The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2 Vanakomana vaKohati vaiva: Amiramu, Izhari, Hebhuroni naUzieri.
And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel.
3 Vana vaAmiramu vaiva: Aroni, Mozisi naMiriamu. Vanakomana vaAroni vaiva: Nadhabhi, Abhihu, Ereazari naItamari.
And the children of Amram, Aaron, and Moses and Miriam. And the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 Ereazari aiva baba vaFinehasi, Finehasi baba vaAbhishua,
Eleazar begate Phinehas. Phinehas begate Abishua,
5 Abhishua baba vaBhuki, Bhuki baba vaUzi,
And Abishua begate Bukki, and Bukki begate Vzzi,
6 Uzi baba vaZerahia, Zerahia baba vaMerayoti,
And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.
7 Merayoti baba vaAmaria, Amaria baba vaAhitubhi,
Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
8 Ahitubhi baba vaZadhoki, Zadhoki baba vaAhimaazi,
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,
9 Ahimaazi baba vaAzaria, Azaria baba vaJohanani,
And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,
10 Johanani baba vaAzaria. (Ndiye aibata basa somuprista mutemberi yakavakwa naSoromoni muJerusarema.)
And Iohanan begate Azariah (it was hee that was Priest in the house that Salomon built in Ierusalem)
11 Azaria baba vaAmaria, Amaria baba vaAhitubhi.
And Azariah begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
12 Ahitubhi baba vaZadhoki, Zadhoki baba vaSharumi,
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Shallum,

And Azariah begate Seraiah, and Seraiah begate Iehozadak,
15 (Jehozadhaki akadzingwa Jehovha paakaendesa Judha neJerusarema kuutapwa noruoko rwaNebhukadhinezari.)
And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.
17 Aya ndiwo mazita avanakomana vaGerishoni: Ribhini naShimei.
And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.
18 Vanakomana vaKohati vaiva: Amiramu, Izhari, Hebhuroni naUzieri.
And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.
19 Vanakomana vaMerari vaiva: Mairi naMushi. Idzi ndidzo dzimba dzavaRevhi dzakanyorwa maererano namazita amadzibaba avo:
The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.
20 VaGerishoni: Ribhini mwanakomana wake, Jehati mwanakomana wake naZima mwanakomana wake,
Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,
21 Joa mwanakomana wake Idho mwanakomana wake, Zera mwanakomana wake naJeaterai mwanakomana wake.
Ioah his sonne, Iddo his sonne, Zerah his sonne, Ieaterai his sonne.
22 Zvizvarwa zvaKohati zvaiva: Aminadhabhi mwanakomana wake, Kora mwanakomana wake, Asiri mwanakomana wake,
The sonnes of Kohath, Aminadab his sonne, Korah his sonne, Assir his sonne,
23 Erikana mwanakomana wake, naEbhiasafi mwanakomana wake, Asiri mwanakomana wake,
Elkanah his sonne, and Ebiasaph his sonne, and Assir his sonne,
24 naTahati mwanakomana wake, Urieri mwanakomana wake, Uzia mwanakomana wake naShauri mwanakomana wake.
Tahath his sonne, Vriel his sonne, Vzziah his sonne, and Shaul his sonne,
25 Zvizvarwa zvaErikana zvaiva: Amasai, Ahimoti,
And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.
26 Erikana mwanakomana wake, Zofai mwanakomana wake, naNahati mwanakomana wake,
Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,
27 naEriabhi mwanakomana wake, Jerohamu mwanakomana wake, naErikana mwanakomana wake, naSamueri mwanakomana wake,
Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,
28 Vanakomana vaSamueri vaiva: Joere dangwe rake naAbhija mwanakomana wake wechipiri.
And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.
29 Zvizvarwa zvaMerari zvaiva: Mari, Ribhini mwanakomana wake, Shimei mwanakomana wake, Uza mwanakomana wake,
The sonnes of Merari were Mahli, Libni his sonne, Shimei his sonne, Vzzah his sonne,
30 Shimea mwanakomana wake, Hagia mwanakomana wake naAsaya mwanakomana wake.
Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.
31 Ava ndivo varume vakagadzwa naDhavhidhi kuti vafambise basa rokuimba muimba yaJehovha mushure mokunge areka yawana pokuzorora imomo.
And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.
32 Vaishumira uye vaiimba pamberi petabhenakeri, muTende Rokusangana, kusvikira Soromoni avaka temberi yaJehovha muJerusarema. Vaibata basa ravo maererano nemitemo yavakanga vakadzikirwa.
And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.

And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,
34 mwanakomana waErikana, mwanakomana waJerohamu, mwanakomana waErieri, mwanakomana waToa,
The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Toah,
35 mwanakomana waZufi, mwanakomana waErikana, mwanakomana waMahati, mwanakomana waAmasai,
The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,
36 mwanakomana waErikana, mwanakomana waJoere, mwanakomana waAzaria, mwanakomana waZefania,
The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Zephaniah,
37 mwanakomana waTahati, mwanakomana waAsiri, mwanakomana waEbhiasafi; mwanakomana waKora,
The sonne of Tahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah,
38 mwanakomana waIzhari, mwanakomana waKohati, mwanakomana waRevhi mwanakomana waIsraeri.
The sonne of Izhar, the sonne of Kohath, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Israel.

And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,

The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,
43 mwanakomana waJahati, mwanakomana waGerishoni, mwanakomana waRevhi;
The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.
44 uye kubva kuvabatsiri vavo, vaMerari, kuruboshwe rwake, vaiva: Etani mwanakomana waKishi, mwanakomana waAbhidhi, mwanakomana waMaruki,
And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,
45 mwanakomana waHashabhia, mwanakomana waAmazia, mwanakomana waHirikia,
The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
46 mwanakomana waAmuzi, mwanakomana waBhani, mwanakomana waShemeri,
The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,
47 mwanakomana waMari, mwanakomana waMushi, mwanakomana waMerari, mwanakomana waRevhi.
The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.
48 Vamwe vavo vaRevhi vakapiwa mamwe mabasa ose omutabhenakeri, imba yaMwari.
And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,
49 Asi Aroni nezvizvarwa zvake ndivo vaiisa zvipiriso paaritari yezvipiriso zvinopiswa uye nepaaritari yezvinonhuhwira maererano nezvose zvaiitwa paNzvimbo Tsvene-tsvene, vachiyananisira Israeri maererano nezvose zvakanga zvarayirwa Mozisi muranda waMwari.
But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.

These are also the sonnes of Aaron, Eleazar his sonne, Phinehas his sonne, Abishua his sonne,

Bukki his sonne, Vzzi his sonne, Zerahiah his sonne,
52 Merayoti mwanakomana wake, Amaria mwanakomana wake, Ahitubhi mwanakomana wake,
Meraioth his sonne, Amariah his sonne, Ahitub his sonne,
53 Zadhoki mwanakomana wake naAhimaazi mwanakomana wake.
Zadok his sonne, and Ahimaaz his sonne.
54 Idzi ndidzo dzakanga dziri nzvimbo dzavo dzavakagoverwa dzokugara senyika yavo (dzakapiwa kuzvizvarwa zvaAroni, avo vaibva kuimba yaKohati, nokuti mugove wokutanga wakanga uri wavo).
And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.
55 Vakapiwa Hebhuroni iri muJudha namafuro ose akaipoteredza.
So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.
56 Asi minda nemisha yose yakapoteredza guta iri yakapiwa kuna Karebhu mwanakomana waJefune.
But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.
57 Saka zvizvarwa zvaAroni zvakapiwa Hebhuroni (Guta routiziro) uye Ribhina, Jatiri, Eshitemoa,
And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,
58 Hireni, Dhebhiri,
And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
59 Ashani, Juta, Bheti Shemeshi pamwe chete namafuro awo.
And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:
60 Uye kubva kurudzi rwaBhenjamini vakapiwa Gibheoni, Gebha Aremeti neAnatoti pamwe chete namafuro awo. Maguta aya, akagoverwa pakati pedzimba dzavaKohati akanga ari gumi namatatu pamwe chete.
And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.
61 Zvimwe zvizvarwa zvaKohati zvakagoverwa maguta gumi kubva kudzimba dzorudzi rwehafu rwaManase.
And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.
62 Zvizvarwa zvaGerishoni mhuri nemhuri zvakagoverwawo maguta gumi namatatu kubva kumarudzi aIsakari, Asheri naNafutari uye nokubva kuchikamu chorudzi rwaManase chiri muBhashani.
And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
63 Zvizvarwa zvaMerari, mhuri nemhuri zvakagoverwa maguta gumi namaviri kubva kumarudzi aRubheni, Gadhi naZebhuruni.
Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.
64 Saka vaIsraeri vakapa vaRevhi maguta aya namafuro awo.
Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.
65 Kubva kurudzi rwaJudha, rwaSimeoni norwaBhenjamini vakagoverwa maguta ayo akanga arehwa namazita.
And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.
66 Vamwe vedzimba dzaKohati vakapiwa kuti ive nyika yavo, maguta kubva kurudzi rwaEfuremu.
And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Munyika yamakomo yaEfuremu vakapiwa Shekemu (guta routiziro) neGezeri,
And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,
68 neJokimeami, neBheti Horoni,
Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,
69 Aijaroni, neGati Rimoni pamwe chete namafuro awo.
And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,
70 Uye kubva kuhafu yorudzi rwaManase vaIsraeri vakapawo Aneri neBhireamu pamwe chete namafuro awo kuvaKohati vakanga vasara.
And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.
71 VaGerishoni vakagamuchirawo zvinotevera: Kubva kuimba yehafu yorudzi rwaManase vakagamuchira Gorani muBhashani neAshitarotiwo pamwe chete namafuro awo;
Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,
72 kubva kurudzi rwaIsakari vakagamuchira Kedheshi neDhabherati,
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbes, Daberath and her suburbes,
73 Ramoti, neAnemi, pamwe chete namafuro awo;
Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,
74 kubva kurudzi rwaAsheri vakagamuchira Mashari, neAbhidhoni,
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,
75 Hukoki neRehobhi pamwe chete namafuro awo;
And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,
76 uye kubva kurudzi rwaNafutari vakagamuchira Kedheshi muGarirea, neHamoni neKiriataimi pamwe chete namafuro awo.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.
77 VaMerari (vaRevhi vose vakanga vasara) vakagamuchira zvinotevera: Kubva kurudzi rwaZebhuruni vakagamuchira Jokineami, Karita Rimono, neTabhori pamwe chete namafuro awo;
Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,
78 kubva kurudzi rwaRubheni mhiri kworwizi Jorodhani kumabvazuva kweJeriko vakagamuchirwawo Bhezeri murenje, Jaza,
And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,
79 Kedhemoti neMefaati pamwe chete namafuro awo;
And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,
80 uye kubva kurudzi rwaGadhi vakagamuchira Ramoti muGireadhi, Mahanaimi,
And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
81 Heshibhoni neJazeri pamwe chete namafuro awo.
And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.
