1 Из дубине вичем к Теби, Господе!

Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Jehovah.

2 Господе! Чуј глас мој. Нека пазе уши Твоје на глас мољења мог.

Lord, hear my voice. Let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Ако ћеш на безакоње гледати, Господе, Господе, ко ће остати?

If thou, Jehovah, should note iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

4 Али је у Тебе праштање, да би Те се бојали.

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou may be feared.

5 Чекам Господа; чека душа моја; уздам се у реч Његову.

I wait for Jehovah. My soul waits, and in his word do I hope,

6 Душа моја чека Господа већма него страже јутарње, које страже јутром.

my soul for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning.

7 Нека чека Израиљ Господа; јер је у Господа милост, и велик је у Њега откуп.

O Israel, hope in Jehovah, for with Jehovah there is loving kindness, and with him is plentiful redemption.

8 И Он ће откупити Израиља од свих безакоња Његових.

And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
