Therfor Joseph entride, and telde to Farao, and seide, My fadir and brethren, the scheep and grete beestis of hem, and alle thingis whiche thei welden, camen fro the lond of Canaan; and lo! thei stonden in the lond of Gessen.

5 Faro akati kuna Josefa, “Baba vako namadzikoma ako vauya kwauri,
And so the kyng seide to Joseph, Thi fadir and thi britheren camen to thee;
6 uye nyika yeIjipiti iri pamberi pako; garisa baba vako namadzikoma ako panzvimbo yakanakisisa munyika ino. Ngavagare muGosheni. Uye kana uchiziva kuti pakati pavo pane vamwe vane zvavanokwanisa kuita, uvaite kuti vave vatariri vezvipfuwo zvangu.”

10 Ipapo Jakobho akaropafadza Faro akabva pamberi pake.
And whanne he hadde blessid the kyng, he yede out.
11 Saka Josefa akagarisa baba vake namadzikoma ake munyika yeIjipiti uye akavapa nzvimbo mudunhu rakanakisisa munyika, dunhu reRamasesi, sokurayira kwaFaro.

12 Josefa akapa baba vake namadzikoma ake navose veimba yababa vake zvokudya, zvakaenzana nouwandu hwavana vavo.

13 Kunyange zvakadaro, kwakanga kusina zvokudya munyika yose nokuti nzara yakanga iri huru, nyika yeIjipiti nenyika yeKenani dzakaziya nokuda kwenzara.

To whiche he answeride, Brynge ye youre beestis, and Y schal yyue to you metis for tho, if ye han not prijs.
17 Saka vakauya nezvipfuwo zvavo kuna Josefa, uye akavapa zvokudya achitsinhanisa namabhiza avo, makwai nembudzi dzavo, mombe nembongoro dzavo. Uye akavabudisa mugore iro nezvokudya zvokutsinhana nezvipfuwo zvavo zvose.
And whanne thei hadden brouyt tho, he yaf to hem metis for horsis, and scheep, and oxun, and assis; and he susteynede hem in that yeer for the chaungyng of beestis.

20 Saka Josefa akatengera Faro nyika yose iri muIjipiti. VaIjipita vakatengesa, mumwe nomumwe munda wake, nokuti nzara yakanga iri huru kwazvo. Nyika yakava yaFaro,

21 uye Josefa akaita kuti vanhu vave varanda kubva kuna mamwe magumo eIjipiti kusvikira kuna mamwe.
and he made it and alle puplis therof suget to Farao, fro the laste termes of Egipt til to the laste endis therof,
22 Kunyange zvakadaro hazvo, haana kutenga nyika yavaprista, nokuti ivo vaigamuchira migove nguva dzose kubva kuna Faro uye vakanga vane zvokudya zvakakwana kubva pamugove wavaipiwa naFaro. Ndokusaka vasina kutengesa nyika yavo.

26 Saka Josefa akasimbisa izvi somurayiro pamusoro penyika muIjipiti, murayiro uyu uchiri kushanda nanhasi, kuti chikamu chimwe chete kubva muzvishanu chezvibereko ndechaFaro. Nyika yavaprista bedzi ndiyo yakanga isiri yaFaro.

28 Jakobho akagara muIjipiti kwamakore gumi namanomwe, uye akararama kwamakore zana namakumi mana namanomwe.
And he lyuede therynne sixtene yeer; and alle the daies of his lijf weren maad of an hundrid and seuene and fourti yeer.
29 Nguva yokufa kwaIsraeri yakati yaswedera, akadana mwanakomana wake Josefa uye akati kwaari, “Kana ndawana nyasha pamberi pako, isa ruoko rwako pasi pechidya changu uye ugovimbisa kuti uchandinzwira ngoni uye uchava wakatendeka. Usandiviga muIjipiti,
And whanne he seiy the dai of deeth nyye, he clepide his sone Joseph, and seide to hym, If Y haue founde grace in thi siyt; putte thin hond vndur myn hipe, and thou schal do merci and treuthe to me, that thou birie not me in Egipt;
30 asi pandinozorora namadzibaba angu, mundibudise muIjipiti munondiviga pavakavigwa.” Iye akati, “Ndichaita sezvamareva.”
but `Y schal slepe with my fadris, and take thou awey me fro this lond, and birie in the sepulcre of my grettere. To whom Joseph answeride, Y schal do that that thou comaundist.
31 Ivo vakati, “Ndipikire.” Ipapo Josefa akapika kwaari, uye Israeri akanamata akasendamira pamusoro wetsvimbo yake.
And Israel seide, Therfor swere thou to me; and whanne Joseph swoor, Israel turnede to the heed of the bed, and worschipide God.
