Псалми 116
1 Мило ми је што Господ услиши молитвени глас мој;
I love Jehovah, for he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications;
2 Што пригну к мени ухо своје; и зато ћу Га у све дане своје призивати.
For he hath inclined his ear unto me, and I will call upon him during [all] my days.
The bands of death encompassed me, and the anguish of Sheol took hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow: (Sheol h7585)
4 Али призвах име Господње: Господе! Избави душу моју!
Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: I beseech thee, Jehovah, deliver my soul.
5 Добар је Господ и праведан, и Бог је наш милостив;
Gracious is Jehovah and righteous; and our God is merciful.
6 Чува просте Господ; бејах у невољи, и поможе ми.
Jehovah keepeth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.
7 Врати се душо моја, у мир свој! Јер је Господ добротвор твој!
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 Ти си избавио душу моју од смрти, око моје од суза, ногу моју од спотицања.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
9 Ходићу пред лицем Господњим по земљи живих.
I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.
10 Веровах кад говорих: У љутој сам невољи.
I believed, therefore have I spoken. As for me, I was greatly afflicted.
11 Рекох у сметњи својој: Сваки је човек лажа.
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 Шта ћу вратити Господу за сва добра што ми је учинио?
What shall I render unto Jehovah, [for] all his benefits toward me?
13 Узећу чашу спасења, и призваћу име Господње.
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.
14 Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свим народом Његовим.
I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people.
15 Скупа је пред Господом смрт светаца Његових.
Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints.
16 О Господе! Ја сам слуга Твој, ја сам слуга Твој, син слушкиње Твоје; расковао си с мене окове моје.
Yea, Jehovah! for I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 Жртву за хвалу принећу Теби, и име Господње призваћу.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jehovah.
18 Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свим народом Његовим,
I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people,
19 У двору дома Господњег, усред тебе, Јерусалиме. Алилуја!
In the courts of Jehovah's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
