Псалми 40
1 Дуго чеках Господа, и саже се к мени, и чу вику моју.
To the choirmaster of David a psalm. Certainly I waited for Yahweh and he stretched out to me and he heard cry for help my.
2 Извади ме из јаме, која бучи, и из глиба, и постави на камен ноге моје, и утврди стопе моје.
And he brought up me - from a pit of roaring from [the] mud of the mire and he set on a rock feet my he established steps my.
3 И метну у уста моја песму нову, хвалу Богу нашем. Виде многи, и почињу се бојати Господа, и уздати се у Њега.
And he put in mouth my - a song new praise to God our they will see many [people] so they may fear and they may trust in Yahweh.
4 Благо ономе који на Господа ставља надање своје, и не обраћа се охолима и оним који теже на лаж.
How blessed! [is] the man who he has made Yahweh trust his and not he has turned to proud people and [those who] fall away of falsehood.
5 Многа су чудеса Твоја, која си учинио Господе, Боже мој, и многе су мисли Твоје с нама. Нема Ти равна. Хтео бих јављати и казивати, али им броја нема.
Many you have made - you - O Yahweh God my wonders your and plans your to us not - to compare to you I will declare and I will speak they are [too] numerous for recounting.
6 Жртве и дарове нећеш; Ти си ми уши отворио; жртву паљеницу и која се за грех приноси не тражиш.
Sacrifice and offering - not you desired ears you dug for me burnt offering and sin offering not you asked for.
7 И по томе рекох: Ево идем, као што је у књизи писано за мене;
Then I said here! I have come in [the] scroll of [the] book [it is] written on me.
8 Хоћу чинити вољу Твоју, Боже мој, и закон је Твој мени у срцу.
To do will your O God my I desire and law your [is] in [the] midst of inward parts my.
9 Казујем правду на сабору великом; ево, уста својих не устављам; Господе, Ти знаш.
I have borne news righteousness - in [the] assembly great here! lips my not I restrain O Yahweh you you know.
10 Правде Твоје не сакривам у срцу свом, казујем верност Твоју и спасење Твоје; и не тајим милости Твоје и истине Твоје од сабора великог.
Righteousness your not I have concealed - in [the] midst of heart my faithfulness your and salvation your I have spoken not I have hidden covenant loyalty your and faithfulness your to [the] assembly great.
11 Господе, немој затворити срца свог од мене; милост Твоја и истина Твоја једнако нека ме чувају.
You O Yahweh not you will withhold compassion your from me covenant loyalty your and faithfulness your continually they preserve me.
12 Јер ме опколише зла небројена; стигоше ме неправде моје, да не могу гледати; има их више него косе на глави мојој, срце ме моје остави.
For they have surrounded me - troubles until there not [was] number they have overtaken me iniquities my and not I am able to see they are numerous more than [the] hairs of head my and heart my it has abandoned me.
13 Господе, вољан буди избавити ме, Господе, похитај ми у помоћ.
Be pleased O Yahweh to deliver me O Yahweh to help my make haste!
14 Нек се постиде и посраме сви који траже погибао души мојој! Нек се врате натраг и постиде који ми желе зло.
May they be ashamed and they may be abashed - altogether [those who] seek life my to snatch away it may they be turned back backwards and may they be humiliated [the] [people] desirous of harm my.
15 Нек се поврате у сметњи својој који ми говоре: Ха! Ха!
May they be appalled on [the] consequence of shame their those [who] say to me aha! - aha!
16 Нека се теше и веселе Тобом сви који траже Тебе Господе, и који љубе спасење Твоје, нека једнако говоре: Велик Господ!
May they exult and they may rejoice - in you all [those who] seek you may they say continually he is great Yahweh [those who] love salvation your.
17 Ја сам несрећан и ништ, нека се Господ постара за ме! Ти си помоћ моја и Избавитељ мој, Боже мој, не часи.
And I - [am] poor and needy [the] Lord may he think to me [are] help my and deliverer my you O God my may not you delay.
