Luke 22

Was drawing near now the Feast of Unleavened [Bread] which is being named Passover,
2 Baperesiti ba bagolo le baeteledipele ba bangwe ba tumelo ba ne ba tlhoafaletse polao ya ga Jesu ba leka go senka tsela e ba ka mmolayang ka yone kwa ntle ga go tsosa mokubukubu, selo se ba neng ba se tshaba segolo.
And were seeking the chief priests and the scribes how they may execute him; they were afraid for of the people.

Entered then (*k*) Satan into Judas who (is being called *N(k)O*) Iscariot being of the number of the Twelve.

And having gone away he spoke with the chief priests and (the *k*) captains how to them he may betray Him.

And they rejoiced and they agreed with him money to give.

And he promised and was seeking opportunity to betray Him apart from [a] crowd to them.
7 Mme letsatsi la moletlo wa Tlolaganyo la fitlha, le ka lone kwana ya modiro e neng ya bolawa ya ba ya jewa le senkgwe se se sa bedisiwang.
Came then the day of Unleavened [Bread] on which it was necessary for to be sacrificed the Passover lamb.
8 Jesu a roma Petere le Johane go ya go batla felo fa go tlaa baakanyediwang Tlolaganyo ya bone gone.
And He sent Peter and John having said; Having gone do prepare for us the Passover that we may eat [it].
9 Mme ba botsa ba re, “O batla re ya kae?”
And they said to Him; Where do you want [that] (we may prepare? *NK(o)*)
10 Mme a fetola a re, “E tlaa re fela fa lo tsena mo Jerusalema, lo tlaa bona monna a tshotse nkgwana ya metsi. Mo lateleng go ya kwa lwapeng lo a tsenang mo go lone,
And He said to them; Behold when are entering you into the city will meet you a man a pitcher of water carrying. do follow him into the house (into *no*) (which *N(k)O*) he enters;
11 mme lo reye monna yo o nnang foo lo re, ‘Moruti wa rona a re o re kaele ntlo ya baeti fa a ka jelang Tlolaganyo gone le barutwa ba gagwe.’
and you will say to the master of the house; Says to you the Teacher; Where is the guest room where the Passover with the disciples of Mine I may eat?
12 Mme o tlaa lo tseela kwa godimo kwa tlung e tona e re setseng re e baakanyeditswe. Ke lone lefelo leo. Tsamaelang pele lo ye go baakanya dijo gone.”
And he And he you will show an upper room large furnished; there do prepare.

Having gone then they found [it] even as (He had said *N(k)O*) to them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 Mme Jesu le ba bangwe ba goroga, mme ka nako e e tshwanetseng ba nna fa fatshe botlhe fa lomating lwa bojelo;
And when was come the hour, He reclined and the (twelve *K*) apostles with Him.
15 mme a ba raya a re, “Ke lebeletse lobaka lo ka tlhoafalo e kgolo, ke batla go ja Tlolaganyo e le lona pele ga pogiso ya me e simologa.
And He said to them; With desire I have desired this Passover to eat with you before I to suffe;
16 Gonne ke a lo bolelela gompieno gore ga nkitla ke tlhola ke e ja gape; go fitlhela se e se emetseng se diragala mo Bogosing jwa Modimo.”
I say for to you that (no longer no longer *KO*) certainly not shall I eat (from *k*) (it *N(k)O*) until when it may be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 Mme a tsaya senwelo sa mofine, ya re a sena go se lebogela a re, “Tsaya se lo se kgaogane.
And having received [the] cup having given thanks He said; do take this and do divide [it] (among *no*) (yourselves; *N(k)O*)
18 Gonne ga nkitla ke e nwa mofine gape go fitlhelela Bogosi jwa Modimo bo tla.”
I say for to you; that certainly not shall I drink (from *NO*) (*no*) (now *NO*) of the (fruit *N(k)O*) of the vine until (that [time] *N(k)O*) the kingdom of God may come.
19 Mme a tsaya senkgwe; mme a se lebogela, a se ngathoganya a se ba naya a re, “Se ke mmele wa me, o lo o neetsweng. O jeng e le segopotso sa me.”
And having taken [the] bread having given thanks He broke [it] and He gave to them saying; This is the body of Mine which for you is given; this do perform in the My remembrance.
20 Morago ga dijo a ba naya senwelo se sengwe sa mofine a re, “Mofine o, ke sesupo sa kgolagano e ncha ya Modimo go lo boloka, kgolagano e e kanetsweng ka madi a ke tlaa a tshololang go reka mewa ya lona.
and the cup likewise after the eating saying; This cup [is] the new covenant in the blood of Me which for you is being poured out.
21 Mme fano fa lomating lwa bojelo go ntse mongwe jaaka tsala mo gare ga rona, ke ene monna yo o tlaa nkokang.
But behold the hand of the [one] betraying Me [is] with Me on the table.
22 Ke tshwanetse go swa. Ke ntlha nngwe ya leano la Modimo. Mme bomadimabe bo letile monna yo, yo o nkokang,”
(For *N(k)O*) the Son indeed of man according to that determined goes; but woe to the man that [one] through whom He is betrayed.
23 Mme barutwa ba ikgakgamalela gore ke ofe wa bone yo o ka dirang selo se se ntseng jalo.
And they themselves began to question among themselves who then it would be of them who this is about to do.
24 Ba simolola go ganetsanya gore ke ofe yo o tlaa nnang mo maemong a a kwa godimo [mo Bogosing jo bo tlang].
There was then also a dispute among them, which of them is thought to be [the] greatest.
25 Mme Jesu a ba raya a re, “Mo lefatsheng leno dikgosi le banna ba batona ba laola batlhanka ba bone, mme batlhanka ga ba ke ba itlhophela fa e se go ineela fela!
And He said to them; The kings of the Gentiles rule over them, and those exercising authority over them benefactors are called.
26 Mme mo gare ga lona, ene yo o lo direlang ke ene o tlaa nnang moeteledipele wa lona.
You however not thus [shall be], Instead the greater among you (he should become *N(k)O*) as the younger, and the [one] leading as the [one] serving.
27 Mo lefatsheng Morena o nna fa lomating lwa bojelo mme a direlwe ke batlhanka ba gagwe. Mme e seng fano! Gonne ke motlhanka wa lona.
Who for [is] greater, the [one] reclining or the [one] serving? Surely the [one] reclining? I myself however in [the] midst of you am as the [One] serving.
28 Le fa go ntse jalo, ka ntlha ya gore lo ntse lo le boammaaruri mo go nna mo malatsing a a matshwenyego,
You yourselves now are those having remained with Me in the trials of Mine.
29 le ka ntlha ya gore Rre a nneetse Bogosi, le Nna gompieno ke lo naya tshwanelo,
And I myself And I myself appoint to you even as appointed to Me the Father of Mine a kingdom,
30 ya go ja le go nwa fa lomating lwa bojelo mo Bogosing joo; mme lo tlaa nna mo ditilong tsa segosi lo atlhola ditso tse di lesome le bobedi tsa Iseraele.
so that you may eat and may drink at the table of Mine in the kingdom of Mine and (will sit *N(k)(o)*) on thrones the twelve tribes judging of Israel.
31 “Simone, Simone, Satane o lopile gore lo mo neelwe, gore a lo fefere jaaka mabele,
(said now Lord: *KO*) Simon Simon, Behold Satan demanded to have all of you to sift like wheat.
32 mme ke go rapeletse gore tumelo ya gago e seka ya fenngwa gotlhelele. Mme e re fa o sena go sokologa o bo o boela mo go nna gape, o nonotshe tumelo ya bakaulengwe ba gago o bo o e age.”
I myself however begged for you that not (may fail *N(k)O*) the faith of you. and you yourself when you have turned back do strengthen the brothers of you.
33 Simone a re, “Morena ke ipaakanyeditse go ya kgolegelong le wena, le go swa le wena.”
And he said to Him; Lord, with You ready I am both to prison and to death to go.
34 Mme Jesu a mo raya a re, “Petere, mma ke go bolelele sengwe. Go simolola ka nako eno go ya go tsena ka moso mo mosong fa mokoko o lela, o tlaa bo o intatotse gararo, o bolela gore ga o nkitse.”
And He said; I tell you Peter, certainly (not *k*) (will crow *N(k)O*) today [the] rooster (until *N(k)O*) three times Me you may deny (not *k*) to know
35 Mme Jesu a ba botsa a re, “E rile fa ke lo phatlalatsa go ya go rera Mafoko a a Molemo lo sena madi, sekgwama kgotsa diaparo tse dingwe, lo ne lwa tsamaya jang?” Mme ba fetola ba re, “Re tsamaile sentle.”
And He said to them; When I sent you without purse and bag and sandals, not anything did you lack? And they said; No [thing].
36 A re, “Jaanong a yo o nang le sekgwama a se tseye le madi. Mme le yo o senang chaka, go botoka gore a rekise diaparo tsa gagwe a ye go e reka!
He said (then *N(k)O*) to them; But now the [one] having a purse he should take [it], likewise also a bag; and the [one] not having (he should sell *NK(o)*) the cloak of him and (he should buy *NK(o)*) a sword.
37 Gonne lobaka lo fitlhile lwa gore polelelo pele ka ga me e e reng: ‘O tlaa bonwa molato jaaka dinokwane,’ e diragale! Ee, sengwe le sengwe se se kwadilweng ka ga me ke baporofiti se tlaa diragala.”
I say for to you that (still *k*) this which [was] written it behooves to be accomplished in Me myself, And with [the] lawless He was reckoned.’ And for (the [thing] *N(K)O*) concerning Me an end have.
38 Mme ba fetola ba re, “Morena, re na le dichaka tse pedi,” mme a ba fetola a re, “Di lekane!”
And they said; Lord, behold swords here [are] two. And He said to them; Enough it is.
39 Mme a tswa mo tlung e e kwa godimo a ya kwa Thoteng ya Lotlhware jaaka gale.
And having gone forth He went according to the custom to the Mount of Olives. followed then Him also the disciples (of him. *k*)
40 Mme ya re teng koo a ba raya a re, “Rapelang Modimo gore lo se ka lwa fenngwa ke thaelo.”
Having come then to the place He said to them; do pray not to enter into temptation.
41 Mme a tsamaya gongwe e ka ne e le sebaka sa konopelo ya lentswe, a khubama a rapela thapelo e: “Rara, fa o rata tsweetswee, tlosa senwelo se sa tlhokofatso mo go nna mme ke batla go rata ga gago, e seng ga me.”
And He himself withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and having fallen on the knees He was praying
saying; Father, if You are willing (do take away *N(k)O*) this cup from Me; Yet not [be done] the will of Me but of You (should be [done]. *N(k)O*)
43 Mme moengele yo o tswang legodimong a iponatsa a mo nonotsha,
Appeared then to Him an angel from (*o*) heaven strengthening Him.
44 gonne o ne a le mo tlhokofatsong ya mowa mo o neng a rotha mofufutso wa madi; ka marothodi a magolo a wela fa fatshe fa a ntse a rapela thata ka tlhoafalo.
And having been in agony more earnestly He was praying. (And *no*) became (now *ko*) the sweat of Him like great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.
45 Mme ya re lwa bofelo a boela gape kwa barutweng ba gagwe, a ba fitlhela ba robetse, ba lapisitswe ke bohutsana.
And having risen up from the prayer, having come to the disciples He found sleeping them from the grief
46 A ba raya a re, “A lo robetse! Tsogang! Rapelang gore lo se ka lwa fenngwa fa lo raelwa.”
and He said to them; Why are you sleeping? Having risen up do pray that not you may enter into temptation.
47 Mme ya re fa a sa ntse a bua jaana lesomo la batho la tla le eteletswe pele ke Judase, mongwe wa barutwa ba gagwe ba ba neng ba le lesome le bobedi. Judase a tsamaela kwa go Jesu a mo atla mo lerameng ka tumediso ya botsalano.
While still (now *k*) when he is speaking behold a crowd, and the [one] named Judas one of the Twelve was going before (them *N(k)O*) and he drew near to Jesus to kiss Him.
48 Mme Jesu a mo raya a re, “Judase ke eng fa o dira jaana, o oka Morwa Motho ka katlo?”
(*k*) Jesus then said to him; Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man are you betraying?
49 Mme ya re barutwa ba gagwe ba bona se se tlaa tlogang se direga ba goa ba re, “Morena a re ka lwa? Re tsile le dichaka!”
Having seen then those around Him what will be they said (to him: *k*) Lord, if will we strike with [the] sword?
50 Mme mongwe wa bone a rema tsebe e e kafa letsogong le legolo la motlhanka wa Moperesiti yo Mogolo a e kgaola.
And struck one a certain of them of the high priest the servant and cut off the ear of him right.
51 Mme Jesu a re, “Lo seka lwa busolosa ka gope”. Mme a ama fa tsebe e neng e le teng a e busetsa.
Answering now Jesus said; do allow [only] as far as this! And having touched the ear (of him *k*) He healed him.
52 Mme Jesu a bua le baperesiti ba bagolo le balaodi ba batlhokomedi ba Tempele le baeteledipele ba tumelo ba ba neng ba eteletse lesomo la batho pele. A botsa a re, “A ke serukutlhi, fa lo tsile ka dichaka le melamu go ntshwara jaana?”
Said then (*k*) Jesus to those having come out against Him chief priests and captains of the temple and elders; As against a robber (have you come out *N(k)O*) with swords and clubs?
53 Ke eng fa lo ne lo sa ntshware mo Tempeleng. Ke ne ke le koo malatsi otlhe. Mme lo ke lobaka lwa lona, lobaka lo nonofo ya ga Satane e busang thata ka lone.
Every day being Me with you in the temple not did you stretch out the hands against Me myself. but this is of you the hour and the power of the darkness.
54 Jalo ba mo tshwara ba mo isa kwa bonnong jwa Moperesiti yo Mogolo, mme Petere a ba latela a katogetse kgakajana.
Having seized then Him they led [Him] away and brought (him *k*) into (the home *N(k)O*) of the high priest. And Peter was following afar off.
55 Mme masole a gotsa molelo mo lwapeng ba nna fa fatshe ba ora, mme Petere a ora nabo.
(They having kindled around *N(k)O*) then a fire in [the] midst of the courtyard and when having sat down together (they *k*) was sitting Peter (in *k*) (midst *N(k)O*) of them.
56 Mme motlhanka wa morweetsana a mo lemoga mo leseding la molelo hong a simolola go mo tlhoma matlho. Mme ya re lwa bofelo a re, “Monna yo o ne a na le Jesu!”
Having seen then him a servant girl certain sitting by the light and having looked intently on him she said; Also this one with Him was.
57 Petere a itatola a re, “Mosadi, ga ke itse monna yoo gotlhelele!”
But he denied (him *K*) saying; Not I do know Him, woman.
58 Morago ga lobakanyana mongwe a mo leba a re, “O tshwanetse wa bo o le mongwe wa bone!” Petere a fetola a re, “Nnyaa rra, ga ke ene!”
And after a little another having seen him was saying; Also you yourself of them are. But Peter (was saying; *N(k)O*) Man, not I am.
59 E rile kwa moragonyana e ka nna lobaka lwa oura mongwe a tlhomamisa a re, “Ke itse motho yo, ke mongwe wa barutwa ba ga Jesu, gonne ba tswa Galalea mmogo.”
And when was elapsing about hour one other a certain was strongly affirming [it] saying; Of a truth also this one with Him was; also for a Galilean he is.
60 Mme Petere a re, “Monna ke wena, ga ke itse gore o bua kaga eng.” Mme ya re a bua mafoko a, mokoko wa lela.
Said however Peter; Man, not I know what you say. And immediately while is speaking he crowed (the *k*) rooster.

And having turned the Lord looked at Peter, and remembered Peter the (declaration *N(k)O*) of the Lord how He had said to him that Before [the] rooster crowing (today *NO*) you will deny Me three times.

And having gone forth outside (Peter *k*) he wept bitterly.
63 Mme badisa ba ba neng ba disitse Jesu ba simolola go mo sotla. Ba mo fapa matlho ba mo itaya ka mabole ba mmotsa ba re, “E mang yo o neng a go itaya ka nako eo, moporofiti?”
And the men who are holding (*k*) (Him *N(K)O*) were mocking Him beating [Him].
And having blindfolded Him (they were striking of him face and *K*) they were questioning (him *k*) saying; do prophesy, who is the [one] having struck You?

And other things many blaspheming they were saying to Him.
66 E rile letsatsi le tlhaba mo mosong o o latelang Kgotla e Tona ya Sejuta ya phuthega, go na le baperesiti ba bagolo le baruti ba molao ba bagolo ba Sechaba, Jesu a tlisiwa fa pele ga Lekgotla leo,
And when it became day, were gathered together the elderhood of the people, chief priests both and scribes, and (they led away *N(k)O*) Him into the council (of them *N(k)O*)
67 mme a tewa gatwe a tlhomamise gore a o ipitsa Mesia kgotsa nnyaa. Mme a fetola a re, “Le fa nka lo bolelela ga lo kitla lo ntumela kgotsa lo ntetla go ntsha ngongorego ya me.
saying; If You yourself are the Christ, do tell us. He said then to them; If you I shall tell, certainly not you shall believe.
if then (and *k*) I shall ask [you], certainly not you shall answer (to me nor shall you release [me]. *KO*)
69 “Mme nako e e tla ka bofefo fa Nna, Morwa Motho, ke tlaa nnang fa seatleng se segolo sa nonofo ya Modimo.”
From now on (also *no*) will be the Son of Man sitting at [the] right hand of the power of God.
70 Hong ba goa botlhe ba re, “A jaanong o ipitsa gore o Morwa Modimo?” Mme a fetola a re, “Ee ke ene.”
They said then all; You yourself then are the Son of God? And to them He was saying; You yourselves say that I myself am.
71 Mme ba goa ba re, “Re santse re tlhoka eng? Gonne rona ka bo rona re mo ikutlwetse a bua jalo.”
And they said; What any more have we of witness need We ourselves for heard [it] from the mouth of Him.
