Mateo 11
1 Jesu akati apedza kurayira vadzidzi vake gumi navaviri, akabvapo akandodzidzisa nokuparidza mumaguta omuGarirea.
And it came to passe when Iesus had made an ende of comaundinge his. xii. disciples that he departed thence to teache and to preache in their cities.
2 Zvino Johani ari mutorongo, paakanzwa nezvamabasa aJesu, akabva atuma vadzidzi vake

3 kundobvunza vachiti, “Ko, ndimi iye akanzi achauya here, kana kuti totarisira mumwe?”
and sayde vnto him. Arte thou he that shall come: or shall we loke for another.
4 Jesu akavapindura achiti, “Dzokerai mundoudza Johani zvamuri kunzwa nezvamuri kuona:
Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. Go and shewe Ihon what ye have hearde and sene.
5 Mapofu ava kuona, zvirema zvava kufamba, vana maperembudzi vanoporeswa, matsi dzonzwa, vakafa vari kumutswa, uye kuti nhau dzakanaka dziri kuparidzirwa varombo.

6 Akaropafadzwa munhu asingagumburwi nokuda kwangu.”

And as they departed Iesus begane to speake vnto the people of Ihon. What for to se wet ye out in to the wyldernes? wet ye out to se a rede shake with ye wynde?
8 Kana zvisizvo, makabuda kundoonei? Maindoona murume akanga akapfeka nguo dzakanaka here? Kwete, avo vanopfeka nguo dzakanaka vari mumizinda yamadzimambo.

9 Zvino makabuda kundooneiko? Muprofita here? Hongu, ndinoti kwamuri anopfuura muprofita.

10 Iyeyu ndiye akanyorwa nezvake zvichinzi: “Ndinotuma nhume yangu mberi kwako uye achakugadzirira nzira yako mberi kwako.”
For this is he of who it is wrytte. Beholde I sende my messenger before thy face which shall prepare thy waye before ye.
11 Ndinokuudzai chokwadi kuti: Pavanhu vose vakaberekwa navakadzi, hapana mukuru kuna Johani Mubhabhatidzi. Asi mudukusa muushe hwokudenga mukuru kwaari.
Verely I saye vnto you amonge ye chyldren of wemen arose there not a gretter then Ihon the baptist. Notwithstondinge he that ys lesse in the kyngdome of heven ys gretter then he.

Also yf ye wyll receave it this is Helyas which shuld come.
15 Uyo ane nzeve dzokunzwa ngaanzwe.
He yt hathe eares to heare let him heare.
16 “Rudzi urwu ndingaruenzanisa nei? Vakafanana navana vari mumisika vari kudanidzira kuna vamwe vachiti:
But wher vnto shall I lyken this generacion? It ys lyke vnto chyldre which syt in the market and call vnto their felowes
17 “‘Takakuridzirai hwamanda, asi hamuna kutamba; takaimba rwiyo rworufu, uye hamuna kuchema.’
and saye: we have pyped vnto you and ye have not daunsed? We have morned vnto you and ye have not sorowed.
18 Nokuti Johani akanga asingadyi kana kunwa asi vakati, ‘Ane dhimoni.’
For Ihon came nether eatinge nor drinkinge and they saye he hath the devyll.
19 Mwanakomana woMunhu akanga achidya uye achinwa, zvino vanoti, ‘Houno wamakaro nomunwi, shamwari yavateresi na“vatadzi”.’ Asi uchenjeri hunozviratidza kuti hwakarurama namabasa ahwo.”

21 “Une nhamo iwe Korazini! Une nhamo iwe Bhetisaidha! Kudai zvishamiso zvakaitwa mauri zvainge zvakaitwa muTire neSidhoni vangadai vakatendeuka kare vakapfeka masaga uye vakazvizora dota.
Wo be to ye Chorasin. Wo be to ye Betzaida: for if the miracles which were shewd in you had bene done in Tyre and Sidon they had repented longe agone in sackcloth and asshes.
22 Asi ndinokuudzai kuti Tire neSidhoni zvicharerukirwa pazuva rokutongwa kupfuura imi.
Neverthelesse I say to you: it shall be esier for Tyre and Sidon at the day of iudgemet then for you.
23 Uye iwe Kapenaume, uchasimudzirwa kudenga here? Kwete, asi uchaiswa pakadzikadzika. Dai zvishamiso zvakaitwa mauri zvainge zvakaitwa muSodhomu, ringadai richiripo nanhasi. (Hadēs g86)

25 Panguva iyoyo Jesu akati, “Ndinokurumbidzai Baba, Ishe wedenga nenyika, nokuti makavanza zvinhu izvi kuna vakachenjera navakadzidza, uye mukazvizarurira kuvana vaduku.
At yt tyme Iesus answered and sayd: I prayse ye o father lorde of heve and erth because thou hast hid these thinges fro the wyse and prudet and hast opened the vnto babes:
26 Hongu, Baba nokuti izvi ndizvo zvakakufadzai.

27 “Zvinhu zvose zvakapiwa kwandiri naBaba vangu. Hakuna anoziva Mwanakomana kunze kwaBaba, uye hakuna anoziva Baba kunze kwoMwanakomana naavo chete Mwanakomana vaanenge asarudza kuti avazarurire.
All thinges are geve vnto me of my father. And noma knoweth ye sonne but ye father: nether knoweth eny ma ye father save ye sonne and he to whome ye sonne will ope him.
28 “Uyai kwandiri, imi mose makaneta makaremerwa, uye ndichakupai zororo.
Come vnto me all ye that laboure and are laden and I wyll ease you.
29 Takurai joko rangu, mudzidze kwandiri, nokuti ndiri munyoro uye ndine mwoyo unozvininipisa, uye muchawana zororo remweya yenyu.
Take my yoke on you and lerne of me for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynd rest vnto youre soules.
30 Nokuti joko rangu hariremi uye mutoro wangu wakareruka.”
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
