Псалми 149

1 Појте Господу песму нову; хвала да Му је на сабору светих.

Praise Adonai! Sing to Adonai a new song, his tehilah ·praise song· in the assembly of the saints.

2 Нека се весели Израиљ о Створитељу свом, синови сионски нек се радују о цару свом.

Let Israel [God prevails] rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] be joyful in their King.

3 Нека хвале име Његово покликујући, у бубањ и гусле нека Му ударају.

Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with tambourine and harp!

4 Јер је мио Господу народ Његов, украшава смерне спасавајући их.

For Adonai takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with yishu'ah ·salvation·.

5 Нек се веселе свеци у слави, и нек се радују на постељама својим.

Let the saints rejoice in kavod ·weighty glory·. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

6 Слава је Божија у устима њиховим, и мач с обе стране оштар у руци њиховој,

May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 Да се освете народима, и покарају племена;

To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;

8 Да свежу цареве њихове у ланце, и властелу њихову у окове гвоздене,

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 И изврше на њима написани суд. Ова је част свима свецима Његовим. Алилуја!

to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
