Dhuteronomi 16
1 Rangarira mwedzi waAbhibhi upemberere Pasika yaJehovha Mwari wako, nokuti mumwedzi waAbhibhi akakubudisa kubva muIjipiti usiku.
Observe the month of the aviv, and keep the passover unto YHWH thy Elohim: for in the month of the aviv YHWH thy Elohim brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.
2 Bayira Jehovha Mwari wako chipfuwo kubva pamakwai ako kana kubva pamombe dzako sePasika panzvimbo iyo Jehovha achasarudza kuti Zita rake rigarepo.
Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto YHWH thy Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YHWH shall choose to place his name there.
3 Usaidya nechingwa chine mbiriso, asi kwamazuva manomwe unofanira kudya chingwa chisina mbiriso, chingwa chokutambudzika, nokuti makabuda muIjipiti muchikurumidza, kuitira kuti murangarire nguva yamakabuda kubva muIjipiti.
Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
4 Pamazuva manomwe aya ngapasawanikwa mbiriso panyika yenyu yose. Musarega nyama yamunobayira usiku hwezuva rokutanga ichisara kusvikira mangwanani.
And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
5 Hamufaniri kubayira Pasika mune ripi zvaro ramaguta amunopiwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu,
Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee:
6 kunze kwenzvimbo yaachasarudza kuti Zita rake rigarepo. Ipapo ndipo pamunofanira kubayira Pasika madekwana, kana zuva ravira, nezuva rokurangarira kwamakaita kubva muIjipiti.
But at the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
7 Igochei mugoidyira panzvimbo yamuchasarudzirwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu kuti Zita rake rigarepo. Zvino kana ava mangwanani mudzokere kumatende enyu.
And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
8 Kwamazuva matanhatu mudye chingwa chisina mbiriso uye pazuva rechinomwe munofanira kuita ungano kuna Jehovha Mwari wenyu uye murege kushanda.
Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to YHWH thy Elohim: thou shalt do no work therein.
9 Verengai mavhiki manomwe kubva panguva yamunotanga kucheka gorosi.
Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.
10 Ipapo upemberere Jehovha Mwari wako Mutambo waMavhiki nokupa chipo chokuda kwako maererano nokuropafadzwa kwawakaitwa naJehovha Mwari wako.
And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto YHWH thy Elohim with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto YHWH thy Elohim, according as YHWH thy Elohim hath blessed thee:
11 Uye ufare pamberi paJehovha Mwari wako panzvimbo yaachasarudza kuti Zita rake rigarepo, iwe, navanakomana vako navanasikana vako, varandarume vako navarandakadzi vako, navaRevhi vari mumaguta ako, uye navatorwa, nenherera nechirikadzi dzigere pakati penyu.
And thou shalt rejoice before YHWH thy Elohim, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which YHWH thy Elohim hath chosen to place his name there.
12 Rangarirai kuti maiva varanda muIjipiti, uye muchenjerere kuchengeta mirayiro iyi.
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
13 Upemberere Mutambo waMatumba mazuva manomwe mushure mokunge wapedza kuunganidza zvawawana paburiro rako napachisviniro chako.
Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
14 Ufare kwazvo paMutambo wako, iwe, navanakomana vako navanasikana vako, varandarume vako navarandakadzi vako, navaRevhi vari mumaguta ako, uye navatorwa, nenherera nechirikadzi dzigere mumaguta enyu.
And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
15 Kwamazuva manomwe upemberere Mutambo kuna Jehovha Mwari wako panzvimbo ichasarudzwa naJehovha, nokuti Jehovha Mwari wako achakuropafadza mukukohwa kwako kwose nomubasa rako rose ramaoko ako, uye mufaro wako uchazadziswa.
Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto YHWH thy Elohim in the place which YHWH shall choose: because YHWH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
16 Katatu pagore varume vose pakati penyu vanofanira kuuya pamberi paJehovha Mwari wenyu panzvimbo iyo achasarudza: panguva yoMutambo weChingwa Chisina Mbiriso, noMutambo waMavhiki uye noMutambo waMatumba. Hapana munhu anofanira kuuya asina chaakabata pamberi paJehovha:
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before YHWH thy Elohim in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before YHWH empty:
17 Mumwe nomumwe wenyu anofanira kuuya nechipo chakaenzanirana nokuropafadzwa kwaakaitwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu.
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YHWH thy Elohim which he hath given thee.
18 Gadzai vatongi navakuru kurudzi rumwe norumwe rwenyu muguta rimwe nerimwe ramuri kupiwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu, uye vagotonga vanhu nokutonga kwakanaka.
Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
19 Musatsauka pakururamisira uye musaita rusarura. Musagamuchira fufuro, nokuti fufuro rinopofumadza meso owakachenjera uye rinominamisa mashoko avakarurama.
Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
20 Teverai kururamisira uye kururamisira chete, kuitira kuti mugorarama uye mugotora nyika yamuri kupiwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu.
That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee.
21 Musazvimisira matanda api zvawo aAshera parutivi pearitari yamunovakira Jehovha Mwari wenyu.
Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of YHWH thy Elohim, which thou shalt make thee.
22 Uye musamisa dombo rinoera, nokuti izvi Jehovha Mwari wenyu anozvivenga.
Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which YHWH thy Elohim hateth.
