< Isaya 63 >

1 Ndianiko uyu anobva kuEdhomu, anobva kuBhozira, ane nguo dzakatsvuka seropa? Ndianiko uyu, akafuka zvinobwinya, anofamba muukuru hwesimba rake? “Ndini ndinotaura nokururama, ndine simba rokuponesa.”
Who is this that is come from Edom, [with] red garments from Bosor? thus fair in his apparel, with mighty strength? I speak of righteousness and saving judgement.
2 Seiko nguo dzenyu dzakatsvuka sedzomunhu anotsika chisviniro chewaini?
Therefore are your garments red, and your raiment as [if fresh] from a trodden winepress?
3 “Ndakatsika chisviniro chewaini ndoga; kubva kundudzi dzose hapana akanga aneni. Ndakavatsika-tsika mukutsamwa kwangu uye ndakavapwanyira pasi muhasha dzangu; ropa ravo rikatsatikira panguo dzangu, ndikasvibisa nguo dzangu dzose.
I am full of trodden [grape], and of the nations there is not a man with me; and I trampled them in my fury, and dashed them to pieces as earth, and brought down their blood to the earth.
4 Nokuti zuva rokutsiva rakanga riri mumwoyo mangu, uye gore rokudzikinura kwangu rasvika.
For the day of recompence has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand.
5 Ndakatarisa, asi pakanga pasina angabatsira, ndakashamiswa nokuti hapana akatsigira; naizvozvo ruoko rwangu rwakandivigira ruponeso, uye hasha dzangu dzakanditsigira.
And I looked, and there was no helper; and I observed, and none upheld: therefore my arm delivered them, and mine anger drew near.
6 Ndakatsika-tsika ndudzi mukutsamwa kwangu; muhasha dzangu ndakaita kuti vadhakwe uye ndakadurura ropa ravo pasi.”
And I trampled them in mine anger, and brought down their blood to the earth.
7 Ndichataura nezvounyoro hwaJehovha, iwo mabasa aanofanira kukudzwa nawo, nokuda kwezvose zvatakaitirwa naJehovha, hongu, izvo zvinhu zvizhinji zvaakaitira imba yaIsraeri, nokuda kwetsitsi dzake uye nengoni dzake zhinji.
I remembered the mercy of the Lord, the praises of the Lord in all things wherein he recompenses us. The Lord is a good judge to the house of Israel; he deals with us according to his mercy, and according to the abundance of his righteousness.
8 Akati, “Zvirokwazvo ndivo vanhu vangu, ivo vanakomana vasingazovi venhema kwandiri,” naizvozvo akava Muponesi wavo.
And he said, Is it not my people? the children surely will not be rebellious: and he became to them deliverance
9 Mumatambudziko avo ose naiyewo akatambudzika, uye mutumwa wokuvapo kwake akavaponesa. Murudo rwake nengoni akavadzikinura; akavasimudza uye akavatakura mumazuva ose akare.
out of all their affliction: not an ambassador, nor a messenger, but himself saved them, because he loved them and spared them: he himself redeemed them, and took them up, and lifted them up all the days of old.
10 Asi vakamumukira vakachemedza Mweya wake Mutsvene. Saka akashanduka akava muvengi wavo, uye iye amene akarwa navo.
But they disobeyed, and provoked his Holy Spirit: so he turned to be an enemy, he himself contended against them.
11 Ipapo vanhu vake vakarangarira mazuva akare, mazuva aMozisi navanhu vake, vakati, aripiko akavayambutsa gungwa, nomufudzi wamakwai ake? Aripiko akaisa Mweya wake Mutsvene pakati pavo,
Then he remembered the ancient days, [saying], Where is he that brought up from the sea the shepherd of the sheep? where is he that put his Holy Spirit in them?
12 iye akavatumira ruoko rwake rwokukudzwa nesimba kuti ruve paruoko rworudyi rwaMozisi, iye akaparadzanisa mvura pamberi pavo, kuti azviwanire mukurumbira usingaperi,
who led Moses with his right hand, the arm of his glory? he forced the water [to separate] from before him, to make himself an everlasting name.
13 iye akavatungamirira nomakadzika? Sebhiza murenje, havana kugumburwa;
He led them through the deep, as a horse through the wilderness, and they fainted not,
14 semombe dzinoburukira kubani, vakapiwa zororo noMweya waJehovha. Ndiwo matungamiriro amakaita vanhu venyu kuti muzviitire zita rine mukurumbira.
and as cattle through a plain: the Spirit came down from the Lord, and guided them: thus you led your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
15 Tarirai pasi muri kudenga uye muone, kubva pachigaro chenyu chakakwirira chitsvene uye chinobwinya. Kushingaira kwenyu nesimba renyu zviripiko? Unyoro hwenyu netsitsi dzenyu zvakabviswa kwatiri.
Turn from heaven, and look from your holy habitation and [from] your glory: where is your zeal and your strength? where is the abundance of your mercy and of your compassions, that you have withholden yourself from us?
16 Asi muri Baba vedu, kunyange Abhurahama asingatizivi kana naIsraeri asingatiziviwo; imi, Jehovha, ndimi Baba vedu, Mudzikinuri wedu kubva kare ndiro zita renyu.
For you are our Father; for [though] Abraham knew us not, and Israel did not acknowledge us, yet do you, O Lord, our Father, deliver us: your name has been upon us from the beginning.
17 Haiwa Jehovha, munotiregereiko tichidzungaira, kubva panzira dzenyu muchiomesa mwoyo yedu kuti tirege kukutyai? Dzokai nokuda kwavaranda venyu, iwo marudzi enhaka yenyu.
Why have you caused us to err, O Lord, from your way? [and] has hardened our hearts, that we should not fear you? Return for your servants' sake, for the sake of the tribes of your inheritance,
18 Kwenguva duku vanhu venyu vakatora nzvimbo yenyu tsvene, asi zvino vavengi vedu vakatsika-tsika nzvimbo yenyu tsvene.
that we may inherit a small part of your holy mountain.
19 Isu tiri venyu kubva kare; asi ivo hamuna kumbovatonga, havana kumbodaidzwa nezita renyu.
We are become as at the beginning, when you did not rule over us, and your name was not called upon us.
