Псалми 33
1 Веселите се праведници пред Господом; праведнима доликује славити.
Rejoice in YHWH, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 Славите Господа гуслама, ударајте Му у псалтир од десет жица.
Praise YHWH with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Певајте Му песму нову, сложно ударајте подвикујући;
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 Јер је права реч Господња, и свако дело Његово истинито.
For the word of YHWH is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 Он љуби правду и суд, доброте је Господње пуна земља.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of YHWH.
6 Речју Господњом небеса се створише, и духом уста Његових сва војска њихова.
By the word of YHWH were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 Као у гомилу сабра воду морску, и пропасти метну у спреме.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 Нек се боји Господа сва земља, и нека стрепи пред Њим све што живи по васиљени;
Let all the earth fear YHWH: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 Јер Он рече, и постаде; Он заповеди, и показа се.
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 Господ разбија намере незнабошцима, уништава помисли народима.
YHWH bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 Намера је Господња тврда довека, мисли срца његова од колена на колено.
The counsel of YHWH standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Благо народу, коме је Бог Господ, племену, које је Он изабрао себи за наслеђе.
Blessed is the nation whose Elohim is YHWH: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 С неба гледа Господ, види све синове људске;
YHWH looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 С престола, на коме седи, погледа на све који живе на земљи.
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 Он је створио сва срца њихова, Он и зна сва дела њихова.
He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 Неће помоћи цару велика сила, неће заштитити јакога велика снага;
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 Није у коњу уздање да ће помоћи; ако му је и велика снага; неће избавити.
An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Гле, око је Господње на онима који Га се боје, и на онима који чекају милост Његову.
Behold, the eye of YHWH is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 Он ће душу њихову избавити од смрти, и прехранити их у гладне године.
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Душа се наша узда у Господа; Он је помоћ наша и штит наш.
Our soul waiteth for YHWH: he is our help and our shield.
21 О Њему се весели срце наше; јер се у свето име Његово уздамо.
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Да буде милост Твоја, Господе, на нама, као што се уздамо у Тебе.
Let thy mercy, O YHWH, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
