2 Madzimambo 15

1 Mugore ramakumi maviri namanomwe raJerobhoamu mambo weIsraeri, Azaria mwanakomana waAmazia mambo weJudha akatanga kutonga.

In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.

2 Akanga ava namakore gumi namatanhatu paakava mambo, uye akatonga muJerusarema kwamakore makumi mashanu namaviri. Zita ramai vake rainzi Jekoria; vaibva muJerusarema.

A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.

Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.

And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.

6 Zvino zvimwe zvakaitika pakutonga kwaAzaria, nezvose zvaakaita, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eJudha.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

7 Azaria akazorora namadzibaba ake akavigwa pedyo navo muGuta raDhavhidhi. Uye Jotamu mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.

And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.

8 Mugore ramakumi matatu namasere raAzaria mambo weJudha, Zekaria mwanakomana waJerobhoamu akava mambo weIsraeri muSamaria, uye akatonga kwemwedzi mitanhatu.

In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.

9 Akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha, sezvakaitwa nababa vake. Haana kutendeuka kubva pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati zvakaita kuti Israeri iite.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

10 Sharumi mwanakomana waJabheshi akamukira Zekaria. Akamurwisa pamberi pavanhu, akamuuraya uye akamutevera paumambo.

And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

11 Zvino zvimwe zvakaitika zvokutonga kwaZekaria zvakanyorwa mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eIsraeri.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

12 Saka shoko raJehovha rakataurwa kuna Jehu richiti, “Vana vako vachagara pachigaro choushe chaIsraeri kusvikira kurudzi rwechina,” rakazadziswa.

It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.

13 Sharumi mwanakomana waJabheshi akava mambo mugore ramakumi matatu namapfumbamwe raUzia mambo weJudha, uye akatonga muSamaria kwomwedzi mumwe chete.

Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.

14 Ipapo Menahemi mwanakomana waGadhi akaenda kuSamaria achibva kuTiriza. Akarwisa Sharumi mwanakomana waJabheshi muSamaria, akamuuraya iye akamutevera paumambo.

And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

15 Zvino zvimwe zvakaitika pakutonga kwaSharumi, nokumukira kwaakatungamirira, zvakanyorwa mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eIsraeri.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

16 Panguva iyoyo Menahemi, akarwisa Tifisa navose vaiva muguta nenzvimbo dzaiva pedyo, achitanga kubva paTiriza, nokuti vakanga varamba kuzarura masuo avo. Akaparadza Tifisa uye akatumbura vakadzi vaiva nemimba.

Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.

17 Mugore ramakumi matatu namapfumbamwe raAzaria mambo weJudha, Menahemi mwanakomana waGadhi akava mambo weIsraeri, uye akatonga muSamaria kwamakore gumi.

In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.

18 Akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha. Mumazuva ake ose okutonga haana kutendeuka kubva pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati, zvaakaita kuti Israeri iite.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.

19 Ipapo Puri mambo weAsiria akarwisa nyika, uye Menahemi akamupa chiuru chamatarenda esirivha, kuti awane rutsigiro agosimbisa umambo hwake.

He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.

20 Menahemi akatora mari iyi somutero kubva kuIsraeri. Murume wose aiva mupfumi aibvisa makumi mashanu amashekeri esirivha kuti apiwe kuna mambo weAsiria. Saka mambo weAsiria akadzokera uye akasagarazve munyika.

And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.

22 Menahemi akazorora namadzibaba ake. Uye Pekahia mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.

And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.

23 Mugore ramakumi mashanu raAhazia mambo weJudha, Pekahia mwanakomana waMenahemi akava mambo weIsraeri muSamaria, akatonga kwamakore maviri.

In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.

24 Pekahia akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha. Haana kutendeuka kubva pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati, zvaakaita kuti Israeri iite.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

25 Mumwe wamakurukota ake, ainzi Peka mwanakomana waRemaria, akamumukira. Akatora varume makumi mashanu veGireadhi, akauraya Pekahia pamwe chete naArigobhi naArie, munhare yomuzinda wamambo weSamaria. Saka Peka akauraya Pekahia uye akamutevera paumambo.

And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

26 Zvimwe zvakaitika pakutonga kwaPekahia, nezvose zvaakaita zvakanyorwa mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eIsraeri.

27 Mugore ramakumi mashanu namaviri raAzaria mambo weJudha, Peka, mwanakomana waRemaria, akava mambo weIsraeri muSamaria, uye akatonga kwamakore makumi maviri.

In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].

28 Akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha. Haana kutendeuka kubva pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati zvaakaita kuti Israeri iite.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

29 Munguva yaPeka mambo weIsraeri, Tigirati-Pireseri mambo weAsiria akauya akatora Ijoni, Abheri Bheti Maaka, Janoa, Kedheshi neHazori. Akatora Gireadhi neGarirea pamwe chete nenyika dzose dzeNafutari uye akatakura vanhu akaenda navo kuAsiria senhapwa.

In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.

30 Ipapo Hoshea mwanakomana waEra akamukira Peka, mwanakomana waRemario. Akamurwisa akamuuraya ndokubva amutorera umambo mugore ramakumi maviri raJotamu mwanakomana waUzia.

And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.

31 Zvimwe zvakaitika pakutonga kwaPeka, nezvaakaita iye, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eIsraeri?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

32 Mugore rechipiri raPeka mwanakomana waRemaria mambo weIsraeri, Jotamu mwanakomana waUzia mambo weJudha akatanga kutonga.

In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.

33 Akanga ava namakore makumi maviri namashanu paakava mambo, uye akatonga muJerusarema kwamakore gumi namatanhatu. Zita ramai vake rainzi Jerusha, mwanasikana waZadhoki.

A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.

34 Akaita zvakarurama pamberi paJehovha, sezvakanga zvaitwa nababa vake Uzia.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.

35 Kunyange zvakadaro, matunhu akakwirira haana kubviswa, vanhu vakaramba vachibayira zvibayiro uye vachipisa zvinonhuhwira ikoko. Jotamu akavakazve Suo Rokumusoro retemberi yaJehovha.

Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.

36 Zvino zvimwe zvakaitika pakutonga kwaJotamu, nezvaakaita, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eJudha?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

37 (Mumazuva iwayo Jehovha akatanga kutuma Rezini mambo weAramu naPeka mwanakomana waRemaria kundorwisa Judha.)

In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.

38 Jotamu akazorora namadzibaba ake uye akavigwa pamwe chete navo muGuta raDhavhidhi, guta rababa vake. Ahazia mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.

And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
