< Mathaio 22 >
1 Jesu a bolela dipolelo tse dingwe tse dintsi go supa gore Bogosi jwa Legodimo bo tshwana le eng.
And answering Jesus again spoke in parables to them saying;
Has become like the kingdom of the heavens to a man a king who made a wedding feast for the son of him.
Mme batho ba ba laleditsweng ba gana!
And he sent the servants of him to call those invited to the wedding feast, and not they were willing to come.
Itlhaganeleng!”
Again he sent other servants saying; do say to those invited; Behold the dinner of mine (I have prepared, *N(k)O*) the oxen of Mine and the fatlings killed, and all things [are] ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Mme baeng ba a neng a ba laleditse ba tshega fela ba tswelela pele le ditiro tsa bone, mongwe kwa morakeng wa gagwe yo mongwe kwa madirelong a gagwe;
And having paid no attention they went away, (that [one] *N(k)O*) indeed to [his] own field, (that [one] *N(k)O*) however (to *N(k)O*) the business of him;
6 ba bangwe ba itaya batlhanka ba gagwe ba ba tshwara setlhogo mo go tlhabisang ditlhong, ba bo ba bolaya bangwe ba bone.
And the rest having laid hold of the servants of him mistreated and killed [them].
(and *o*) (having heard *k*) Now the king (that *k*) was angry, and having sent the armies of him he destroyed the murderers those and the city of them he burned.
8 Mme ya raya batlhanka ba yone ya re, “Modiro wa lenyalo o siame, mme baeng ba ke ba laleditseng ga ba a tshwanelwa ke tlotlo.
Then he says to the servants of him; The indeed wedding feast ready is, those however invited not were worthy.
do go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as (if *N(k)O*) you shall find, do invite to the wedding feast.
10 Mme batlhanka ba dira fela jalo, ba lere batho botlhe, basiami le baleofi ka go tshwana; mme ntlo ya tlala balalediwa.
And having gone out the servants those into the highways they brought together all (as many as *N(k)O*) they found, evil both and good; and became full the (wedding hall *NK(O)*) of those reclining.
Having entered in then the king to see those reclining he saw there a man not being dressed himself in clothes of wedding
Mme monna a tlhoka karabo.
and he says to him; Friend, how did you enter here not having garment of wedding? And he was speechless.
Then the king said to the servants; Having bound his feet and hands (do take and *KO*) do cast out him into the darkness outer; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
Many for are called, few however chosen.
15 Bafarasai ba kopana go leka go akanya tsela e ba ka mo tshwarang mo puong ka yone.
Then having gone out the Pharisees counsel took how Him they may trap in His words.
16 Ba ikaelela go roma bangwe ba banna ba bone le Baheroda go mmotsa potso e: “Rra, re itse gore o ikanyega thata le gore o ruta boammaaruri kwa ntleng ga go tlhokomela tse di ka go diragalelang, e bile o sa boife bomang-mang jwa ga ope.
And they send to Him the disciples of them with the Herodians (saying; *NK(o)*) Teacher, we know that true You are and the way of God in [the] truth You teach, and not there is care to You about no [one], not for You look on [the] appearance of men.
17 Jaanong re bolelele, a go siame go ntshetsa mmuso wa Roma lekgetho kgotsa nnyaa?”
do tell therefore us what You think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?
18 Mme Jesu a bona se ba neng ba se ikaeletse. A re, “Baitimokanyi ke lona! Lo leka go tsietsa mang ka dipotso tsa lona tsa bolotsana?
Having known however Jesus the malice of them He said; Why Me do you test, hypocrites?
19 Ntshupegetsang ledi,” Mme ba le mo naya.
do show Me the coin of the tribute. And they presented to Him a denarius.
20 A ba botsa a re, “Le tshwantshitswe mang? Gape leina le le ka fa tlase ga setshwantsho se ke la ga mang”?
And He says to them; Of whom [is] likeness this And [of whom is] the inscription?
They say to Him; Of Caesar. Then He says to them; do give back therefore the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
And having heard they marveled, and having left Him they went away.
23 Mme ka letsatsi leo bangwe ba Basadukai, ba ba reng ga go na tsogo ya baswi morago ga loso, ba tla kwa go ene mme ba mmotsa ba re
On that [very] day came to Him Sadducees (those *k*) saying not being a resurrection and they questioned Him
24 “Morena, Moshe o rile fa motho a a swa a sena bana, monnawe a nyale motlholagadi yoo, mme bana ba bone ba tlaa ja boswa.
saying; Teacher, Moses said; If anyone shall die not having children, will marry the brother of him the wife of him and he will raise up offspring for the brother of him.
25 Go kile ga bo go na le monna mongwe mo motseng wa rona a na le bana ba basimane ba supa. Mme wa ntlha a nyala mme a swa a sena bana, jalo motlholagadi wa gagwe a nna mosadi wa ga monnawe yo o mo tlhomaganelang.
There were now among us seven brothers. and the first having married died, and not having seed he left the wife of him to the brother of him;
26 Mme le ene monnawe yo, a swa a sena bana, mme mosadi a nyalwa ke monnawe yo mongwe. Ga direga fela jalo go fitlhelela a nna mosadi wa mongwe le mongwe wa bone ka bosupa!
Likewise also the second and the third until the seventh.
27 Mme mosadi le ene a swa.
Finally then of all died (and *ko*) the woman.
In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven will she be wife? All for had her.
29 Mme Jesu a re, “Phoso ya lona e dirwa ke bosenakitso jwa lona jwa go tlhoka go itse dikwalo le nonofo ya Modimo.
Answering now Jesus said to them; You err not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
In for the resurrection neither do they marry nor (are given in marriage *N(k)O*) but like angels (*K*) (of God *KO*) in (*no*) heaven they are.
Concerning now the resurrection of the dead surely you have read that which has been spoken to you by God saying;
32 ‘Ke Modimo wa ga Aberahame, Isake le Jakobe!’ Jalo Modimo ga se Modimo wa baswi, mme ke wa batshedi.”
I myself am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?’ Not He is the God (God *k*) of [the] dead but of [the] living.
33 Bontsintsi jwa batho jwa itumedisiwa thata ke dikarabo tsa gagwe.
And having heard the crowds were astonished at the teaching of Him.
34 Mme e seng Bafarasai! E rile ba utlwa gore o didimaditse Basadukai ka phetolo ya gagwe, ba akanya sesha potso e bone ba ka e mmotsang. Mongwe wa bone yo e neng e le mmueledi (Agente), a bua a re:
And the Pharisees having heard that He had silenced the Sadducees were gathered together the same.
And questioned [Him] one of them a lawyer testing Him (and saying: *k*)
36 “Morena, taolo ya botlhokwa mo melaong ya ga Moshe ke efe?”
Teacher, which commandment [is the] greatest in the law?
37 Jesu a fetola a re, “‘Rata Morena Modimo wa gago ka pelo yotlhe ya gago, ka mowa le tlhaloganyo.’
And (Jesus *k*) (was saying *N(k)O*) to him; You will love [the] Lord the God of you with all the heart of you and with all the soul of you and with all the mind of you.’
This is (the *no*) great and first commandment.
[The] second also [is] like (to it: *NK(o)*) You will love the neighbour of you as yourself.’
Tshegetsa yone e mebedi e fela, mme o tlaa bona gore o tshegeditse e mengwe yotlhe.”
On these two commandments all the law (hangs *N(k)O*) and the Prophets.
41 Mme ya re a farafarilwe ke Bafarasai, a ba botsa potso a re:
When were assembled now the Pharisees questioned them Jesus
42 “Lo gopolang ka ga Mesia? Ke Morwa mang?” Ba araba ba re “Ke Morwa Dafide.”
saying; What you think concerning the Christ? Of whom son is He? They say to Him; Of David.
43 Mme Jesu a botsa a re, “Mme ke eng fa Dafide, a bua ka tlhotlheletso ya Mowa o o Boitshepo, a mmitsa a re ‘Morena’ Ka gore Dafide o rile,
He says to them; How then David in spirit does call Him Lord saying:
44 ‘Modimo o reile Morena wa me wa re, nna ka fa letsogong la me le legolo go fitlhelela ke baya baba ba gago ka fa tlase ga dinao tsa gago!’
Said (the *k*) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit on [the] right hand of Me until when I may place the enemies of You ([as] a footstool *N(k)O*) for the feet of You?
45 Mme fa Dafide a mmitsa ‘Morena’, e ka nna morwawe jang?”
If therefore David calls Him Lord, how son of him is He?
46 Ba tlhoka karabo. Mme morago ga moo ba tshaba go tlhola ba mmotsa dipotso tse dingwe.
And no [one] was able to answer Him a word nor dared anyone from that [very] day to question Him no longer. no longer.
