Псалми 71
1 У Тебе се, Господе, уздам, немој ме оставити под срамотом вечном.
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be ashamed.
2 Правдом својом избави ме, и опрости ме, пригни к мени ухо своје и помози ми.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: bow down thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Буди ми град где бих свагда долазио да живим, уреди спасење моје; јер си Ти град мој и крепост моја.
Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Боже мој! Узми ме из руке безбожникове, из руке безаконикове и насилникове.
Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 Јер си Ти надање моје, Господ је Господ поуздање моје од младости моје.
For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth.
6 Тебе се држим од рођења, од утробе матере моје Ти си бранич мој; Тобом се хвалим свагда.
By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
7 Чудо сам многима, а Ти си уточиште моје јако.
I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 Уста су моја пуна хвале Твоје, славе Твоје сваки дан.
My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, and with thy honour all the day.
9 Немој ме одбацити под старост, кад ме издаје снага моја, немој ме оставити.
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 Јер непријатељи моји мисле о мени, и који вребају душу моју договарају се,
For mine enemies speak concerning me; and they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
11 Говорећи: Бог га је оставио, потерајте и ухватите га, јер га нема ко избавити.
Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.
12 Боже! Не буди далеко од мене; Боже мој! Похитај ми у помоћ.
O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste to help me.
13 Нек се постиде и погину противници душе моје; нека попадне стид и срамота на оне који ми траже зла!
Let them be ashamed [and] consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 А ја ћу се свагда уздати, и понављаћу хвале Теби.
But I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.
15 Уста ће моја казивати правду Твоју, сваки дан доброчинства Твоја, јер им не знам броја.
My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, [and] of thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof].
16 Ући ћу у сили Господа Господа, и славићу само Твоју правду.
I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 Боже! Ти си ме учио од младости, и до данас казујем чудеса Твоја.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 Ни у старости и кад оседех немој ме оставити, Боже, еда бих казивао мишицу Твоју наслеђу, свој омладини силу Твоју,
Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have declared thy strength unto [the next] generation, thy might to every one that is to come.
19 Правда је Твоја, Боже, до највише висине; у великим делима, која си учинио, Боже, ко је као Ти?
Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high; thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto thee?
20 Колико си ме пута бацао у велике и љуте невоље, пак си ме опет оставио међу живима и из бездана ме земаљских опет извадио.
Thou, which hast shewed us many and sore troubles, shalt quicken us again, and shalt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Много си ме пута подизао и понављао утехе.
Increase thou my greatness, and turn again and comfort me.
22 И ја Те хвалим уз псалтир, Твоју верност, Боже мој; ударам Ти у гусле, Свече Израиљев!
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing praises with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23 Радују се уста моја кад певам Теби, и душа моја, коју си избавио.
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24 И језик мој сваки дан казује правду Твоју; јер су постиђени и посрамљени они који ми траже зла.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are ashamed, for they are confounded, that seek my hurt.
