39 Vanakomana vaRotani vaiva: Hori naHomami, Timina aiva hanzvadzi yaRotani.

And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40 Vanakomana vaShobhari vaiva: Arivhani, Manahati, Ebhari, Shefo naOnami. Vanakomana vaZibheoni vaiva: Aya naAna.

The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.

41 Mwanakomana waAna ainzi Dhishoni. Vanakomana vaDhishoni vaiva: Hemidhani, Eshibhani, Itirani naKerani.

The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Vanakomana vaEzeri vaiva: Bhirihani, Zaavhani naAkani. Vanakomana vaDhishani vaiva: Uzi naArani.

The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

43 Aya ndiwo aiva madzimambo aitonga muEdhomu kusati kwava namambo upi zvake aitonga muIsraeri vaiva: Bhera mwanakomana waBheori, guta rake rainzi Dhinihabha.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before their reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 Bhera paakafa, Jobhabhi mwanakomana waZera aibva kuBhozira akamutevera paumambo.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 Jobhabhi paakafa, Hushami aibva kunyika yevaTemani akamutevera paumambo.

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 Hushami paakafa, Hadhadhi mwanakomana waBhedhadhi uyo akakunda Midhiani munyika yaMoabhu akamutevera paumambo. Guta rake rainzi Avhiti.

And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 Samira paakafa, Shauri aibva kuRehobhoti parwizi akamutevera paumambo.

And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.

49 Shauri paakafa Bhaari Hanani mwanakomana waAkibhori akamutevera paumambo.

And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50 Bhaari Hanani paakafa, Hadhadhi akamutevera paumambo. Guta rake rainzi Pau uye mudzimai wake ainzi Mehetabheri, mwanasikana waMatiredhi, mwanasikana waMe-Zahabhi.

And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
