Књига Исуса Навина 16
1 И допаде део синовима Јосифовим од Јордана код Јерихона, од воде јерихонске к истоку, на пустињу која иде од Јерихона на гору ветиљску,
Then came out the lot, for the sons of Joseph, from the Jordan by Jericho, at the waters of Jericho, eastward, —the desert, going up from Jericho, through the hill country to Bethel;
2 А од Ветиља иде на Луз и долази до међе архијске до Атарота,
and it goeth out from Bethel towards Luz, —and passeth over unto the boundary of the Archites at Ataroth;
3 Потом иде на запад до међе јафлетске па до међе доњег Вет-Орона и до Гезера, и излази на море.
and descendeth westward, unto the boundary of the Japhletites, as far as the boundary of Bethhoron the nether, and as far as Gezer, —and the extensions thereof are to the sea.
4 Тако добише наследство синови Јосифови, Манасија и Јефрем.
So the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.
5 А беше међа синовима Јефремовим по породицама њиховим, беше међа наследства њиховог к истоку Атарот-Адар до горњег Вет-Орона,
And the boundary of the sons of Ephraim, by their families, was, —yea the boundary of their inheritance on the east, was Ataroth-addar, as far as Beth-horon the upper;
6 И излази међа на море код Михмете са северне стране, па се обрће међа к истоку до Танат-Силона, и пролази с истока до Јанохе,
and the boundary goeth out westward at Michmethath, on the north, then the boundary bendeth round easward, to Taanath-shiloh, —and passeth by it on the east to Janoah;
7 Потом силази од Јанохе до Атарота и Нарата, и дошавши до Јерихона удара у Јордан.
and goeth down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, —and toucheth upon Jericho, and goeth out at the Jordan.
8 Од Тафује иде међа к истоку до потока Кане и излази на море. То је наследство племена синова Јефремових по породицама њиховим.
From Tappuah, runneth the boundary along westward, to the ravine of Kanah, and the extensions thereof are to the sea, —this, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by their families;
9 А градови беху одвојени синовима Јефремовим у наследству синова Манасијиних, сви градови са селима својим.
together with the cities which were separated for the sons of Ephraim, in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, —all the cities, with their villages.
10 А не изагнаше Хананејина који живљаше у Гезеру; зато осташе Хананеји међу синовима Јефремовим до данас плаћајући данак.
But they did not dispossess the Canaanites who were dwelling in Gazer, —so the Canaanites have dwelt in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and have become tributary servants.
