Uye hanzvadzi dzake hadzisi pakati pedu dzose here? Ko, zvino murume uyu akawanepi zvinhu zvose izvi?”
And his sisters--are they not all living here among us? Where then did he get all this?"
57 Vakagumburwa naye. Asi Jesu akati kwavari, “Muprofita haashayiwi kukudzwa asi munyika yake nomumba make.”
So they turned angrily away from Him. But Jesus said to them, "There is no prophet left without honour except in his own country and among his own family."
58 Uye haana kuzoita zvishamiso zvizhinji imomo nokuda kwokusatenda kwavo.
And He performed but few mighty deeds there because of their want of faith.
