57 zvaShefatia, zvaHatiri, zvaPokereti-Hazebhaimi uye nezvaAmi.

sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Ami.

58 Varanda vaishanda mutemberi nezvizvarwa zvavaranda vaSoromoni vaiva mazana matatu namakumi mapfumbamwe navaviri.

All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.

59 Ava ndivo vakauya vachibva kumaguta eTeri Mera, Teri Harisha, Kerubhi, Adhoni neImeri, asi vakanga vasingagoni kuratidza dzimba dzamadzibaba avo kwavakanga vakaberekerwa muIsraeri:

And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:

60 Zvizvarwa zvaDheraya, zvaTobhia nezvaNekodha zvaiva mazana matanhatu namakumi mashanu navaviri.

61 Uye kubva pakati pavaprista: zvizvarwa zvaHobhaya, zvaHakozi uye nezvizvarwa zvaBhazirai (murume akanga awana mwanasikana waBhazirai muGireadhi uye akazotumidzwa zita iroro).

And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name);

these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,

and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of a priest with [the] Lights and with [the] Perfections.

64 Ungano yose pamwe chete yaisvika zviuru makumi mana nezviviri namazana matatu namakumi matanhatu,

All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,

65 tisingasanganisiri varanda vavo navarandakadzi vavo vakanga vari zviuru zvinomwe namazana matatu namakumi matatu navanomwe: uye vakanga vane varume navakadzi mazana maviri vakanga vari vaimbi.

apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and of them [are] two hundred male and female singers.

66 Vakanga vane mabhiza mazana manomwe namakumi matatu namatanhatu, manyurusi mazana maviri namakumi mana namashanu,

Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,

67 ngamera mazana mana namakumi matatu namashanu uye nembongoro zviuru zvitanhatu namazana manomwe namakumi maviri.

their camels, four hundred thirty-five, donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68 Pavakasvika paimba yaJehovha muJerusarema, vamwe vakuru vedzimba vakasarudza kupa nokuzvisarudzira kuti imba yaJehovha ivakwezve panzvimbo yayo.

And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming to the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;

69 Maererano napavaigona napo vakapa kuhomwe yemari yebasa iri, madhirakema zviuru makumi matanhatu nechimwe egoridhe, nemamina zviuru zvishanu esirivha uye nenguo dzavaprista zana.

according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and of silver, five thousand pounds, and of priests’ coats, one hundred.

70 Vaprista, vaRevhi, vaimbi, varindi vemikova uye navashandi vomutemberi vakagara mumaguta avo, pamwe chete navamwe vavanhu, uye vamwe vaIsraeri vose vakagara mumaguta avowo.

And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
