Псалми 64

1 Чуј, Боже, глас мој у јаду мом; од страшног непријатеља сачувај живот мој.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 Сакриј ме од гомиле безаконика, од чете злочинаца,

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

3 Који наоштрише језик свој као мач, стрељају речима, које задају ране,

Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4 Да би из потаје убили правога. Изненада ударају на њ и не боје се;

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 Утврђују себе у злим намерама, договарају се како ће замке сакрити, веле: Ко ће их видети?

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they speak of laying snares secretly; they say, Who shall see them?

6 Измишљају злочинства и говоре: Свршено је! Шта ће се радити, смишљено је! А шта је унутра и срце у човека дубоко је.

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

7 Али ће их Бог поразити; удариће их стрела изненада.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

8 Обориће један другог језиком својим. Ко их год види, бежаће од њих.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9 Сви ће се људи бојати и казиваће чудо Божије, и познаће у томе дело Његово.

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

10 А праведник ће се веселити о Господу и уздаће се у Њега, и хвалиће се сви који су правог срца.

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
