1 Pandakauya kwamuri, hama, handina kuuya nokugona kutaura kana uchenjeri hwapamusoro, pandakaparidza kwamuri uchapupu hwezvaMwari.
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with superiority of speech or wisdom, proclaiming to you the mystery of God.
2 Nokuti ndakati handidi kuziva chinhu pandakanga ndiri pakati penyu, asi Jesu Kristu, uye akarovererwa pamuchinjikwa.
For I determined not to know anything among you, except Yeshua Meshikha, and him crucified.
3 Ndakauya kwamuri muutera nokutya uye nokudedera kukuru.
When I was with you, I was weak and afraid and I shook.
4 Shoko rangu nokuparidza kwangu zvakanga zvisina mashoko okugombedzera nouchenjeri, asi nokuratidza kwesimba raMweya,
My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Rukha and of power,
5 kuti kutenda kwenyu kurege kuva kwouchenjeri hwavanhu, asi kuve kwesimba raMwari.
that your faith would not rest on human wisdom, but on the power of God.
6 Zvisinei, tinotaura mashoko ouchenjeri pakati pavanhu vakura, asi kwete uchenjeri hwenyika ino, kana hwavabati venyika ino vachashayiwa simba. (aiōn g165)
We speak wisdom, however, among those who are mature, but a wisdom not of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. (aiōn g165)
7 Kwete, tinotaura uchenjeri hwaMwari hwakavanzika, uchenjeri hwakanga hwakafukidzwa uye hwakatemerwa kubwinya kwedu naMwari nyika isati yavapo. (aiōn g165)
But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God determined in advance before the ages for our glory, (aiōn g165)
8 Hakuna kana nomumwe wavabati venyika ino akahunzwisisa, nokuti dai vakahunzwisisa vangadai vasina kuroverera Ishe wokubwinya pamuchinjikwa. (aiōn g165)
which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Asi sezvazvakanyorwa zvichinzi: “Hakuna ziso rakaona, hakuna nzeve yakanzwa; hakuna zvakapinda mumurangariro womunhu, zvakagadzirirwa naMwari vaya vanomuda.”
No eye has seen, and no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him.
10 Asi Mwari akazviratidza kwatiri isu noMweya wake. Mweya anonzvera zvinhu zvose, kunyange nezvakadzika zvaMwari.
But to us God revealed it through the Rukha. For the Rukha searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 Nokuti ndianiko pakati pavanhu anoziva ndangariro dzomunhu kunze kwomweya womunhu uri mukati make? Saizvozvowo hakuna munhu anoziva ndangariro dzaMwari kunze kwoMweya waMwari.
For what person knows the things of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God except the Rukha of God.
12 Hatina kugamuchira mweya wenyika ino asi Mweya unobva kuna Mwari; kuti tinzwisise zvatakapiwa naMwari pachena.
But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Rukha which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
13 Izvi ndizvo zvatinotaura, tisingatauri namashoko atinodzidziswa nouchenjeri hwavanhu, asi namashoko atinodzidziswa naMweya, tichidudzira zvokwadi zvomweya namashoko omweya.
And we speak of these things, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Rukha, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
14 Munhu asina Mweya haangagamuchiri zvinhu zvinobva kuMweya waMwari, nokuti zvinonzwisisika nomweya.
Now the natural person does not receive the things of the Rukha of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Munhu ari muMweya anonzwisisa zvinhu zvose, asi iye pachake haanganzwisiswi nomunhu:
But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.
16 “Nokuti, ndianiko akaziva murangariro waShe kuti amudzidzise?” Asi isu tino murangariro waKristu.
For, "Who has known the mind of the Lord? Who will instruct him?" But we have the mind of Meshikha.
