Псалми 30

1 Узвишаваћу Те, Господе, јер си ме отео, и ниси дао непријатељима мојим да ми се свете.

“A psalm, a song at the dedication of the temple, of David.” I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not suffered my enemies to rejoice over me.

2 Господе, Боже мој! Завиках к Теби, и исцелио си ме.

O Lord my God, I cried loudly unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3 Господе! Извео си из пакла душу моју, и оживео си ме да не сиђем у гроб. (Sheol h7585)

O Lord, thou hast brought up from the nether world my soul: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Sheol h7585)

4 Појте Господу, свеци Његови, и славите свето име Његово.

Sing unto the Lord, O ye his pious ones, and give thanks to the memorial of his holiness.

5 Гнев је Његов за тренуће ока, а до живота милост Његова, вечером долази плач, а јутром радост.

For his anger is momentary, [but] life is in his favor: in the evening [cometh] weeping to stay for a night, but in the morning, there is joyful song.

6 И ја рекох у добру свом: Нећу посрнути довека.

And I had said indeed in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

7 Ти хтеде, Господе, те гора моја стајаше тврдо. Ти одврати лице своје, и ја се сметох.

Lord, by thy favor hadst thou caused my mountain to stand in strength: thou didst hide thy face, [and] I was terrified.

8 Тада Тебе, Господе, зазивах, и Господа молих:

Unto thee, O Lord, will I call; and unto the Lord will I make supplication.

9 "Каква је корист од крви моје, да сиђем у гроб? Хоће ли Те прах славити или казивати истину Твоју?

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the grave? Shall the dust thank thee? shall it announce thy truth?

10 Чуј, Господе, и смилуј се на ме; Господе буди ми помоћник."

Hear, O Lord, and be gracious unto me: Lord, be thou a helper unto me.

11 И Ти промени плач мој на радост, скиде с мене врећу. опаса ме весељем.

Thou hast changed my mourning into dancing for me; thou hast loosened my sack-cloth, and girded me with joy.

12 Зато ће Ти певати слава моја и неће умукнути; Господе, Боже мој! Довека ћу Те хвалити.

To the end that my glorious soul may sing praise to thee, and never be silent. O Lord my God, for ever will I give thanks unto thee.
