Псалми 47

1 Сви народи, запљескајте рукама, покликните Богу гласом радосним.

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 Јер је Вишњи Господ страшан, цар велики над свом земљом.

For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.

3 Покори нам народе и племена под ноге наше.

He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;

4 Избра нам достојање наше, красоту Јакова, који Му омиле.

He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. (Pause)

5 Иде Бог уз подвикивање, Господ уз глас трубни.

God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.

6 Појте Богу, појте; појте цару нашем, појте;

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!

7 Јер је Бог цар од све земље, појте песму.

For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!

8 Бог царује над народима; Бог седи на светом престолу свом.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 Кнезови народни састављају се с народом Бога Аврамовог. Јер су штитови земаљски Божији. Да је узвишен!

The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.
