1 Jotamu aiva namakore makumi maviri namashanu paakava mambo, uye akatonga muJerusarema kwamakore gumi namatanhatu. Amai vake vainzi Jerusha mwanasikana waZadhoki.

He built the upper gate of the LORD’s house, and he built much on the wall of Ophel.

Moreover he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.
5 Jotamu akarwa namambo wavaAmoni akavakunda. Mugore iroro vaAmoni vakamuripa matarenda zana esirivha, nezviyero zvegorosi zviuru gumi, nezviyero zvebhari zviuru gumi. VaAmoni vakauyisa zvimwe chetezvo mugore rechipiri nerechitatu.
He also fought with the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against them. 9 Jotamu akazorora namadzibaba ake akavigwa muGuta raDhavhidhi. Uye Ahazi mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.
Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in David’s city; and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
