< Jeremia 33 >
1 Shoko raJehovha rakasvika kechipiri kuna Jeremia panguva yaakanga akapfigirwa muruvazhe rwavarindi richiti,
Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet confined in the court of the prison, saying,
2 “Zvanzi naJehovha, iye akaita nyika, naiye akaiumba uye akaisimbisa, Jehovha ndiro zita rake,
Thus saith the LORD the maker of this, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD [is] his name;
3 ‘Danai kwandiri uye ndichakupindurai uye ndichakuudzai zvinhu zvikuru zvakavanzika zvamusingazivi.’
Call to me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4 Nokuti zvanzi naJehovha, Mwari waIsraeri, pamusoro pedzimba dziri muguta rino uye nomuzinda wamadzimambo eJudha zvakakoromorerwa pasi kuti zvishandiswe pakuputsa mirwi yakakomba guta neminondo,
For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
5 mukurwisana navaBhabhironi, ‘Zvichazadzwa nezvitunha zvavanhu vandichauraya pakutsamwa kwangu nehasha dzangu. Ndichavanzira guta rino chiso changu nokuda kwokuipa kwaro kwose.
They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it is] to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in my anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6 “‘Kunyange zvakadaro hazvo, ndicharivigira utano nokurapwa; ndicharapa vanhu vangu uye ndichaita kuti vave norugare rwakawanda uye nokuchengetedzeka.
Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 Ndichabvisazve Judha neIsraeri norugare kubva kuutapwa ndivavakezve sepakutanga.
And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 Ndichavanatsa pachivi chose chavakanditadzira ndigovakanganwira zvivi zvavo zvose zvokundimukira.
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned, and by which they have transgressed against me.
9 Ipapo guta rino richandivigira mukurumbira, mufaro, kurumbidzwa nokukudzwa pamberi pendudzi dzose dzepanyika dzinonzwa zvakanaka zvose zvandinoriitira; dzichatya uye dzichadedera nokuda kwokukura kwokubudirira norugare rwandinoripa.’
And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure to it.
10 “Zvanzi naJehovha: ‘Munoti pamusoro penzvimbo ino, “Yaparara, haina vanhu vanogaramo kana mhuka dzinogaramo.” Asi mumaguta eJudha nomumigwagwa yeJerusarema makasiyiwa musina chinhu, musisagarwi navanhu kana nemhuka, muchanzwikwazve
Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say [shall be] desolate without man and without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
11 manzwi nomufaro nokufarisisa, namanzwi emwenga nechikomba, namanzwi avaya vanouya nezvipo zvokuvonga kuimba yaJehovha, vachiti, “‘“Vongai Jehovha Wamasimba Ose, nokuti Jehovha akanaka; rudo rwake runogara nokusingaperi.” Nokuti ndichadzosazve pfuma yenyika iyi sezvayaiva iri kare,’ ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha.
The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD [is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: [and] of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
12 “Zvanzi naJehovha Wamasimba Ose, ‘Munzvimbo ino, yakaparara uye isina vanhu kana mhuka, mumaguta ayo ose aripo muchava namafuro avafudzi okuvatisa makwai avo.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all its cities, shall be a habitation of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down.
13 Mumaguta enyika yezvikomo, neemujinga mezvikomo zvokumavirira neokuNegevhi, munyika yaBhenjamini, nomumisha yakapoteredza Jerusarema nomumaguta eJudha, makwai achapfuurazve napasi poruoko rwounoaverenga,’ ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha.
In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that counteth [them], saith the LORD.
14 “‘Mazuva anouya,’ ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha, andichazadzisa chivimbiso chenyasha chandakaita kuimba yaIsraeri nokuimba yaJudha.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 “‘Mumazuva iwayo uye nenguva iyoyo ndichameresa Davi rakarurama rinobva kurudzi rwaDhavhidhi; iye achatonga nyika nokururamisira uye nokururama.
In those days, and at that time, will I cause the branch of righteousness to grow up to David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 Mumazuva iwayo Judha achaponeswa, uye Jerusarema richagara rakachengetedzeka. Iri ndiro zita rarichatumidzwa: Jehovha Ndiye Kururama Kwedu.’
In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety: and this [is the name] by which she shall be called, JEHOVAH our righteousness.
17 Nokuti zvanzi naJehovha: ‘Dhavhidhi haangatongoshayiwi munhu angagara pachigaro choushe cheimba yaIsraeri,
For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Kana vaprista, vorudzi rwaRevhi, havangashayiwi munhu angamira pamberi pangu nguva dzose kuti apisire zvipiriso, apisire zvipiriso zvezviyo uye ape zvibayiro.’”
Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt-offerings, and to kindle meat-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 Shoko raJehovha rakasvika kuna Jeremia, richiti:
And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
20 “Zvanzi naJehovha: ‘Kana mukagona kuputsa sungano yangu namasikati uye nesungano yangu nousiku, zvokuti masikati nousiku zvirege kuvapo nenguva yakatarwa,
Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 ipapo sungano yangu naDhavhidhi muranda wangu, nesungano yangu navaRevhi avo vanova vaprista vanoshumira pamberi pangu, ingagona kuputsika uye Dhavhidhi haangazovizve nomwanakomana angatonga ari pachigaro chake choushe.
[Then] also may my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
22 Ndichawanza vana vomuranda wangu Dhavhidhi navaRevhi vanoshumira pamberi pangu zvokusaverengeka senyeredzi dzedenga uye zvokusagona kuyerwa sejecha regungwa.’”
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister to me.
23 Shoko raJehovha rakasvika kuna Jeremia, richiti,
Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
24 “Hauna kucherechedza here kuti vanhu ava vanoti, ‘Jehovha akaramba umambo hwose huri huviri hwaakanga asarudza’? Saka vari kushora vanhu vangu nokusavaona sorudzi.
Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Zvanzi naJehovha: ‘Kana ndikasasimbisa sungano yangu namasikati nousiku nemitemo yakatemwa yematenga napasi,
Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant [is] not with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 ipapo ndicharamba vana vaJakobho naDhavhidhi muranda wangu uye handingasarudzi mumwe wavanakomana vake kuti abate ushe pamusoro pavana vaAbhurahama, Isaka naJakobho. Nokuti ndichadzosa nhaka yavo uye ndichavanzwira tsitsi.’”
Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, [so] that I will not take [any] of his seed [to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
