Књига Исуса Навина 2
1 А Исус син Навин посла из Ситима потајно две уходе рекавши им: Идите, видите земљу и Јерихон. И они одоше, и дођоше у кућу једној курви, којој име беше Рава, и преноћише онде.
And he sent Joshua [the] son of Nun from Shittim two men spies secretly saying go see the land and Jericho and they went and they went [the] house of a woman a prostitute and name her [was] Rahab and they lay down there.
2 Али би јављено цару јерихонском и казано: Ево, људи дођоше овамо ноћас између синова Израиљевих да уходе земљу.
And it was told to [the] king of Jericho saying here! men they have come hither this night from [the] people of Israel to spy out the land.
3 И посла цар јерихонски к Рави и поручи: Изведи људе који су дошли к теби и ушли у твоју кућу, јер су дошли да уходе сву земљу.
And he sent [the] king of Jericho to Rahab saying bring out the men who came to you who they came to house your for to spy out all the land they have come.
4 Али жена узевши она два човека сакри их; па рече: Јесте истина да су људи дошли к мени, али ја не знах одакле беху;
And she took the woman [the] two the men and she hid him and she said - right they came to me the men and not I knew from where [were] they.
5 И кад се врата затвараху у сумрак, људи изађоше; не знам куда одоше; идите брзо за њима; стићи ћете их.
And it was the gate [about] to shut at darkness and the men they went out not I know where? did they go the men pursue quickly after them for you will overtake them.
6 А она их беше извела на кров, и сакрила их под лан нетрвен, који беше разастрла по крову.
And she she had taken up them the roof towards and she had hidden them among [the] flax of the tree that had been arranged by her on the roof.
7 И људи пођоше за њима у потеру пут Јордана до брода; и врата се затворише кад изађе потера за њима.
And the men they pursued after them [the] road of the Jordan to the fords and the gate people closed after just when they had gone out the pursuers after them.
8 Они, пак, још не беху поспали, а она дође к њима на кров,
And they not yet they had lain down! and she she went up to them on the roof.
9 И рече им: Знам да вам је Господ дао ову земљу, јер нас попаде страх од вас, и препали су се од вас сви који живе у овој земљи.
And she said to the men I know that he has given Yahweh to you the land and that it has fallen dread your on us and that they have melted away all [the] inhabitants of the land because of you.
10 Јер чусмо како је Господ осушио пред вама Црвено море кад изађосте из Мисира, и шта сте учинили од два цара аморејска који беху преко Јордана, од Сиона и Ога, које побисте.
For we have heard this: he dried up Yahweh [the] waters of [the] sea of reed[s] from before you when came out you from Egypt and [that] which you did to [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [was] on [the] other side of the Jordan to Sihon and to Og whom you totally destroyed them.
11 И кад то чусмо, растопи се срце наше, и ни у коме већ нема јунаштва од страха од вас, јер је Господ, Бог ваш, Бог горе на небу и доле на земљи.
And we heard and it melted heart our and not it arose again spirit in anyone because of you for Yahweh God your he [is] God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.
12 Него сада закуните ми се Господом да ћете учинити милост дому оца мог као што ја вама учиних милост, и дајте ми знак истинит,
And therefore swear please to me by Yahweh for I have done with you loyalty and you will do also you with [the] household of father my loyalty and you will give to me a sign of faithfulness.
13 Да ћете сачувати живот мом оцу и мојој мајци и мојој браћи и мојим сестрама и свима њиховим, и да ћете избавити душе наше од смрти.
And you will let live father my and mother my and brothers my and (sisters my *Q(K)*) and all who [belong] to them and you will deliver lives our from death.
14 А људи јој одговорише: Ми ћемо изгинути за вас, ако не издате ову нашу ствар; и кад нам Господ да ову земљу, учинићемо ти милост и веру.
And they said to her the men life our for you to die if not you will tell business our this and it will be when gives Yahweh to us the land and we will do with you loyalty and faithfulness.
15 Тада их она спусти кроз прозор по конопцу; јер кућа њена беше на зиду градском, и она на зиду становаше.
And she let down them with rope through the window for house her [was] in [the] wall of the city wall and in the city wall she [was] dwelling.
16 И рече им: Идите у гору да не наиђе на вас потера, и онде се кријте три дана док се не врати потера, па онда идите својим путем.
And she said to them the hill country towards go lest they should meet you the pursuers and you will hide yourselves there three days until return the pursuers and after you will go to way your.
17 А људи јој рекоше: Бићемо прости од ове твоје заклетве којом си нас заклела;
And they said to her the men [will be] free we from oath your this which you made swear us.
18 Ево, кад дођемо у земљу, вежи ову врпцу од скерлета на прозор, кроз који си нас спустила, и скупи код себе у ту кућу оца свог и матер и браћу и сав дом оца свог.
Here! we [are] about to come in the land [the] cord of [the] thread of the scarlet this you will bind in the window which you let down us in it and father your and mother your and brothers your and all [the] household of father your you will gather to you the house towards.
19 И ко би год изашао из твоје куће, крв његова нека буде на његову главу, а ми да нисмо криви; а ко год буде с тобом у кући, крв његова нека дође на наше главе, ако га се ко руком дотакне.
And it will be every [one] who he will go out from [the] doors of house your - the outside towards blood his [will be] on own head his and we [will be] free and every [one] who he will be with you in the house blood his [will be] on head our if a hand it will be on him.
20 Али ако издаш ову ствар нашу, тада ћемо бити прости од твоје заклетве, којом си нас заклела.
And if you will tell business our this and we will be free from oath your which you made swear us.
21 А она одговори: Како рекосте тако нека буде. Тада их пусти, и одоше; и она веза врпцу од скерлета на прозор.
And she said according to words your [be] so it and she sent off them and they went and she bound [the] cord of the scarlet in the window.
22 А они отишавши дођоше у гору, и осташе онде три дана докле се не врати потера; јер их је потера тражила по свим путевима, али их не нађе.
And they went and they came the hill country towards and they remained there three days until they returned the pursuers and they searched the pursuers in all the way and not they found [them].
23 И вратише се она два човека, и сишавши с горе пребродише и дођоше к Исусу, сину Навином, и приповедише му све што им се догодило.
And they returned [the] two the men and they went down from the hill country and they passed over and they came to Joshua [the] son of Nun and they recounted to him all the [things that] had found with them.
24 И рекоше Исусу: Заиста дао нам је Господ у руке сву ту земљу, и сви становници оне земље уплашили су се од нас.
And they said to Joshua that he has given Yahweh in hand our all the land and also they have melted away all [the] inhabitants of the land because of us.
