Псалми 46

1 Бог нам је уточиште и сила, помоћник, који се у невољама брзо налази.

“To the chief musician: by the sons of Korach, upon 'Alamoth, a song.” God is our protection and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.

2 Зато се нећемо бојати, да би се земља поместила, и горе се превалиле у срце морима.

Therefore will we not fear, even when the earth is transformed, and when mountains are moved into the heart of the seas;

3 Нека бучи и кипи вода њихова, нек се планине тресу од вала њихових;

[When] the waters thereof roar and foam, when mountains quake before his majesty. (Selah)

4 Потоци веселе град Божји, свети стан Вишњег.

[There] is a river, its rivulets cause to rejoice the city of God, the sanctuary of the dwellings of the Most High.

5 Бог је усред њега, неће се поместити, Бог му помаже од зоре.

God is in her midst; she shall not be moved: God will ever help her, at the dawning of [her] morning.

6 Узбучаше народи, задрмаше се царства; али Он пусти глас свој и земља се растапаше.

Nations rage, kingdoms are moved: he letteth his voice be heard, the earth melteth away.

7 Господ над војскама с нама је, бранич је наш Бог Јаковљев.

The Lord of hosts is with us; a defense unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)

8 Ходите и видите дела Господа, који учини чудеса на земљи,

Come, look at the deeds of the Lord, who hath made desolations on the earth.

9 Прекиде ратове до краја земље, лук преби, копље сломи, и кола сажеже огњем.

He causeth wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in pieces; he burneth wagons in the fire.

10 Утолите и познајте да сам ја Бог; ја сам узвишен по народима, узвишен на земљи.

Leave off, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.

11 Господ над војскама с нама је, бранич је наш Бог Јаковљев.

The Lord of hosts is with us; a defence unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)
