Псалми 75

1 Хвалимо Те, Боже, хвалимо; близу је име Твоје. За Тебе казују чудеса Твоја.

To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' A Psalm of Asaph: a Song. Unto thee we give thanks, O God, we give thanks; and thy name is near: thy marvellous works declare it.

2 "Кад видим да је време, судићу право.

When I shall receive the assembly, I will judge with equity.

3 Њиха се земља са свима који живе на њој, ја утврђујем ступове њене."

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have established its pillars. (Selah)

4 Кажем хвалишама: Не хвалите се, и безаконицима: Не дижите рог.

I said unto the boastful, Boast not; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Не дижите у вис рог свој, не говорите тврдоглаво.

Lift not up your horn on high; speak not arrogantly with a [stiff] neck.

6 Јер узвишавање не долази ни од истока ни од запада ни од пустиње;

For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation [come]:

7 Него је Бог судија, једног понижује а другог узвишује.

For God is the judge; he putteth down one and exalteth another.

8 Јер је чаша у руци Господу, вино ври, наточио је пуну, и раздаје из ње. И талог ће њен прогутати, испиће сви безбожници на земљи.

For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and it foameth with wine, it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof shall all the wicked of the earth drain off, [and] drink.

9 А ја ћу казивати довека, певаћу Богу Јаковљевом.

But as for me, I will declare for ever; I will sing psalms to the God of Jacob.

10 "Све ћу рогове безбожницима поломити, а рогови праведникови узвисиће се."

And all the horns of the wicked will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
