1 Мојсијева 17

1 А кад Авраму би деведесет и девет година, јави му се Господ и рече му: Ја сам Бог Свемогући, по мојој вољи живи, и буди поштен.

When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

2 И учинићу завет између себе и тебе, и врло ћу те умножити.

And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.

3 А Аврам паде ничице. И Господ му још говори и рече:

Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

4 Од мене ево завет мој с тобом да ћеш бити отац многим народима.

Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,

5 Зато се више нећеш звати Аврам него ће ти име бити Авраам, јер сам те учинио оцем многих народа;

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.

6 Даћу ти породицу врло велику, и начинићу од тебе народе многе, и цареви ће изаћи од тебе.

Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.

7 А постављам завет свој између себе и тебе и семена твог након тебе од колена до колена, да је завет вечан, да сам Бог теби и семену твом након тебе;

Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.

8 И даћу теби и семену твом након тебе земљу у којој си дошљак, сву земљу хананску у државу вечну, и бићу им Бог.

And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.

9 И рече Бог Авраму: Ти пак држи завет мој, ти и семе твоје након тебе од колена до колена.

Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.

10 А ово је завет мој између мене и вас и семена твог након тебе који ћете држати: да се обрезују између вас све мушкиње.

This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

11 А обрезиваћете окрајак тела свог, да буде знак завета између мене и вас.

That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.

12 Свако мушко дете кад му буде осам дана да се обрезује од колена до колена, родило се у кући или било купљено за новце од којих год странаца, које не буде од семена твог.

And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.

13 Да се обрезује које се роди у кући твојој и које се купи за новце твоје; тако ће бити завет мој на телу вашем завет вечан.

He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.

14 А необрезано мушко, коме се не обреже окрајак тела његовог, да се истреби из народа свог, јер поквари завет мој.

But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.

15 И још рече Бог Авраму: А Сару жену своју не зови је више Сара него нека јој буде име Саара.

Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.

16 И ја ћу је благословити, и даћу ти сина од ње; благословићу је, и биће мати многим народима, и цареви народима изаћи ће од ње.

And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.

17 Тада паде Аврам ничице и насмеја се говорећи у срцу свом: Еда ће се човеку од сто година родити син? И Сари? Еда ће жена од деведесет година родити?

Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?

18 И Аврам рече Богу: Нека жив буде Исмаило пред Тобом!

And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.

19 И рече Бог: Заиста Сара жена твоја родиће ти сина, и надећеш му име Исак; и поставићу завет свој с њим да буде завет вечан семену његовом након њега.

Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.

20 А и за Исмаила услишио сам те; ево благословио сам га, и даћу му породицу велику, и умножићу га веома; и родиће дванаест кнезова, и начинићу од њега велик народ.

And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.

21 А завет свој учинићу с Исаком кад ти га роди Сара, до године у ово доба.

But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.

22 И Бог изговоривши отиде од Аврама горе.

And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.

23 И Аврам узе Исмаила сина свог и све који се родише у дому његовом и које год беше купио за своје новце, све мушкиње од домаћих својих; и обреза окрајак тела њиховог у исти дан, као што му каза Бог.

Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.

24 А беше Авраму деведесет и девет година кад обреза окрајак тела свог.

Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

25 А Исмаилу сину његовом беше тринаест година кад му се обреза окрајак тела његовог.

And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

26 У један дан обреза се Аврам и син му Исмаило,

The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:

27 И сви домашњи његови, рођени у кући и купљени за новце од странаца, бише обрезани с њим.

And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
