1 И рече Господ Ноју: Уђи у ковчег ти и сав дом твој; јер те нађох праведна пред собом овог века.
Adonai said to Noah [Rest], “Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.
2 Узми са собом од свих животиња чистих по седморо, све мужјака и женку његову; а од животиња нечистих по двоје, мужјака и женку његову,
You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.
3 Такође и од птица небеских по седам, мужјака и женку његову, да им се сачува семе на земљи.
Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth.
4 Јер ћу до седам дана пустити дажд на земљу за четрдесет дана и четрдесет ноћи, и истребићу са земље свако тело живо, које сам створио.
In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. Every living thing that I have made, I will destroy from the surface of the ground.”
5 И Ноје учини све што му заповеди Господ.
Noah [Rest] did everything that Adonai enjoined him.
6 А беше Ноју шест стотина година кад дође потоп на земљу.
Noah [Rest] was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.
7 И уђе Ноје у ковчег и синови његови и жена његова и жене синова његових с њим ради потопа.
Noah [Rest] went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the flood waters.
8 Од животиња чистих и од животиња нечистих и од птица и од свега што се миче по земљи,
Clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground
9 Уђе к Ноју у ковчег по двоје, мушко и женско, као што беше Бог заповедио Ноју.
went by pairs to Noah [Rest] into the ship, male and female, as God enjoined Noah [Rest].
10 А у седми дан дође потоп на земљу.
After the seven days, the flood waters came on the earth.
11 Кад је било Ноју шест стотина година, те године другог месеца, седамнаести дан тога месеца, тај дан развалише се сви извори великог бездана, и отворише се уставе небеске;
In the six hundredth year of Noah [Rest]’s life, in the second month (Iyar ·Light / I Am God your healer, 2·), on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open, and the sky’s windows were opened.
12 И удари дажд на земљу за четрдесет дана и четрдесет ноћи.
It rained on the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 Тај дан уђе у ковчег Ноје и Сим и Хам и Јафет, синови Нојеви, и жена Нојева и три жене синова његових с њима;
In the same day Noah [Rest], and Shem [Name], Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion], and Japheth [Enlargement, Spreading wide]— the sons of Noah— and Noah [Rest]’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ship—
14 Они, и свакојаке звери по врстама својим, и свакојака стока по врстама својим, и шта се год миче по земљи по врстама својим, и птице све по врстама својим, и шта год лети и има крила,
they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.
15 Дође к Ноју у ковчег по двоје од сваког тела, у коме има жива душа,
Pairs from all flesh with the breath of life in them went to Noah [Rest] into the ship.
16 Мушко и женско од сваког тела уђоше, као што беше Бог заповедио Ноју; па Господ затвори за њим.
Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God enjoined him; then Adonai shut him in.
17 И би потоп на земљи за четрдесет дана; и вода дође и узе ковчег, и подиже га од земље.
The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth.
18 И навали вода, и уста јако по земљи, и ковчег стаде пловити водом.
The waters rose, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters.
19 И наваљиваше вода све већма по земљи, и покри сва највиша брда што су под целим небом.
The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.
20 Петнаест лаката дође вода изнад брда, пошто их покри.
The waters rose fifteen cubits [22.5 ft; 68.58 m] higher, and the mountains were covered.
21 Тада изгибе свако тело што се мицаше на земљи, птице и стока, и звери и све што гамиже по земљи, и сви људи.
All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.
22 Све што имаше душу живу у носу, све што беше на сувом, помре.
All on the dry land, in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.
23 И истреби се свако тело живо на земљи, и људи и стока и шта год гамиже и птице небеске, све, велим, истреби се са земље; само Ноје оста и шта с њим беше у ковчегу.
Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah [Rest] was left, and those who were with him in the ship.
24 И стајаше вода поврх земље сто педесет дана.
The waters flooded the earth one hundred fifty days.
